“Joe Biden” Wins World War Three

Guest Post by Jim Kunstler

Woo-wee, that was a close call, huh? But remind me: what was the war supposedly about? Protecting Ukraine’s hallowed border? Bwahahahaha…! Borders? We don’t care about no steenkin’ borders (especially our own border). Upholding the sacred honor of NATO? Really? Who exactly would be punished if the US tries to shut down the Nord Stream-2 pipeline that will send much-needed Russian natgas to gasless Germany? (Did you guess our NATO ally, Germany?) Would Germany suddenly discover that the pipeline is none of America’s business? I think so.

Anyway, what’s the beef in Ukraine? Its easternmost Donbas region has rebelled against administration by Kiev. At America’s direction, Kiev harasses the majority ethnic Russian population there with US-made weaponry. Yet Ukraine’s president Zelensky claims he doesn’t want to antagonize Russia, and certainly wants his much-stomped-upon country — the doormat of Europe — to not get stomped-on all over again in any hypothetical war. Ukraine is already an economic basket-case, supported only by CIA-sponsored grifting operations.

Enter Monsieur Macron of France. After two years of antagonizing his countrymen with lockdowns and put-downs, he needs a boost for the national election forthcoming in April. So, he has heroically sued Mr. Putin of Russia for a Ukraine “ceasefire.” Note: the Russians haven’t fired. Anyway, that opened the way for a proposed “summit” meeting between “Joe Biden” and Mr. Putin — when the Russians feel like it. They’re playing it a little coy for the moment, letting the West twist slowly, slowly in the wind. If a summit does happen, what will the two summiteers talk about? Mr. Putin will reiterate that the US and NATO made a solemn promise (in writing) to not expand NATO along Russia’s borderland in 1990 when the Soviet Union fell apart, and y’all reneged on that… and now it stops with Ukraine… really… got it?

“Joe Biden” will not have a coherent response. Maybe he’ll want to talk ice cream flavors or dogs. He is, as the Russians say, not negotiation-worthy, though he can be trotted out for photo ops. But “Joe Biden” needs a big win so he can brag on something in his State of the Union address. His Democratic Party is looking everyday more and more like some hell-borne spawn of Satan bent on wrecking what’s left of the old USA. Everything they’ve done since 2016 has degraded the life of the nation — weaponizing the “Intel Community,” queering a national election, besetting the people with race-and-gender mindfuckery, and inflicting the deadly “vaccines” on the population to “fix” the Fauci-created Covid-19 crisis. Never has the country seen a president so obviously incompetent and unpopular. The people backstage running him like an animatronic automaton are in a panic.

By default, then, the summit meeting will be game-set-and-match, Mr. Putin, only both parties will pretend that it’s some kind of moral victory for “JB,” while Russia gets exactly the terms it seeks: Nord Stream-2 will be completed and Germany will get natgas; there will be no additional stupid sanctions and get rid of the old ones; and the US will close up its CIA shop in Kiev and quit all the pointless antagonism. There will be peace in that corner of the world. And then, on cue, the West’s financial system will implode.

Yes, that’s what is actually going on in the background. That roar you hear is bad credit whooshing out of the banks. It looks like we’re going to get both a ripping inflation and a collapse of equities and assets all at once — with a side-dish of disappearing livelihoods, vaporizing pensions, and sinking standards-of-living. One surmises that all the meshugas over Ukraine was designed as a distraction from the financial disorders now at hand. The news media has faithfully played the Ukraine story to the max while ignoring the growing disarray in North America.

The Toronto Star barely even reported today on the weekend dispersion of truckers in Ottawa — like it never happened… a kind of national hallucination. The big rigs are gone from the streets around Parliament Hill, but one suspects the action isn’t over. Mr. Trudeau’s stupid vaxx mandates are still in place and every passing day more is known about their inefficacy and ghastly after-effects. Nor has the national legislature of Canada voted, as required, in support of the Emergencies Act — meaning that the financial punishments inflicted on the truckers and their supporters was arguably illegal.

Down here in the Land of the Free our truckers are marshaling for the Great US Trucker Convoy of 2022 outside of Barstow, California, to proceed eastward-ho Wednesday morning for our nation’s capital. The notorious fences are back up around the Capitol building. No doubt, the feds will try to shut down the bridges across the Potomac, but there are plenty of back doors into the District. Will “Joe Biden” resort to the same financial intimidation tactics that Mr. Trudeau pulled on his truckers — go after their bank accounts and confiscate assets? Let’s hope the US truckers learned that lesson from the Great White North and have made other arrangements. What if the DC police attempt an Ottawa-style beat-down against our badass truckers? To paraphrase the old American folk song goes: I wouldn’t want to be them on that dreadful day….

” . . . certainly wants his much-stomped-upon country — the doormat of Europe — to not get stomped-on all over again . . .”

In this regard Ukraine and Poland are a geographic unit, the hallway of Europe between east and west. The Germanics and the Rus have been fighting through, in and over them for centuries.

The current U.S. situation, which the administration is trying hide behind the smokescreen, is summed up nicely in paragraph in the article (reformatting mine):

“That roar you hear is bad credit whooshing out of the banks. It looks like we’re going to get

* both a ripping inflation and
* a collapse of equities and assets all at once — with a side-dish of
* disappearing livelihoods,
* vaporizing pensions,
* and sinking standards-of-living.

