my body is shot, but my mind still works

saw this today, how the internet is beneficial to older brains (scroll down to the paragraph starting with “Nicholas Carr’s 2010 book, The Shallows, compiles research showing what the Internet is doing to our brains”, if you’re in a hurry)
https://www.city-journal.org/ubiquitous-digital-media-threaten-to-erode-sensory-and-social-capacities

“For older people, the benefits may outweigh the damage. Their newly obtained devotion to the online environment is unlikely to cause serious harm to their life offline. For everyone else, though, the realignment of behavioral stimuli to digital stimulation with micro-rewards may endanger their well-being and even physical safety.”

“Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed – in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical – and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.”

Here’s a concept; instead of ad hominem attacks, why don’t you refute his teaching by citing scripture, in context, where he is misleading and in error? Not because you don’t like his conclusions, or his personal life, but where is he in error? Scripturally? Because that is what he is expounding; scriptural teaching with definitions and root words. Don’t attack the man, reveal why his biblical knowledge/application is in error. And not by someone else’s words – by scripture, because that’s where he bases his claims. Right? Wrong? Enlighten us.

Excellent. What most people do not realize is God allows Satan to exist for our spiritual benefit. We do learn more from bad than from good. This means Satan is part of the Spiritual Hierarchy. Yes, Satan does rule planet earth. He manifests his will thru our Global leaders. When you indulge in sin: lust, greed, anger, attachment and vanity. You are doing Satan’s will. How do we get by this? We do the opposite. We are forgiving, tolerant, contented, detached, discriminate, and humble. Once you understand this deep down in your Soul. You are on the road to spiritual freedom.

I used to hate snakes and anything that crawls and wriggles. When fishing as a child I had to put the worms on the hook with tweezers!

I only overcame this fear later in life, when I was counselled as part of my counselling training and it transpired that this deep-rooted fear had come from an experience in my cot as a baby and thus, unconsciously, I experienced a bigger boy dump a can of worms into my face. It only came out in an hypnotherapy session which we had to have experienced as part of our training.

There’s no telling what deep down fears are rooted in our early lives when we have no reference point to rationalise the experience. I understand that the common fear of spiders and moths/butterflies and birds flapping result in similar phobias.

The moral of the story is that nothing is really – real – is it? It is all in our troubled minds and rats too can be just images of a fantasy world because it didn’t really happen. In honour of Alfred Hitchcock Day, our critic ranks the legendary director’s 10 best:

My biggest fear is falling from a great height without a parachute.

I met a guy in the False Bay Yacht Club many years ago who informed me that he had fallen 500 metres after his parachute had got crossed lines or something – they call it a Roman Candle. He lived to tell the tale. Apparently he got away with a strained ankle – but was out for a enough time for his mates to arrive and pronounce him ‘dead’ because nobody could possibly survive this kind of fall and live – but he did!

Moral of the story: We all have Guardian Angels – if only we would listen to them once in a while – and I am as guilty as another. Although I always use ‘Parking Angel’ – works every time as long as you thank them after securing your parking spot. I have more experiences of this for another day.

Yes Pastor, interesting more than you will know; I must confess, for my sins, I was initiated into the Freemasons in 1987 at the behest of one of my most important clients of the day at: The Lodge of Honour 379 in Bath, UK.

Warrant No.379 dated 1825

The Freemasons refer to God as the ‘Great Architect of the Universe’.

I reached the 3rd degree as a Master Mason and attended ceremonies regularly until November 1990 when they carried me away to the funny farm after an extreme psychotic episode at work (burn-out). When I emerged in early 1991 (the Gulf War was on as I remember), I was diagnosed ‘Bipolar’ and given Lithium treatment for 5 years. Part 2 (Introduction) of my book, The Financial Jigsaw, explains a little of my background and is freely available as a PDF on request to [email protected] or can be viewed here:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/358117070_THE_FINANCIAL_JIGSAW_-_PART_1_-_4th_Edition_2020

The concept of God as the ‘Great Architect of the Universe’ has been used many times within Christianity. An illustration of God as the Architect of the Universe can be found in a Bible from the Middle Ages and the comparison of God to an architect has been used by Christian apologists and teachers. For example:

What does the Bible say about architecture? In EXODUS 25:8–9 “Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it.”

Turns out that Lithium treatment is potentially lethal and mind-bending at the very least. I know how zombies feel now! I was registered under the Mental Health Act but not sectioned, although it was threatened if I didn’t behave myself.

