The Six Worst Quotes From Vice-President Kamala Harris

Via Blue State Conservative

In this installment of their weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative reflect on six quotable disasters from our embarrassingly stupid Vice President Kamala Harris.

Honorable Mention: Whatever she said, but especially how she said it, in this promotional NASA video. Hilariously awful!

#6: “Ok – **giggle, giggle** – A friend in need is a friend indeed.”

PF: While in Poland on Thursday, Harris broke into that strange cackle of hers while discussing Ukrainian refugees. There’s a time and place for virtually everything, including laughter; but VP Harris clearly has difficulty determining such moments. A great example of when it’s not the right time to start giggling is when you’re in Poland discussing the war that’s raging in neighboring Ukraine and a reporter asks about your plans for refugees. There is nothing funny happening in Ukraine right now, and there’s not much that the folks in Poland find humorous either. Here she was in Poland dodging a question and laughing so uncomfortably it is painful to share a country with her.

Kamala isn’t particularly intelligent – which is a problem when we’re discussing our nation’s Vice President. She’s also extremely awkward; she’s strange. We saw it on the debate stages during the Democratic primaries two years ago when she turned people off as her presidential campaign crashed and burned. But those situations were inconsequential. What she did on Thursday wasn’t.

#5: “I am here, standing here on the northern flank, on the eastern flank, talking about what we have in terms of the eastern flank and our NATO allies, and what is at stake at this very moment, what is at stake this very moment are some of the guiding principles…”

Parker: While we’re on the subject of Ukraine, here she is again. It boggles the mind how this is the person we are stuck with representing American interests and maintaining a public-facing presence. After declaring she had never been to Europe, we certainly wish that had remained the nature of her travels. She is so inept and clueless when it comes to military foreign policy that it is cringeworthy just picturing her discussing logistics, responses, and diplomacy with real politicians and real thinkers and actually consequential decision makers.

Just rereading that quote makes it obvious that she tried her hardest tio follow along to the dumbed-down cliff notes version of her briefing during the transatlantic flight. “Now, Kamala, this military term is ‘flank’ and it refers to a position on the battlefield…” So there she was, up on stage and pretending to know what she was talking about. Northern flank – err, eastern flank – what we have in terms of the eastern flank. We get it. You don’t have a clue.

#4: PF: “Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.”

This exchange was just bizarre. Two weeks ago, after being asked by a radio host to explain in “layman’s terms” the situation in Ukraine, Harris showed that she thinks ‘laymen’ means kindergartners. The radio show is called “The Morning Hussle,” and after the host asked the question, her response was just weird. And it’s worth noting – she didn’t come across like she was trying to talk down to anyone, and she certainly wasn’t being sarcastic. She was totally serious.

This is another example of Harris’ awkwardness. Who thinks like this? Does she not interact with normal people enough to know that she doesn’t have to talk to them like their children? It seems to me that she simply lacks basic social skills. She doesn’t know how to interact with normal folks, and she doesn’t know when to laugh and when to be serious.

#3: “It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day. Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down.”

Parker: When one thinks of sensible public health policies for combatting infectious disease, nothing sparks inspiration like the Winston Churchill-esque wisdom, fortitude, and clarity from a venerable policy maker such as Kamala Harris.

This particular quote came from Harrius in mid-January while the United States was at once clear of the Covid hurdle and blasted by ridiculously-high Omicron cases. Omicron proved that nothing Fauci or anyone else did mattered (be it masks, vaccines, lockdowns, distancing, etc.), so the correct answer from Harris would have been “it’s not the government job to interfere with private medical decisions and personal responsibility” – but since she’s a leftist the government HAS to do something. That’s how you end up with a lot of words conveying absolutely nothing:

Didn’t the people of color see through her bullsheeit after they learned her ancestors were slaveholders and that she married a rich white dude?

Who is the bigger fool? Kamala, or the person who does not understand she is an actor?

Cut her some slack: she seems to understand “the thing”-just like her boss.

There really isn’t much difference in her life now, compared to what it was like before she went into politics.

She is told exactly what to do by depraved degenerates, in exchange for money.