One surmises that all the meshugas over Ukraine was designed as a distraction from the financial disorders now at hand. The news media has faithfully played the Ukraine story to the max while ignoring the growing disarray in North America.”

I might add to the list of what we get shrinking IRAs–doubly so since RMDs are based on December 31 balances, and by the time we take market losses to fund those RMDs, we’ll have turned paper losses into real ones. THIS would be a great year to waive RMDs like Trump did for 2020, but it won’t happen. The socialists want to see our retirement savings shrink so we’re dependent on government. I’m sorry, but I have to revise the popular FJB to D,JB.

Not so sure about the IRA question. We keep hearing about plans to force us to hand over our retirement accounts in exchange for bonds or annuities. Never heard of a thieving Prog wanting to diminish their “score” before scoring. As for the rest, unfortunately on target.

Bayou Renaissance Man has put together some good exerpts from various authors….

Fascism comes to Canada. Next stop: the USA.

We’re watching an existential struggle for democracy in Canada right now, unfolding before our eyes…

I could spout on and on about what I think this means; but many others have been talking as well, and I think they’ve said what’s necessary. Here are a few of them, with snippets from longer pieces.

– When Fascism Comes To America, It Will Look Like Justin Trudeau’s Canada – Legal Insurrection.

– Trudeau’s totalitarian turn: The Canadian PM is desperate for his own 6 January moment – The American Spectator

– The Naked Face of New Normal Fascism – The Consent Factory

– The Fall of Canada, The Danger in the US: Understanding Martial Law – Naomi Wolf

– To Serve and Protect – Bitter Centurion (a former Canadian police officer)

And some information on the “People’s Convoy”….

We’re about to see this in action with the departure on Wednesday this week of the so-called “People’s Convoy”, from California to Washington D.C. (and from other points as well, all converging on Washington)….

The thing is, the powers that be in the USA are no more willing to tolerate this level of civil disobedience and protest than Justin Trudeau and his jackbooted thugs were prepared to tolerate it in Canada. They have to crack down on it, or watch as a groundswell of popular protest builds up until it overwhelms them. The only question is, how will they go about it?

One quick answer comes from traffic authorities.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is partnering with Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) to conduct a major enforcement operation next week.

According to AZDPS, Operation Southern Shield 2022 will take place from Tuesday, February 22, through Friday, February 25.

“The focus of this operation is to target hazardous driving violations, conduct commercial motor vehicle (CMV) inspections, and educate drivers on safe and compliant operation in an effort to reduce crashes involving commercial motor vehicles,” AZDPS said. “Non-commercial vehicles that operate unsafely around CMVs will also be stopped.”

The blitz will be conducted on Interstate 10 from Phoenix to the New Mexico state line, and on Interstate 19 to the international border.

“The people backstage running him like an animatronic automaton are in a panic.”

I doubt that. Their evil plans appear to be advancing splendidly. They hate us and want us dead or enslaved. Personally I have no intention of standing in front of a tank, or a horse, or injecting any of their poison into my body. They have no mercy, or honor. Best pick your battles with strategy in mind.

IMO, the truckers would do better to strike, than to stage a peaceful protest which will be falsely called an “insurgency” AGAIN. Looks like a set up.

Logistics and strategy. Have what you need to back up your plan.
I think targeted trucker strikes are an outstanding strategy. Stay home, save your $5 diesel and watch the Blue shitholes implode.

Being as objective as possible, the USA would never stand for the Chi-Coms or the Russians to supply Mexico with $billions$ in weapons targeting the USA and sending military advisors into Mexico. Look what we did in 1962 when Nikita was planting missiles in Cuba. Kennedy was ready to go to nuclear war over it. But we can supply Ukraine with hi-tech weapons targeting Russia and surround Russia with NATO forces without repercussion? I don’t think it works that way. Does Biden think Putin is Saddam Hussein? Time to fix our own problems at home and keep our nose out of problems 8,000 miles away.

The financial system will crash soon, but not the way Jimmy predicts.
In the next couple of days, Putin will recognize the Donbass region as a separate country allied with Russia. Donbass will then invite Russian troups in to help protect it against the Nazis in Ukraine. The US will then cut Russia out of the SWIFT system. Since Russia and China have already established an alternative to the US-controlled SWIFT, they will not be hurt. But the SWIFT alternative will give other countries, including the oil producing middle-east, a way to get out from under the thumb of the US. That will put the US dollar in free fall and crash our financial system in the west.

Mission accomplished and yet another instance where Joe can say: “I did that.”

It will play out just about you say. Biden is in such a weakened position politically, he cannot afford any kind of screw-up, and Putin knows it. Yeah, yeah, there are those threatened sanctions, but those tend of come with unanticipated consequences that may damage whatever is left of the world economy. And winter is cold in Germany.
There is a definite lack of enthusiasm by France and Germany to tangle with the Russians and, after all, Ukraine is not the hill anyone wants to die on. Better to cave to Russia, and to treat it as the triumph of peaceful negotiation over armed conflict.

When the fence is in place that would be the proper time to lock the uniparty inside until such time as they can demonstrate proper constitutional behavior..just thinking out loud,.
