Tyson Foods announces 30%+ price hike for beef and pork as food inflation explodes

Tyson, the largest meat producer in the United States, is about to increase prices for chicken, beef and pork. For over a year, the company refrained from raising their prices, even as inflation put pressure on their quarterly earnings. Now the company has no choice but increase their prices by between 19-38 percent.

Inflation has risen to its highest level in thirty-one years, as America faces historic incompetence in the Congress and the White House. Instead of sticking to a budget and adhering to responsible economic policies, the U.S. Congress passed a $1 trillion spending bill, insulting American taxpayers and common sense. Joe Biden signed the spending extravaganza with glee, claiming that additional government spending will help the current economic situation.

He said the current inflation is only temporary and Americans need not worry. Biden says the benefits of his new infrastructure deal will soon be felt (even though out-of-control government spending is one of the main reasons why inflation continues to skyrocket). “My message to the American people is this: America is moving again and your life is going to change for the better,” Biden lied through his false teeth.

As inflation explodes, companies are increasing costs at a historic pace

As inflation explodes and as government spending continues to spiral out of control, major food retailers are preparing for new, historic price hikes on top of the price increases they already expected. Tyson Foods just announced new price hikes for chicken, beef and pork. During the fourth quarter of 2021, chicken prices are set to go up 19 percent; beef is set to go up 33 percent; and pork prices will rise 38 percent. The company contradicts the Biden administration and says rising prices will continue into the foreseeable future, as long as inflation continues to put pressure on the company.

“Inflation has clearly had an impact on the business,” said CEO Donnie King. “As rates of inflation continue, so will our pricing actions.”

On the company’s quarterly earnings call, Tyson Foods CFO Stewart Glendinning said the company has not increased prices to adjust for inflation throughout 2021, but hopes to recover those cost increases during fiscal year 2022. “We expect to take continued pricing actions to ensure that any inflationary cost increases that our business incurs are passed along.”

Tyson is expected to see revenues of $47 billion in 2021 and expects anywhere from $49 to $51 billion in 2022. The increases in revenue over the next year aren’t expected to result in higher profits, as operation costs continue to rise.

Like most US companies, Tyson is dealing with increased labor costs, thanks to the federal government’s plan to pay people extra to stay home and not work. The labor shortages are exacerbated by unlawful vaccine mandates that are driving hard working people out of the labor force and into the black market.

Tyson is also dealing with increased transportation costs thanks to the Biden regime’s war on American energy, pipelines, coal and natural gas. The cost of feed grain and packaging is also going up, giving the company more reasons to raise their prices.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, inflation is causing historic price increases throughout the economy. Used cars are now up 26%. Fuel is up 59%. Laundry equipment is up 15%. Furniture is up 12%. Foods like eggs, bacon and steak are up 11%, 20% and 24% respectively. From September to October of this year, consumer prices have risen on average, .9 percent. The Bureau reports that prices of consumer goods have risen six percent over the past year alone, with no end in sight.

Thanks, Abby. You’re always looking out for me! I was there today (mid-day) and the whole pool area was closed because they can’t find workers (for what they pay). When I asked a couple months ago, they were paying $14 / hour. I think they’re up to $15 /hour now, but no takers. I think they should offer $200 an hour for some smoking hot chicks. Even if they can’t swim. Let the little buggers fend for themselves while the hot lifeguards traipse around in bikinis.

Good thing I’ve been buying my beef from a local farmer who only feeds them grass. Cost of grass doesn’t seem to be rising. Also, I buy my pork from a local farmer who raises his pigs on pasture as well. His prices are still very competitive.

I am so glad we got our farm and we will be raising just such beef. Cost of grass is rising, if you are buying it in hay form. We are going to do pigs on pasture too. I want to get into goat cheese, but that is down the road. I don’t want to buy too much feed and no more chemicals than I would use on myself if I had to be outside all day. We are so happy and so blessed. I am going to want to pick HF’s brain for how to approach slop sourcing and feeding. I really don’t want to have to source any feed off farm, but some will be necessary.

