Y’all stop it. Yer makin’ fun of me. I suffered the most serious of strokes, day after Christmas 2016. I’m just kidding. Not about my stroke, but it’s pretty hard to hurt my feelins’. I’m 99% of where I was before my stroke if you disregard that I had to retire from my 6 figure truckin’ job. Now, I might be able to go back to that same company. If I successfully find that one doctor who does D.O.T. physicals, yet isn’t hooked into the network,where all my medical records are. See, it’s not a stroke that forbids a driver returning to the roads (I never had to surrender my personal drivers license). But if after your stroke, you’ve had seizures, then certainly they don’t want you out there. I had 2, nearly six months apart to the day. Since then, they dialed my medication in and I’ve been perfectly fine. I think there are maybe two people on here, that has been able to deduce my previous employer and they are absolutely a household name. I’m 110% with ya on making fun of Juicy Smollet as I suspect his exhaust port will become quite juicy to his liking in short order. But if any of you have suffered a stroke, you’ll know it’s awful for the person and their immediate family. Ok, back to it.
I think you’re wrong. I think it’s vile, as in disgusting, but I’m not certain. We’ll have to call Billy and ask him. Those were both, my lean years, along with some of my best years. No silly claim to frame, but I actually stood maybe 30 feet from him once in the 80s. He and his drummer came to a small drum shop in Nashville where I lived (in Nashville. I didn’t live at a drum shop. 😎) where because of the hit of theirs at the time, they had a contest called “the big beat-off”. The contest was for any drummer, professional or amateur who won this contest, got to sit in on stage with the band during their Nashville show that weekend. Me and Billy briefly made eye contact. I don’t know if he thought I’d be one of the participants or not. But that is but one of my near miss encounters.

I had two-strokes when I was a kid.
High-revving, narrow sweet spots in the powerband, had to keep ‘em on the pipe, else get stoved by a tighter piper swappin his 6 for your 12. The hills were alive with the sound of that music. And the smell, well, you could see it…flying machine factory olfactory heaven of combusted premix hung in the air like a velvet fog. Breathe deep, the gathering zoom.
Kids today are running four-strokes. A different aesthetic, a lesser music. Sounds more like hogs rootin’ than hornets zingin’.

Through our kids, and because I have taught chess to kids and coached my kids’ teams, I have met many hundreds of kids and many of their parents…I have NEVER heard of a child having a stroke..

I’ve already recounted to you what we were told by nurses when I was in the hospital a few short years ago, which by the way, the 5 year anniversary of my own stroke will be here in a matter of days. They told my wife both, that people are having strokes younger and younger (and this was pre-Convid) and about two weeks before I was admitted, they indeed had a kid, a ‘tween’ if I correctly recall.

I think there was already an article on TBP about it. The fact it seems to be happening more is not because of the vax oh no. I love the lengths they go to explain all these things to us.