I had become a changed person, but as it turned out, it was for the better, as I was forcibly retired in 1995 from the computer company I had founded in 1985 and which my ex-wife bought me out so I could pursue a new career in counselling and go sailing as my first love. I always felt closest to my God (as I understand Him) when at sea, out of sight of land

My two eldest children joined my Ex to help her run the company on successfully and they recently sold out, for an undisclosed sum (NDA), to a major Swiss company. I eventually returned to sailing in earnest and finally ended up in Cape Town in 1999, where I met my second wife and we married in the False Bay Yacht Club, Simons Town on 26th July 2003.

We returned to UK in 2009 so I could sort out my finances and pensions, get my wife a British Passport (RSA ones are useless and often forged), which took 5 years and £8k by which time Yvonne had decided she liked it in Britain (clearly she is mentally disturbed) and I have been angling to get back to Simons Town ever since, as I always hated this place they call the UK with a vengeance!

Looks like I am winning the battle as we plan to return to Cape Town, in Q1 2023, unless we all get blasted to nuclear high heaven beforehand. So ends my first sermon!

Wow, Pastor those are powerful words and a revelation to me. Am I to understand then that Lucifer is actually the God of Light and Goodness and it is the God (Jehovah) that is working the evil in this world according to the Freemasons? Or have I read it all wrong?

I was taught that the secrets of the 30th degrees were not ever to be exposed and yet here we have initiates expounding on the very issues inherent at these levels?

And so, what should I make of this and what course should I take, because I have followed my guardian angel all my life and he has not let me down? I have searched many religions and studied the Bible under the guidance of JW for two years but have rejected their organisation as a cult, although I learned much about prophecy and Revelation.

I have also studied Gematria and have a book supposedly decoding the numerology inherent throughout the Bible and the significance of the triangle and the magic squares, the golden mean (in all of nature) and the equiangular. This is a special spiral, a self-similar curve which keeps its shape at all scales (if you imagine it spiralling out forever). It is called equiangular because a radial line from the centre makes always the same angle to the curve. [THE FIBONACCI SEQUENCE, SPIRALS AND THE GOLDEN MEAN.]. There is magic in number theory.

This is a true story: When I was 18 years old a group of us four, 2 male and 2 female, embarked on the Ouija board. We had been warned against it by my father who claimed to be psychic. We had several sessions, each giving more information from a constant spirit named Van Plando. She claimed to be a 15th century lady and when challenged as to who in the circle she was acting through she clearly identified Anita, one of the two girls.

She gave specific information during sessions lasting no longer within an hour and always ended with ‘tired’ and the glass returned to the centre and refused to move. At one point she said that I was in my first spirit life and that my guide was ‘Ralph’, a 17th century buccaneer, and that I should always listen to his guidance.

After some six sessions I pressed Van Plando to do something that would prove her reality and not be (as I suspected) the natural energy force of those present within the circle. I challenged her to move a cushion from one side of the sofa to the other.

She said she could do this but it was dangerous to all because evil spirits might intervene. She got agitated and the glass moved fast and at random spelling nothing of sense. Then she spelled out quite positively a local telephone number to call and then went dead and refused to move. I logged the number. After this we could no longer summon Van Plando.

However that very night, while all were asleep in Anita’s family house, the pelmets over the windows in the lounge were ripped off and cast to the ground. She reported to us the event and we became fearful.

I went to my father and explained what had happened – he was horrified but agreed to call the telephone number. It turned out to be a spiritualist in a nearby town who advised to never do such a thing again.

Being adventurers at the time, a few months later, we tried again with another different couple, the female was named Diana. The glass moved freely and claimed to be called ‘Sel’ and when challenged to extinguish the light ( a candle) the glass moved and pushed the candle off the table, extinguishing it. She said the name was short for Selena which we checked:
“What does the name Selena symbolize? The name derives from the Greek word Selene, which means “moon goddess” – yes, Selena’s name literally means goddess.”

We never did this again, ever, and have been warned on several occasions to leave the whole thing alone – which we have, but I don’t regret the experience and I do not seem to have had any ill effects.

So, what say you?

I just typed for an hour and the page reloaded. All gone. Long answer. My number is five oh eight four four six seven one oh three. Please feel free to call me any day between 11 and 2 central time. I’d very much like to speak with you.

You’ve been involved with some scary stuff that’s all to real. Freemasons are Luciferians who believe falsely that satan is the good guy feeding man information God did not want us to have. They couldn’t be more wrong. They believe a lie told from the worlds beginning.

Genesis 3:4-5 KJB… “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

Satan is a deceiver to his core. We are the most fortunate generation of people to have ever lived, with a perfect and complete word of God at our fingertips. Allow me to show you HOW to read it. And then, you can study it for yourself to see if these things be true.

