A bill recently placed before the Rhode Island legislature contains clauses that would make Covid vaccination mandatory for everyone over the age of 16, and double state income tax for all parents who refused to inject their children with Covid the experimental Covid “vaccines”.
The bill, titled “HEALTH AND SAFETY- IMMUNIZATION AGAINST COVID-19 ACT” and introduced by State Senator Samuel Bell lays out in S1 (a) and (b):
(a) Every person of at least sixteen (16) years of age who is eligible for immunization against COVID-19 and who resides in the State of Rhode Island, works in the State of Rhode Island, or pays personal income taxes to the State of Rhode Island pursuant to chapter 30 of title 44 shall be required to be immunized against COVID-19.
(b) Every resident of Rhode Island eligible for immunization against COVID-19 who is under sixteen (16) years of age or under guardianship shall be required to be immunized against COVID-19, with the responsibility for ensuring compliance falling on all parents or guardians with medical consent powers pursuant to § 23-4.6-1.
And then details stringent financial penalties in S1(e) [emphasis added]:
Any person who violates this chapter shall be required to pay a monthly civil penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00) and shall owe TWICE THE AMOUNT OF PERSONAL INCOME TAXES as would otherwise be assessed pursuant to chapter 30 of title 44.
This is by far most punitive “anti-vaxxer” legislation we’ve seen (so far). Even if it does not pass, it shows us that the Covid agenda is still very real, and they are not even close to done trying to bully people into compliance.

Every person that supports this bill should get a visit in the middle of the night from the citizens of the State of Rhode Island and what happens when you visited them is up to you of course.

My understanding of the law is that no law may be ratified, codified, enforced and adjudicated if that law is in violation of the Constitution.
14th Amendment-
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
POTUS says no amendment is absolute.
The Constitution is a worthless piece of paper. And thinking we can vote good people in and that our vote matters is useless. The veil has fallen and we can all see for what it is and always has been- an illusion.
You are right but so what? I would love to find the country that abides by the US Constitution and move there.
I see what you are driving at with the equal protection clause as far as taxes go, but that isn’t even applicable today. No one’s taxes are equally applied – there are, and will be, favored classes of people that are rewarded for doing as the gov’t desires (buy a Tesla, get energy efficient house improvements, etc) and those that are not.
They are more than likely violating the Constitution by taxing those who do not get the jab, but could easily raise taxes for all and add a tax deduction for those who did get the jab and it would be acceptable to the courts.
The ‘law’ is what the enforcers say it is.
The law makers, and the judges are owned… an not by patriots. They WILL take your property thru taxation when they deem the time right…

That is true. But, who is going to nullify the law in a totalitarian state like Rhode Island?
Well, Rhode island is a Democrat Shithole state. This story line is just another reason any places up North or out West with Democratic super majorities should be called shitholes.
