Disney is an evil entity run and staffed by Satanists.
No business in the service of evil should get
anything from the state except expulsion.

Desantis should fire each and every Disney employee, no exceptions, and replace them with graduates from Bible colleges and/or people who speak in tongues. Now, with that out of the way …..

…. a fun short little video for those interested in what happens to the billions of $$$$$ in military equipment Dementia gives to country 404.

It would be a little tricky for the governor of Florida to fire employees of Disney. Government with authority over hiring and firing of employees of private business? What could go wrong?

Word going around is that De Santis may have just bailed out the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID). It has USD $1 – $2 bln in bonds coming due and has had its cash flow throttled for the last two years. There is nothing stopping RCID from draining its funds and just up and declaring bankruptcy. That would likely put both Orange and Osceola counties on the hook for the bond payments as RCID would dissolve back to these counties’ jurisdictions. The Culture War, just like nationalism, can often be a smokescreen for underlying machinations. We’ll see who laughs last a in a couple of years.

Not unless the county was party to the Disney bonds, otherwise the Disney property would be sold and proceeds used to pay bond holders. I guess you are saying politicians screwed the voters; maybe some investigations are needed. If the county is on the hook, don’t let the property go to Wall Street crooks cheap; let the county turn it into a paying park for their taxpayers.

Yeah, sounds like if that happened, Disney World would belong to the state of Florida or the involved counties. New signage, new policies, and bingo: Welcome to Florida World, the new and improved family friendly theme park.

Exactly. These are all contractual. Unless the counties in question were involved in the bond issuances, they hold no risk. The bond holders will be the losing parties if Disney fails to pay, in that case. On the flip side, even if the counties were party, if Disney fails to uphold its obligation, they now open themselves to other legal problems with the counties. Disney will wind up eating it anyway. This is all propaganda to make DeSantis look bad.

Gov gets it’s end always.
First at the trough is the Feds, then the State, then the counties, then any municipalities.
After all that is when the bondholders get theirs.
Remember, everybody kicks up to the next level and the Feds always get theirs, so.

As pessimistic and suspicious I am of all politicians and tech big shots I must admit I find myself rooting for De Santis and Musk. By no means am I all in with these 2 but they are making sense and breaking new ground against the monsters. Hope? Yeah, I suppose so.

Let’s see. Immoral company that pretends to be innocent entertainment for children is in bed with politicians who pretend to have the best interest of the people at heart. Then, lone politician comes around and pretends to clean up. I can’t shake the feeling that nothing has changed.

“ The basement, Andrea said, held as many as 16 children and teenagers of different ethnicities. She remembers that it was underneath a house in an upper-middle-class neighborhood on the West Coast. Throughout much of her captivity, this basement was where she was kept when she wasn’t working. ”There was lots of scrawling on the walls,” she said. ”The other kids drew stick figures, daisies, teddy bears. This Mexican boy would draw a house with sunshine. We each had a mat.”
Andrea paused. ”But nothing happens to you in the basement,” she continued. ”You just had to worry about when the door opened.”
She explained: ”They would call you out of the basement, and you’d get a bath and you’d get a dress, and if your dress was yellow you were probably

>>going to Disneyland.” <<<

She said they used color coding to make transactions safer for the traffickers and the clients. ''At Disneyland there would be people doing drop-offs and pickups for kids. It's a big open area full of kids, and nobody pays attention to nobody. They would kind of quietly say, 'Go over to that person,' and you would just slip your hand into theirs and say, 'I was looking for you, Daddy.' Then that person would move off with one or two or three of us.''

There is absolutely no legal reason for the taxpayers to assume this debt…make Disney pay it, or foreclose on Disney world if they won’t (not a chance!)…

There are certainly a lot of questions about this that need answering — most of what you say was posted days ago when this was still a ‘work in progress’ …

The taxpayers need to be protected … the children need to be free of these influences … and, as you say, it all goes back (as always) to (((the usual suspects))) …

Yes, once Disney involved itself in Florida politics. Had they involved themselves in a manner pleasing to the people in power this would not come up. Since they involved themselves in a most displeasing manner the people in power are behaving in an entirely appropriate manner.

Government only exists as a means to provide protection, subsidy, etc to big business interests. To believe otherwise is to not understand how it all works. I have yet to read an honest full accounting of just what exactly this repeal means, but anything that forces a business to pay their own way, stand on their own, or otherwise face the same market or other economic forces as everyone else is a good thing. Not really sure if that is what happened here.

Disney is in very serious trouble. Their stock price has plummeted from a high of $203 just over a year ago to $115 today, a staggering 43% drop, a loss of $160 Billion in Market Cap (the value of the company). And there seems to be no end in sight. Probably worse than the drop in value is the damage to the brand.

It is difficult to see how the company can recover from this in any sort of near term time frame. They would have to fire all the top management, clear the decks of all wokesters, pedos and perverts throughout the organization (to prevent sabotage of their re-marketing campaign) and spend Millions of dollars on new marketing to try to rehabilitate themselves in the eyes of their customers.

Frankly, I don’t see it happening. DeSantis didn’t do it to them. They did it to themselves. DeSantis just called them out. As an investment, Disney is dead money. Maybe Elon can buy them.
