I have several serious questions about this speech … but, first you have to listen to it. (Seriously, if you don’t listen to it, then don’t flap your gums about it.)

I do like that he spoke of Jesus and that He is the savior of the world. However, I don’t know if it was, or was not, genuine. That will be between him and the Lord. I used to think Dubya was a sincere and righteous Christian. After all, he had a bible on his desk and he prayed, from what I heard. He also spoke highly of the troops, as does Trump, however, W. and the Bush cabal are all globalists and part of the NWO and are ultimately responsible for a lot of heinous acts. So, are the platitudes just more pablum for his base? IDK, probably.
Regarding his overall speech in that church, it moved my emotion meter not one iota. He basically rambled and as usual, he sounded like the man he has always sounded like — someone with no command of vocabulary or an ability so sound intelligent. He spoke of the same things he has in the past — MAGA. It is hard for me to get past what I believe him to be. Well, I listened. It was my first full length Trump speech. The short answer: I did not hear the gospel proclaimed. A simple, “Christ died for our sins” would have not just sufficed, but meant the world. Instead, lip service as per usual.
The longer answer: Trump says; “the life, death and resurrection of Jesus forever changed the world!” HOW??? People that believe “in” Jesus are not necessarily Christians. Jesus is the object of our faith. Christian faith has content too; an object AND content. The content being the gospel of grace given by the risen and glorified Lord Jesus to the lowly apostate Jew, Saul; who then, by Divine appointment, became the apostle of the Gentiles, Paul.

Near as I can tell Trump wants people to think for and stand up for themselves. He doesn’t seem to want sycophants. Which may be why he appears to submit to God’s authority. He is leading by example. Not a bad thing in my books.

I don’t personally like or dislike Trump. I’ve liked a lot of his policies politically and prefer to have someone in office who puts the Almighty ahead of himself. For Trump it is a rare moment of humility. He’s generally egotistical and brash but God puts people where He wants them at the time He needs them to be there. The bible is full of similar examples.
I think of it this way: I don’t know what Trumps relationship is with God. That’s between the two of them. But Matthew 7:15 says that you will know the tree by its fruit. So far, the fruit of this tree is about what I’d expect of a gray champion during a fourth turning circa 2021/22. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Using surfshark which I’m dumping once my subscription is finished. When I wrote to surfshark asking why they dumped Andy Gno when a known antifa liar lied about him, they replied basically… oh well…
So because of intermittent posting problems and the Gno thang, I’m suspect they are working on censorship algorithms or similar. Getting very near to dumping all tech, NONE of it can be trusted and there is very little you can do to avoid the tracking and profile building on you.
In this case, after getting it resolved with the admin, it was not a big tech algorithm. A benign problem that is now resolved.

Great comments all around. Didn’t devolve into a shit-fest … which is a bit of a surprise, especially since there are more than a few here who, while not necessarily gaga over Trump, still give him the benefit of the doubt. But, clearly, the majority here are Fed-Up with Herr Trump. Understandably.

5) … “Motivation” is another of those things-of-the-heart which is difficult to assess. But, Trump’s speech, while seeming sincere had a total lack of PASSION. There was no conviction in his words. He might as well have been reading a Jobs Report. Most of the time he never reads from a teleprompter. Right? But, now he does, when talking about God, for a mere 12 minutes? I’m pretty sure I know what it was … we all know, if we’re honest with ourselves ….. this was a political stump speech, with Jesus as the prop.
