Trucks still on the way, apparently. Check out this shitload of trucks from Saskatchewan. (One thing I’m curious about with this video, however: The trucks are taking up 3 lanes including two on the wrong side of the highway. They couldn’t just block all traffic in the other direction. It makes no sense to me.

There are four lanes on that road. The yellow divider is two lanes from the right side (as we look at it). They are using all the lanes of that road, three with trucks in the convoy and the fourth lane to allow the supply? trucks.
It will only change anything for the better if it inspires many others to stand up as well and fight back and the criminal public officials become truly afraid for their lives to continue to rape and pillage the masses of their hard earned money and individual liberties.
If not it will change nothing.

The biggest problem with reaching critical mass is the capacity for younger generations to be able to process information logically and rationally after being brought up in a world where everything is built around emotional solutions to hysterical problems, none of which are based on anything other than theories.

One of my good friends has chosen to ignore all news and all politics. It was the 2020 election and the “Big Lie” characterization by the media that did it. Being told all day every day that black is white and white is black was making him crazy. If you’re literally at the point of losing your mind if you don’t accede to the narrative, it’s a tough choice. I cannot choose to believe what I don’t believe, but I understand why he’s made a different choice. If you’re on the cusp of falling into psychosis, you have to consider that. He knows the mainstream narrative is all shit, but he’s chosen to ignore all news for his sanity’s sake. . He got his shots. He’s 59, overweight and with bad circulation problems, so the shots may have been a logical choice if it helped get him past Covid Classic to Covid Light. Apparently he now spends his time on Wordle. Wearing people down is what “they” are counting on, and it works to some degree.

The protest in my little town… Footage was taken from the beginning mostly and doesn’t show the age range well that showed up. The ‘protest’ was about three hours long… unheard of for here.
Like all sieges, it depends on who can outlast the longest. Commies don’t just admit defeat and step down willingly, so unless Justin’s hidey-hole can be found and he be trotted out Saddam style (surrounded by his adoring people and their love) it’s hard to bet on. A friend in Ontario was planning to drive 4 hours today to join the party, but reports this morning are that fuel is sold out along the way. Makes sense. Maybe all those trucks will become sufficient dead detritus in Ottawa.
What’s really interesting is that it takes semi-trucks to haul and deliver fuel to stations.
What else is interesting is that if those semi’s are disabled, mysteriously, it takes a semi rigged to tow truck to haul them away… and where would they tow those 5000 plus trucks to??? And what to do with the ones filling in the empty spots??
Here are a couple of descriptions I have seen of what the truckers want:
“demand it ends “all” mandates against Canadians and “respect the rights of those who wish to remain unvaccinated.”
“The immediate reversal of absolutely all extraordinary measures related to COVID-19. No mandatory masking, no vaccine passports and the reinstatement of every Canadian fired due to their vaccination status.”
This is a small victory in itself. The Right in general has such a hard time clearly and unapologetically declaring what it wants.
I hope they keep the pressure on until they win or force the Gov. to stop them.

My own version: the truckers already have made a big and useful difference. However, they are not going to win the war. The Trudeau regime might be forced to pull back slightly, but the demon isn’t dead.
If this gets going globally we might get some breathing space, especially with several European countries plus Mexico already returning to sanity.

HSF and I have had completely different experiences and perspectives…and that’s ok, no problem. There’s not one single answer…not everyone can drop everything and farm. Not everyone can afford acreage in a desirable area. So for those who can’t…they have to look at other options and other actions. I think he misses that point sometimes. It’s like someone trying to tell me how to be the perfect Christian. I do appreciate his input, however.

Those truckers…well they ARE building community with each other and they need all the positivity and support they can get.
It may take baby steps, but they are accomplishing something…together. They are sending a message loud and clear. What the end result will be? Who knows. But, I believe they’re on the right track…whether they’ve identified the true enemy or not. They’ll get there…with the right leadership.

