We are about to have more than 10 billion people…

Sounds like they are making the case for a mass depopulation event. Anyone have any idea how to make this happen?

How about an asteroid named after the God of CHAOS.

Shares his Greek name with a large golden mythological snake that every day attempted to eat the sun.

Might could be a contender!!!

Thank goodness they harvest umbilical cord cells and neither the cow nor the calf gets harmed, and I am certain they get to live out the rest of their days until natural death enjoying daily petting by all those researchers, all of which have a foreign accent (Russian, Eastern European, German). If you spend a million on a promotional video, would you not hire better spoken actors? Or does the international vibe add to the credibility of the video, since most of research slaves in the US are foreigners, having one 6 month contract after another, always dependent on a new grant being acquired using the lies of the research you have already completed, while smart American scientists choose profitable industry consultant roles rather than swing the pipette until the wee hours of the morning?

Oh wow. This is the abyss I saw before me as I got real close to jumping in after years of studying. I just wanted to do basic research. I didn’t connect the slave labor with the immigrant students accepting low wages and pushing out the white males in our country. I know professors wanted to work with me, but that was never the problem for me. The complete lack of integrity in the institutions is. I understand why universities used to have morality rules to at least remind people of what is acceptable to others.

I assume you are one who loves the science enough to put up with it for a while? In hindsight I think several professors tried to hint that real science is difficult to get funding for these days. Grant proposals read like extremely obsequious groveling before the oligarchy. Don’t worry, they have classes for that complete with “how to eliminate the risk of taking risks”.

They still haven’t addressed the complete cycle. I’m talking about shit.

If we humans eat shit, we die. But, why? MUST it be so?? I believe, not. Flies!!

Flies eat shit and don’t die. In fact, they thrive on it! They get all their vitamins, enzymes, and other good shit from … shit.

There must be something in their genes. Now, an enormous part of our DNA is what scientists say is junk DNA. I propose that Big Pharma — perhaps Pfizer or J&J — take the genes from the fly that allow it to eat shit and graft them into a section of human junk DNA. Not only will it solve world hunger but the disappearance of cow and pig shit will reverse global warming. And I’m sure they can make shit taste just like chocolate ice cream.

I’m surprised they haven’t thought of this yet.

I agree. I never agreed with the junk DNA idea from the get go.

From a religious perspective, if God created man then there IS a reason for every pairing on the double helix. God don’t need no junk DNA!

From a secular perspective, just because scientists haven’t figured out with a particular section does, or even doesn’t do (according to them), does not mean it’s junk. It just means “I don’ know …. yet.”.

Scientists! I used to respect them. But, they’re just as full of themselves (and often full of shit) with their biases and ego trips as any other regyoulah sociopath.

If they control the meat and the agri/vegetable/grain production, you will be even more dependent on corporations to sustain life. They want humans pinned up in stack and packs in human approved living zones eating synthetic food. Sounds great!

If we are nearing 7 billion people now, and they plan to off most of us down to a couple of billion, where do they get this 10 BILLION figure from. Something don’t add up?

Animals aren’t.

On occasion the grocery store where we pick up out of date food for the pigs will throw in some of the Beyond Meat products. Aesthetically they are just disgusting to look at- like the old ham and eggs C-rations from the 70’s- rubbery, cadaver colored blocks of whatever it is.

The pigs will not eat it, the chickens will not eat it and it doesn’t decompose into the soil like everything else, it just hangs around in their feeding area until it gets trampled into the soil.

We no longer open the packages, we just toss them in with the plastic waste and call it a day.

If an animal like a pig will not eat something, there is a reason.

They are not. They are just not ruined by conditioning. People have the ability to determine which foods are good for them, if they learn to listen to their bodies. You don’t even really have to think about it if it is working correctly. It is really easy to mess this up with processed food, though. I do it all the time, and I make an effort to avoid it.

I first noticed this when I was eating healthy and started to crave specific vegetables that I didn’t used to like. Others have told me similar things when I brought it up.

However, I always thought that making sausage with poultry was going way too far.

I am trying to decide on what kind of pig for a breeding pair. I have been told American Guinea Pigs are good and of course I’ve seen all the videos talking about KuneKune. But I just want some that will do well on pasture and slop and maybe some wooded areas that can get along with others.

