People have forgotten, or just never realized, the good old Walter Cronkite was just as far left as any of the vacuous talking heads of today. He ended each broadcast with the disingenuous “and that’s they way it was”, referencing each news day. The truth was “that’s the way we want you to believe it was”, but people believed him unreservedly, much like the zombies who view CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, PBS, etc. today.
