To the best of my knowledge Russia is legally preparing (or maybe now has prepared) to nationalize plants from companies in Russia who suddenly stopped them and left. But that hasn’t happened even once yet.
There were also talks of declaring Force Majeure and converting all outstanding debt into Rubles, per Russian law.
But yesterday Russia even made a dollar (!) bond payment, $117 million.

This entire fiasco is showing the world just how stupid the average American is. Pathetic. I’m getting to the point where I’m wanting these assholes to just get what they’re wanting, because the US will get cut down to size if that happens. Pretty crazy when you trust Putin a hell of a lot more than the SOB’s in our government.