And I will ask Maybe about Dexter cattle, because that sounds interesting. I would like to experiment with making dairy products, but I don’t want to deal with the fussy commercial breeds and making good meat too is a pretty solid deal, if it works.

Avoid the AGP and Kune. Both produce very small yields, are extremely heavy on fat and make lousy bacon. I’ve slaughtered both breeds for customers and they weren’t happy with the amount of meat they got from them. If you’re a baker and want lots of lard, maybe it’s worth it, but not if you’re looking for maximum return on your invested time and effort.

We run a landrace line now, but we started with Duroc and Old Spot to create our current breed. Really large, very friendly, great mothers with good sized litters and long bodies for maximum bellies and loins (bacon and chops). And great cold weather animals to boot.

I’m getting ready to smoke the bacon of one we slaughtered last week and the wet cured weight before smoking is over 50 pounds. Each ham was 40 lbs.

Don’t know where you are living and whats available but for us we’d get the long pink yorkshires out of Alberta. We’d get’m as piglets in the spring and process them in the fall when the cull season was over here.

So after six months they’d generally weigh in at 295 – 350lbs. They never got commercial feed and only ate the culls from the orchards and fields around us, plus whatever they rooted out. As small piglets we fed them cracked corn, barley and wheat, a mix, that would get soaked in hot water for about an hour before slop’n them.

We ‘d keep two hogs for ourselves, fresh and cured, both as tasty as smeg. Very little fat on any of the hogs, maybe 5 – 10lbs max. Tried wild boar here, and would never raise them again. Didn’t grow and very fatty, same diet as the yorkshires.

My credit union started out over 40 years ago serving one company location with 2,000 employees; now, after much consolidation with other credit unions, it serves God knows how many people. The pisser: now instead of the old fashioned “bricks and mortar” branch locations they call them “experience centers”-whatever the hell that means. And now apparently the experience centers are being abandoned for some kind of virtual finance world. Maybe “experience” is a buzzword that the kids who now want to run the world think has some kind of meaning. We often used a favorite phrase for that kind of thing in the past: getting screwed.

If you’ve had a “chk’n” sandwich at places like Burger King or Subway, you’ve already been eating fake meat. They have not quite gotten the texture right for steak, but they do it for chicken and fish all the time.

They take the pink slime (mechanically separated chicken or fish), which is basically the odds and ends of gristle, veins, blood, and bone scrapings, and dissolve the proteins in a chemical bath. Then, they add some sort of catalyst and spin the proteins into fibers, which are bundled and formed to resemble muscle tissue. This is reformed into chk’n breast, mcRibs, mcNuggets, and fishsticks, which are then fried with rancid veggie oil and served up to the fatties at the drive thru.

The beef version of pink slime goes into Taco Bell, hamburgers, hot dogs, and slim jims, and “meat”balls.

The saddest thing is that it is the kids that eat the most of this crap. Skool lunches, fake pizza, fast food, and ‘chef’ boyardee. No wonder kids grow up fat and stupid. They’ve never been given the proper building blocks to develop brain and body.

These asshats that are pushing this stuff are about as likely to “dine” on it as the ceo of McDonalds is to offer his products at his cocktail parties.

Back in the ’60s our school lunch program subsisted mostly on low cost food obtained from the federal government’s massive agricultural subsidy programs. Every so often we’d have the equivalent of “mystery meat” swimming in gravy and mashed potatoes, with corn or green beans on the side. Salty as hell. Tasted pretty good, though unlike anything home cooked. The biggest problem with the “meat” was the texture-soft with not much body-it could be cut with a fork, no knife needed. Thirty five cents; included bread with a big pat of butter and a desert-both made on site that morning. Extra milk was 2 cents for a half pint-the milk was packaged by a local, name brand dairy and was always fresh. If only the “meat” was as genuine as the rest of the lunch. There were no a la carte choices-you either ate the one thing they served or brown bagged it. On Friday there was a “fish” choice for the Catholic kids; the “fish” seemed to be another mystery meat-only ate it once. In retrospect, other than the “meat” the rest of the lunch seemed pretty healthy. For perspective, gasoline cost 15-23 cents a gallon (depending on whether there was a “gas war” going on) and a high school kid was darn lucky to snag a dollar an hour job in the summer. IIRC, my oldest brother bought a new ’62 VW beetle for about $1,800. Compared to today, I guess the good old days weren’t so bad after all.