They are building the false kingdom right now. It’s happening all around us. There is but one way out and it couldn’t be more simple! I look forward to having the opportunity to speak with you in person.

Simple Salvation

I would love to speak with you Pastor and thank you for your telephone number. I use Skype all the time around the world. Is it possible that we could link this way? I am on Skype at “Peter Underwood” but because of the time difference (I am in UK), EST is some 5 hours behind me.

This keeps me chatting on TBP well beyond midnight my time most evenings! So – what I usually do is email my contact or you email me when ready and I switch on. For example, I speak with Gerry in Brisbane at my time 0600hrs most weeks (Mondays being generally quiet) and a quick email tells me he is ready.

Or, give me a ZOOM too – which ever you prefer. I feel that I am making progress now that you have spoken and I am most grateful for your concern.

That’s great Pastor, my wife ZOOMs all the time as do I. Just get your wife to send me here a link and we can team up! We do need to get our times right though – you say you are central time: That means you are 1600 hrs now and therefore 6 hours behind me – it is 2200 here in UK.

So, let’s think – my 1500 is great for me which will be your 0900 – is this too early for you? I can go to one hour more – 1600 making it 1000 with you as we eat at 1800 supper time. How does this sound? I am out and about tomorrow (Friday) but here all weekend – so Saturday at your time 1000 would work? If OK, I will diary it and make sure I am online (I use a laptop for ZOOM and Skype). Your wife needs to email a link to my private one : [email protected] and copy to: [email protected]

Can this work?

That is a wonderful sermon, Pastor, thank you and I have book-marked it and will read and re-read it in due course. I am sure we have much to discuss for I have this inner feeling that time is short and that salvation is at hand.

2 Corinthians 6:2 KJB… “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”

Right now, right where you are. There is nothing you can do; indeed, trying is an insult to a Holy God who offers salvation freely. It is a gift, there for the taking!

Most are too proud. Don’t be one of them.

I swear that I lost both engines just past the south overrun (Winter 1971 Moody AFB Ga) at about 300 ft on take-off and was too low to bail out when a clear voice “from the blue” told me to check my Boost Pump Switches; I did and one was off (the Fuselage Pump, there were 5 fuel pumps on the T-41); so I switched it on and immediately the red no fuel pressure light went out, then the yellow low fuel pressure light went out so I pushed my throttles forward and praise God the engines still had flame and all the needles started spinning the right way; I lived to tell about this miracle. About 8 years later, I was working on my almost two story roof in Arvilla ND and fell off; I realized I had to do a half flip or land on my head; then I felt a gentle breeze lift me up and set me on my feet on the middle of the roof. I stood there shocked knowing that could not have happened but it did; I went to my knees and thanked the Lord for His miracle that no doubt saved my life. There have been others and I know one miracle was confirmed by Jesus through a visiting Paster who knew nothing about it himself. I love the movie “Heaven is real” about the boy Colon because I think that is how Jesus and Heaven really are and how a lot of things do happen.

I am with you rhs jr. I have lived a charmed life being a risk-taker and adventurer of sorts and got into all sorts of pickles; at sea especially where I spent many happy days/weeks. Then in the air, when training for my PPL. I have had 6 car accidents – walked away from them all without a scratch.

As well as smaller incidents during climbing (Snowdon), motor racing in 1976 (Formula Ford) and losing the front suspension at Silverstone and running out of fuel on the grid at Brands Hatch (the team were so excited having got pole position for the very first time, we forgot to re-fuel); but had we gone off, we would have been in an horrendous crash at the first corner.

Too many miraculous escapes to list – I have always felt that I was being preserved for something, but in all my 77 years – I have never figured out what it might be – I just roll with the times.

Ditto and I’m afraid the test is just ahead of us involving the things of Revelation, The Four Horsemen, A Brave New World, 1984, the UN NWO Plan, WEF, planned Fiat money destruction, engineered Famine & Plagues, Chaos & civil wars, world wars, and overdue Natural Disasters etc. I’m afraid it’s more a measurable academic fear now than any kind of gut feeling; and judging how miserably ignorantly the Goy behaved with the Wuhan virus and CV-19 Genocide Scamdemic, the Human Herd has a collective IQ of Wildebeest or Lemmings .

Oh yes rhs jr, you list everything correctly in my world. I do believe the test is ahead of us, but be not afraid – pray and ask the ‘Great Architect of the Universe’ to comfort and guide you – knowing with certainty that your guardian angel is with you always. I communicate with the universe every morning at dawn and ask for forgiveness for my transgressions, and for guidance of the day to come:

The majority of the people, as you say, the’ Herd’, have no inkling of the presence of these ethereal entities and therefore are lost in materialism and low vibrational energy as Satan has dictated – they are indeed lost souls.