Abbey- I too don’t bend in HSF and Arch’s direction…..let me tell you why. Back in the 70’s there was a nationwide truckers strike in the USA!USA!USA!, I PERSONALLY saw grocery store shelves completely stripped clean. Not just a few shelves in the stores….ALL the shelves in the stores. TPTB gave into them as they KNOW that after only 3 days with no food and no gas at the gas pumps, it’s all over but the crying. SERIOUSLY!
The best thing the Canuck truckers/citizens could do is give Justine an ultimatum or they ALL stop work in two days. Castreau should not have been in power to begin with and has now shown himself to be dangerous and despotic.
And I am for the most part stoic, so there’s that.

In the 1980s, the Federal Government tried to steal all the grain in several different grain storage facilities in the Southeast Missouri region. It was a foreclosure on the storage company and the Feds waited until AFTER harvest to close them down.
The bankers fully intended to get all that harvested grain in storage on top of the facilities to store all the new corporate farmers grain.
However, all the truckers in the region donated their trucks and their driving skills to make a midnight raid on all the storage facilities in the region and take all that grain up into these hills and hide it from the Feds.
It was awesome.
However, could they do that now? Hide hundreds of semi-trucks?

I believe real morale is achieved by a combination of discipline, confidence, and esprit de corps. If you have those it doesn’t matter what’s going on around you or how stacked the deck may be.

I can be negative just as much as anyone else, but I’m also not in a leadership position, nor do I want to be. I’d rather follow to be honest. But, apparently, you are viewed differently around here…where other Canadians read too, other Canadians who have suffered a lot and NEED to see some kind of hope to pull themselves forward.
We have no idea if we’re seeing false optimism or not. No one knows yet, so might as well stay positive and try to do everything possible to take steps in the right direction and change course as necessary…even if the entire system needs to burn. It won’t happen overnight.

Movements get co-opted, there are no exceptions. Anything that starts to take off that is genuine will be smeared- did you listen to Trudeau today? Violence, racism, white supremacy- that was how he described the trucker convoy and the media lined right up and went with that.
What they are doing- if I may be so bold as to observe- is an appeal to authority. Why are they in Ottawa? That’s the Capitol, isn’t it? Going there to ask for your rights back is a lose/lose proposition. If they went to seize the government it would be another story, but right now this is just a kid asking to stay up another hour. The government doesn’t need to repeal the mandates, they need to go to prison, disgraced.
But if my support is really that important, good job truckers for showing some backbone! All the way.

Pay attention to the truckers on the border….that’s gonna get ugly. It’s also not a smart move, never give your enemy an opening to attack you. Park the trucks but leave the road open, keep the pressure and don’t deliver the food and other necessities, wait them out and they will fold.

Technically true, but there are occasional mass expressions of collective will that possess their own inner driven strategic resolve that may/may not be known to the participants beyond a visceral level. This appears to be one of them, but as you said, someone may step in and claim top-down leadership of it. And more likely than not that person will not be organic in nature.
Interesting notion. Something akin to zeitgeist operating in the place of a structured hierarchy. I certainly don’t discount the notion. Things–and people–are far more connected than they may seem.
The thought that occurred to me when I read your response was that this is ultimately a war of attrition. The truckers can win that war–they hold the reality cards. But that type of war is brutal. a) Do they have the stomach for it? b) can any victory of such a war be anything other than pyrrhic.
Just underlines the points made throughout this thread:
-The trucker convoy is a good thing.
-It cannot save the system. The system MUST collapse.
Although the Machine anticipates this type of resistance, it is still worthwhile to push back in various ways as much as possible to keep them reacting, even if they have gamed things out. Nothing ever goes according to plan, so the Truckers just may introduce a wildcard spark here or there that induces the Machine to make a mistake, which could potentially compound into something they didn’t plan on and cannot contain. God willing, of course…
AP – I get it too… Hope deferred is a terrible thing and repeated deferring is hard to get past. I think we all know the dangers here the criminals know all to well they cannot let this succeed otherwise they are doomed.
They WILL throw everything at it to slander, smear, belittle, falsely accuse, direct violence at, etc… If they didn’t then THAT would be a matter of concern. Where these scum succeed is that we are most often reactionary so they throw up a shiny and it gets attacked, while they undermine our foundations. The push for getting everyone vaccinated, the DEMAND by force that people get vaccinated is part and parcel of a global tyrannical movement to destroy western society and culture to usher in the ‘Brave New World Order’ which is run by the central banks. The so-called ‘world leaders’ have been placed in their positions specificallyto ring in said NWO. They don’t act independently; they get their orders from the ones controlling the banks.