Make your own dog food…it’s coming down to that. I had to go to Wally world today so I thought I’d go look at the pet section. Canned cat and dog food are very scarce. Probably due to meat costs.

Growing up dog food was table scraps mixed with cornbread and milk and, maybe, bacon fat. I make dog food with white rice, beef/chicken (cheap cuts) and other meat scraps like turkey necks(no pork) mixed veggies and a can of sardines and if handy, a dozen eggs. The annoying thing is if I don’t thoroughly mash the veggies I discover a very clean little pile of veggies in the bottom of the bowl. How do they manage to lick a pea and not squash it?

I’ll do that for my other dog. But one dog is refusing all food…unless it’s steak or hamburger meat, that’s it! His liver is failing and trying last ditch efforts to get him well. He’ll probably be crossing the Rainbow Bridge soon. So…he can have all the steak he wants, even if it costs me an arm and leg.

So Long CAFO’s!

Mega Farms Called CAFOs Dominate Animal Agriculture Industry

Which Companies Use CAFOs?
A huge range of stores and brands, including supermarkets and fast-food chains, sell products that come from CAFOs, but a handful of giant multinational food producers dominate the sector.

In the U.S., for example, 63 percent of pig processing lies in the hands of just three companies—JBS, Tyson Foods, and WH Group Limited. Two of these, JBS and Tyson Foods, are also responsible for 46 percent of cow slaughter and 38 percent of chicken processing. Each of these companies owns several different brands.

Thanks HSF, What’s not to expect–its food control and legitimate inflation from our failed economics.. I’m neither vegan nor paleo, but it’s a fact that Americans eat more meat than almost any other country on earth. We can eat less and still be healthy. Last year gardening I started shifting to planting more high protein foods. Those of us who can adapt will adapt, but pity those who can’t grow anything or are totally dependent on the Great American Food Chain. We must boycott and adapt not to punish the producers, but because it is good for our health and our finances.

I don’t know if it is age or what, but I never believed that, when I was younger. At least for me over the hill, I have learned I feel better with less meat and more green (or other colored) vegetables. I am certain it was the opposite when I was younger. It is so hard to feel good now, that I care less about taste and more about health.

It is less about the amount of meat and more about the variety of natural food sources that works for me. Staying away from stuff that might be glyphosate contaminated has worked wonders. I get skin rashes on my face if I eat processed carbs.

It really would not be hard for a dictator like Biden with a Politburo like he has now (ignorant Winkem, Blinkem and Nod?) to decide to nationalize all of the food industry to ensure “equity.”

The first video I posted is worth your time, if you can listen in the background and refer to the screen when compelled by the narrative. Stalin sent troops house to house in ALL of Ukraine taking food. The tore up floors and busted walls to find any morsels hidden away. Children disappeared and were eaten by neighbors. However, just like what is currently happening in our country, the courts were censored and such crimes were called something else.

Simply redefine the word: Self-defense = Vigilantism
Storing food = Theft

I watched it and think it an excellent video.

Some of my ancestors were named Yerger.

They left Germany in the late 1800s, already feeling some pressure about their Jewish heritage and customs. By the time they arrived at Ellis island, they were Catholic.

They assimilated and owned a neighborhood market in St. Louis. Their daughter (Martha Yerger) married a Vollmar, whose sons owned a construction company that built Six Flags St. Louis. The youngest daughter attended nursing college near Columbia, where she met and fell in love with a young agricultural student who decided to buy newly drained swampland in Southeast Missouri for a dollar an acre.

I asked a Christian Zionist pastor what played a greater role in God’s eyes about whether or not a person is a Jew: Bloodline or Religious Discipline.

What do you think he said? I really don’t feel very Jewish and was raised in a KJV Bible-thumping church in the dell, but he suggested that technically, I’m a Jew if I’m 1/8.

