Top Pentagon Official Resigns Over Threat of Technological Warfare

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Chief Architect Preston Dunlap resigned from his role at the Pentagon, citing the threat of technological warfare. “The System is generally set up to pull everyone and every idea down to the status quo,” he said. “Driving changes requires defying gravity,” Dunlap stated in his recent eight-page letter. His plan of action “to fight the beast of bureaucracy” are as follows: “1) shock the system, 2) Flip the Acquisition Script, 3) Just Delivery Already, and 4) Slay the Valley of Death and Scale.”

This now former top Pentagon employee believes that the US has already lost the technological war with China, and that the nation has been too preoccupied with competing against each other rather than overseas “adversaries.” Dunlap’s ominous letter focuses on more than just his Pentagon colleagues. China’s private tech sector has surpassed that of the United States’ military. “These are accessible to anyone with resources and academics and capabilities, and so our adversaries or potential adversaries are able to have access to that technology, not only inside their own economies, but because of the benefit of our free and open society, which is a great thing,” he stated.

The Department of Defense (DoD) has long been criticized for failing to advance technologically. In the DoD’s report Military and Security Developments Involving the People’s Republic of China”  from 2021, they admitted that China is aiming to become the leading “intelligentized” [sic] military in the world:

“The PRC has continued its aggressive, top-level push to master advanced technologies and become a global innovation superpower. The PRC seeks to dominate technologies associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution; this push directly supports the PLA’s ambitious modernization efforts and its goal of becoming a “world-class” military capable of “intelligentized” warfare.”

In terms of “technologies associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” this goes along with what has been indicated long ago – the next world war will not be fought with guns. China has a goal of achieving “the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” by 2049, but our models indicate that may happen a few years earlier.

If anything, I see a Chinese internal revolution taking place at some point. Look at Shanghai currently and the enormous housing market that will crash, ripping the life savings away from millions of the Chinese middle-class.
When people lose everything, they lose it….as Gerald Celente is fond of saying.
China is too corrupt to succeed at world domination.

Are they really any more corrupt than we are?

Uh, right, because the enormous housing market crash did that to the US as well, and everything Western propaganda is spewing about Shanghai, with a few videos showing very little, is completely true.

Somehow I miss your accounting for the shape of the societies [of China, Russia, and the US/West].

“enormous housing market that will crash”

Stop with the fucking nonsense. Money has no power than isn’t granted at the barrel of a gun…ie government. Government creates the money, inflation, credit and recession. The housing market will crash only if the CCP decides it need to crash. Do you actually believe that the stock market crash of ’29 directly leading to a era of depressed economy was really muh free market at work. If you do, buy more gold, bruh. They can never take that way from you. Muh capitalism…reeee

“ World War II ended the “depression.” The same Bankers who in the early 30’s had no loans for peacetime houses, food and clothing, suddenly had unlimited billions to lend for Army barracks, K-rations and uniforms! A nation that in 1934 couldn’t produce food for sale, suddenly could produce bombs to send free to Germany and Japan!… Germany issued debt-free and interest-free money from 1935 and on, accounting for its startling rise from the depression to a world power in 5 years. Germany financed its entire government and war operation from 1935 to 1945 without gold and without debt, and it took the whole Capitalist and Communist world to destroy the
German power over Europe and bring Europe back under the heel of the Bankers. Such history of money does not even appear in the textbooks of public (government) schools today. ”

This is probably correct. Many people believe the pundits on TV or those that have a financial stake in the belief in the ‘info’ they spout. The fact is that China is not nearly as advanced, on the whole, is fractured amongst clans and is continually rioting on the ‘small scale’ for a population of over a billion people.
The Chinese economy seems to be something almost no one understands. There are numerous microeconomies within the country. Those that are almost capitalist keep the country afloat and actually provide for the rest of the nation. This is the reason China, for all its posturing, needs the US to stay in a position that provides for dollar strength.
While China has been trying to pull away through the Belt&Road, they found that land routes were unattainable. the countries are rough, with few resources for construction and no infrastructures. China then took to the seas to use seas and ports as their road ways. However, none of this is for global trade; this is all because China needs to funnel resources into the gaping hole that is their country. One billion is too many to support. This is why they try to offload them everywhere. Every country is becoming aware of this and, in the end, China will have only the option of force to take the resources from around the globe.
This is an inevitable end and why many retired US military have said over and over that the west will end up fighting them sooner or later.

China’s ethnostate allows them to work together, toward a single purpose and against enemies while our multi-cultural garbage heap with affirmative action promotion and queer idolatry creates malfunction and laziness.

I understand well that there are many things he is not allowed to talk about, but ex-Chief Architect Preston Dunlap should not end up delivering entirely incoherent ramblings only.