The best way to remove the mandates is to go on strike, keep the food and necessities off the shelves and settle for a removal of the mandates on the truckers. Too many fools STILL believe the government and they aren’t going to like being deprived by some ‘white supremacists.’

I was going to make a stand-alone post, but most of my thoughts fit better here.
First, this COULD work. That is saying a lot and amazing in itself. I have been saying for a while that Truckers are a forgotten lynchpin of society. Furthermore, they are independent by nature, but still a tight-knit community. You know, they’re all in the same boat. Alone on the roads for endless hours, all the fucking time. And they’re tough. It cannot be an easy life.
Most importantly, what they do is REAL. REAL stuff gets delivered on those trucks. The money and power of the “elite” is not real. It is as ephemeral as the wind. That does not mean it cannot be brought to bear on this situation or any other. It simply means that only the general belief in money and power makes it so. That belief exists, so the money and the power exist–for the time being.
That all said, I could not agree more that the system must ultimately fall. There is no going back. What this convoy may accomplish is the hastening of that process. It may also cushion the blow to some extent, as it may awaken people to reality and to the evil in the system.
I’ve said many times, people will have to suffer. I read a comment somewhere that a therapist had told this person “you will change when the pain of NOT changing outweighs the pain of making the change.” Maybe the individual can decide to change without that pain, but society at large cannot. The pain of maintaining the status quo must outweigh the pain of tearing down the system (adaptive valley). That is the only way forward.
That valley could be very deep and wide and there is no guarantee that humanity will cross it.
The trucker convoy could well be a first step in that crossing.
It feels like the movie ground hog day. As it happens again and again, a majority of the people find their expression in the trucker protest, but the lawmakers, media and the entrenched government employees who look on the turmoil with a bemused grin; knowing in the end, the power resides in their hands. They will take a mini vacation, just like Trudeau, and come back after the commotion dies down and apply the final tyrannical nails into the coffin.
I support the protest, but can see that the government corruption is total and will eventually rule the day.