Well, how about it gets cancelled by the fact that Great-great granny Martha married an aristocratic German Catholic?

I think the sort of Jews most of us know and have known have little relationship to the power hungry servants of Lucifer masquerading as God’s Chosen.

Some famous philosopher who did not believe in God said something along this line: (very much summarized, but that was his point)

Why would any rational God bestow his favor to a certain ethnic group and call them Chosen People forever? It is, of course, a myth created by the Jewish people to convince other peoples of their Jewish moral superiority over barbarians. They became hated for their customs and rituals that set them apart from others.

And yet, throughout history you will find the Jew lurking somewhere in the background almost always being maligned and mistreated by some regime but never being destroyed. I do not believe in a God who would declare a Chosen People, and yet…
there is the Damn Jew.

The only Jewish people I ever knew were indeed devout. They lived next door to Nick’s parents and were polite but kept to themselves. They attended the funeral and told me a nice story about my Poppa G.

If most of the evil powerful people taking over the world right now are of Jewish descent, it is probably because the Jewish people tend to have IQs quite a bit higher than almost every other group.

In Commentary in April 2007, Charles Murray, the coauthor of The Bell Curve (1994), again made the claim that “Jews are smarter” than everyone else (Murray, 2007). In The Bell Curve, he and his late (and Jewish) coauthor, Richard Herrnstein, first presented their argument about the intellectual superiority of “Ashkenazic Jews of European origins,” who “test higher than any other ethnic group (Murray and Herrnstein, 1994). Jews in America and Britain have an overall IQ mean somewhere between a half and a full standard deviation above the mean, with the source of the difference concentrated in the verbal component.” Murray again makes the argument of an unmistakable “Jewish Genius,” in Commentary, but now with an explanation:

Insofar as I am suggesting that the Jews may have had some degree of unusual verbal skills going back to the time of Moses, I am naked before the evolutionary psychologists′ ultimate challenge. Why should one particular tribe at the time of Moses, living in the same environment as other nomadic and agricultural peoples of the Middle East, have already evolved elevated intelligence when the others did not? At this point, I take sanctuary in my remaining hypothesis, uniquely parsimonious and happily irrefutable. The Jews are God’s chosen people. (Murray, 2007)
From the NIH, by the way…
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3190562/

So, if our elite intellectuals and overlords are a bunch of money hungry thieves and liars, imagine how much more clever and dastardly the Jewish intellectuals are, since they are a full standard deviation above the best of us!

They may be Jewish, Yo, but they are really just evil men doing Satan’s bidding.

It should serve as a wake up call to those who are just beginning to understand that there is a serious problem looming that has nothing to do with economics or agriculture.

HF- The serious problem looming is that TPTB want to outlaw real food of any kind to be replaced with replicated gunk that they control entirely. First they poisoned the water with fluoride so people would buy their version of municipal tap water in a plastic bottle, now it’s every other foodstuff that they can convince you is taboo. God forbid that you raise your own food leaving them out of a monopoly.

Better than buying the beef for preparation, I can go to the Amish buffet and get a meal with a huge portion of roast beef (pot roast) with two vegetables/sides and homemade bread for $7.99. Same goes for pork and chicken so why cook? And why eat the garbage Tyson puts out for consumption?

Most city people are within an hour to an hour and a half from country meat markets, they COULD take the time to go and stock up or order meat from someone like you. I cringe at the Frankenfood at grocery stores which is pretty much all that is available unless you have 30 dollars to buy a small chunk of real meat in the meat counter. The frozen food section is full of nothing but faux food.

30% of the US population is on food stamps. Looks like that will be going up to 50% soon.

Don’t forget that all immigrants are given an EBT card.

Food inflation is good to them. They can finally reduce some fat from their huge waist.

Beans, particularly garbanzo beans, are easy to store and extremely nutritious. I have 200 LB garbanzo beans stored at home. Once sprouted, they become vegetables. Once cooked, they become something like meals. All beans must be organic.