I must be ever grateful to have been given this insight at an early age thanks to my father – a psychic and great human being who gave me priceless gifts and yet offered no material gain for me when he left this mortal coil. But no matter, because I didn’t need any material inheritance anyway, for I had secured the greatest thing that any amount of money could never buy.

The greatest fear has to be falling into the hands of an angry God and being sent to Hell. The second greatest fear would be anything that would cause that to happen. I have tried to be a Soul winner and found that to be a hard job, but persuading another person to do anything right is a hard job. However, if the Evil Doers want to come for US, I am so ready to take my risks to hasten their meeting with the Just God.

A popular US song during the Second World War, written in 1942 by Frank Loesser. It was based on words said by a US Navy chaplain (= priest) during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

‘Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition!! ‘ began as a rallying cry repeated by Lt. Howell M. Forgy, chaplain aboard the USS New Orleans (CA-32), who shouted the future song title during the attack to urge the crew members to keep up the fight.

Perhaps we all need this spirit now that we are under attack from the forces of evil? Coming in on a wing and a prayer:

Maybe that passage about turning the other cheek is deceitful in that some liberal writer put those words into Jesus mouth. I can believe Jesus saying forgive 70 X 70; or quoting Proverbs that a soft word turns away anger; or go an extra mile; but to require His followers become laughing stock and punching bags for scofflaw, no; to ask every follower to sell everything and become a beggar , no; to take up your cross and follow Him before He was ever even Crucified, no; to drink wine and eat bread as though it was actually Transformed magically by a Priest into His Blood and Flesh (Pagan cannibalism for real?) in the front of a church like some Barnum & Bailey Show or ancient Roman Kabuki Theater, or Religious Cult, no.

Or perhaps, God actually wrote a book that tells the tale of humankind from beginning to end with His plans of salvation for both heaven and earth; and it’s our job to come to terms with it.

There you go again: God didn’t write the Bible and that is obvious because God knows Science and the Bible writers don’t. God didn’t even dictate it; He didn’t even expound Truth at various times to hundreds of men who then wrote it. He didn’t inspire hundreds of books to be written and then some scribes picked just the right ones to include in the Bible. Jesus has The Plan and if anybody fully comprehends all the reasons and details as outlined in the New Testament (why sacrificial blood of animals and of a man, why Israel of all places and cultures, why so many myths in the NT; why 2,000 yrs ago and so much is unknown, disputed, and so much controversy), I’ll sell everything and follow him. Yes our job is to come to God’s terms; Paul said we have to work out our own Salvation in fear and trembling per se, it’s not so just follow the Bible recipe cookie cutter simple as churchers say. Vaya con Dios.

Oops, I’m an idiot sometimes; there are a hundred plus prophetic verses in the Bible (like Is 53) so God must have communicated the information to the Prophet somehow; my most likely guess is an Angel verbally told the Prophet in a Day Vision something like “Son of man, look and write down what you see…”

Stupid people. They are unpredictable, illogical and often without the understanding to avoid creating danger for themselves and others. One managed to kill a friend of mine and himself.

At least evil tends to be logical and have a sense of self preservation.

At the risk of having someone laugh or DV, I will share. I’m terrified of losing my faith in God again. That doesn’t mean I will ever set foot in a church again. That’s part of why I lost faith.

Churchianity will do that to ya. Read Romans 1-8 and don’t worry if you fail to understand the Jewish stuff. Mine the gold out of those words and realize that when God gets ahold of you, He’ll never let go. It’s not “your faith” that is rested upon or “your faith” which saves you, it’s what God did for you that you either trust, or not.

Galatians 2:16 KJB… “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

Galatians 2:20 KJB… “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

The faith of Jesus Christ: died for our sin, risen for our justification! It is finished, amen!

Jesus lives and is always aware of us and concerned about us but there are “Spiritual Rules” keeping us “in the dark per se”. So keep talking to Him; one day the veil of confusion and doubts will be gone and we will be able to know Him person to person, if we keep on trying “until the end”. Keep trying and I am convinced He will never let you go “over the edge per se”. I was there once and He came and put His arm around me, and saved my life, although I didn’t realize that is what had happened at the time. A lot of writers have put words in Jesus’ mouth but I believe He did say “I will aways be with you”. Vaya con Dios.

Cease to hope and you will cease to fear.

-Hecato

The key to discarding fear of every stripe is to live in the present.

“True happiness is to enjoy the present without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied, for he that is wants nothing. The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not” — Seneca