For anyone with critical thinking skills, the last 2 years have shown us that what many of has believed for the last x amount of years (for me, ~13 years) that this is a worldwide cabal and it is all pointing back to the central banking system and those evil bastards behind it. (Behind them is ‘he who cannot be named!’).
It is also telling me that time is short — the Covid narrative has lost steam and is unraveling. Things are NOT going back to normal and we can expect another event(s) soon that is going to rock our world again and continue us down the path of complete tyranny and central control.
Local, local, local. As you said, we need parallel/alternative systems for everything. It is vitally important that the township or county that you live in has a sheriff that gets all this and will not allow state or federal control that usurps the constitution. We supposedly have that in my little town in NE Georgia, however, it has not yet been tested with a real trial. Each individual needs to have barterable items for when it all comes apart and the chaos ensues. “Beans, bullets and band-aids”, some silver, meds (can you say Canadian or Indian offshore pharmacy’s), liquor and tobacco, etc.
Brewer…you should go have a heart to heart discussion with your sheriff. We did that where I used to live. We explained actions that we were planning to take and asked for his support. He let us know what to expect, explained the risks, and where he stood. He turned out to be a supportive friend, but ultimately we didn’t win anything…didn’t have the numbers.
I have spoken with him (he was elected about a year ago) and did get into general discussions with him regarding the constitution, and his support thereof. More importantly, I have a friend that is part of a group that meet twice a month (a ‘gentleman’s club of the movers and shakers in my community) of which the Sheriff is a member. I was told by my friend that ‘SHTF’ discussions have taken place and that our sheriff, and 2 others in adjoining counties, could supposedly shut down the roads leading into our towns in 26 minutes. Whether this is actually true, or not, I don’t know but, I was glad to hear that these types of conversations have taken place.
I live in the suburbs of the sticks outside Podunk, Nowhere, between 5 and 10 miles from the Castor River where it winds through these low Ozark hills masquerading as mountains to the world, whereupon one hill’s top my log home sits.
We’ve owned the land for a dozen years, finding a rare deal by being persistent with a real estate broker who finally gave us the opportunity to buy this parcel she’d picked up over the years, thinking she might retire here. She also owned the treehouse lot, which we bought the following year.
People who thought we were crazy told us the treehouse purchase was wasted money (3 acres with the house 14K). Our builders lived in it (Mennonite family) during the work week and it saved us 45 thousand dollars from the next lowest bid. We put a couple thousand into it, but just enough to call it liveable.
I lived in that house for two months, carrying water up with me to heat on the stove. When the water line was trenched to the outside faucet, I ran a water hose up into the kitchen and had running water. It was fun ten years ago, but it would be a chore now.
Nick has now renovated the little house and insulated the walls and ceiling. The ranchers who bale our hay also blow insulation and we are going to put a good ten inches of foam under that floor.
It is Nick’s project and we’ve already had two offers for the house and a couple acres that go with it. Standing offers of 100 grand. As is, one of them (the gay dentist from Texas and his partner).
It ain’t for sale.
Nick works harder than anybody I’ve ever known except his mother, who worked herself into a very unhappy end and visited that upon the rest of us. I promised Nick’s Dad I would make the guy relax once in a while and once in a while I succeed. We have great times with our son now that he’s nearby, close enough to get here if he needs safe harbor.
The county sheriff lives a couple miles down the road toward Marble Hill from us and he’s already declared our county free of federal overreach.
We’re stopping them at Hogg Creek, is what I’ve heard.
I don’t think the country survives, but the truckers strike could wrench the control from some of the elite. While labor unions are a terrible thing in our own bloated industrialized world, they were once very necessary to keep the Robber Barons in line. But, then, the labor unions grew powerful enough to breed their own brand of robber baron, the union boss.
But, for a while, it made a difference and, perhaps the truckdrivers can rouse the masses and make them realize they are being played.
Some people will never admit they’ve been played, but some will and perhaps that will be enough.

A bill to allow that type of medical system to be legal has been introduced in Missouri but probably will never make it out of committee. Any medical system has to be licensed by the state board which of course is already controlled by a couple corporate health systems.

I’ve seen a couple of twitter posts saying Trudeau is threatening to seize all of the donated funds because it is supporting “terrorism”.
I don’t make predictions but what I think could happen is Trudeau will not back down because if he does he will lose any credibility he might have with the people that do support him.

As for Trudeau, he won’t willingly cave because that might cost him his job. I’d guess he’d try to send in the police or army to clear out the truckers, if they stay long enough to upset the billions of useless bureaucrats that infest Ottawa. However, if a few hundred of them strategically place their trucks across key arterials, remove their keys and a necessary thingamabob that makes them work, and walk off, saying their trucks won’t start, rinse and repeat over and over at the big shitties of choice (do it in Chicago and watch the ferals go wild when there is no fried chicken to be had), the govt will cave in fast. Shelves would empty and people would be rioting within days. And no amount of national guard or police intervention would fix it. A tiny fraction of truckers forming blockades would bring the country to its knees. Same thing if all truckers blockaded moving containers off of wharves. That might even be simpler.
No need to blackade. There is only so much wharf space and when its full… nothing moves. So truckers only really have to…. just not drive, period. The convoys are merely a visual to give people something to rally behind.
The call from the truckers is for all truckers to quit hauling and for ALL businesses to take back their businesses by removing ALL signage, plastic barriers and anything covid related, plus ignoring the masking etc… Its YOUR business, take it back.
When all trucking ceases… you do not want to be living in a city or near a city. Where do you think the food runs out first, where there is a propensity towards violence where the riots begin… you’d better have a few supplies because if you don’t… you are risking serious injury going to find supplies like the 10’s of thousands looking for the same goods.
