Politicians are using Ukraine as a photo opportunity. Would the most powerful government officials risk traveling there if Kyiv was under constant attack? Would they publicly stroll the streets with Russia’s alleged top target? Third in line to lead the US, 82-year-old Nancy Pelosi, insisted on putting a wall and armed guards around the US capitol, stating she feared for her life. She had no problem flying to what has been described as an active warzone to take pictures with Zelensky and personally deliver him billions of dollars for a war the media states he is winning.
Boris Johnson also did not pass on the photo opportunity. The prime minister of the UK openly walked around Kyiv with the Ukrainian leader. Zelensky made sure to wear his military gear for the photos, although Johnson was in a suit. There were no bulletproof vests, and they did not meet in a secret location. In fact, numerous leaders of NATO nations have visited Ukraine since the war began. The presidents of Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and Estonia all traveled by train to visit the war-torn country. Many others have visited as well and sent top delegates amid an ongoing war.
Everyone clearly knows where Zelensky is located – including the Russians. There were countless reports of Russian special forces attempting to assassinate Zelensky in the “early hours” of the war. Zelensky never went into hiding. He posts videos from his office in Kyiv and has made his location known. Yet, he claims that he and his family will be assassinated by Putin soon. He has successfully secured the public’s opinion as they see him as a brave leader who is willing to risk his life for his country. If Putin wanted to assassinate Zelensky, he would have done so already. Putin does not want a war with NATO and is moving carefully.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. Depending on who you believe the most, American stockpiles of Javelins and Stingers are down at least by one-third or even higher than half. Wow.
No big deal on the Javelins. There are gobs of vids of bitchute showing that Javelins bounce off Russian tanks … some tanks having been hit 2 or 3 times in succession and they keep rolling on.
The Stingers are the real problem. Once they reach Ukie territory no one knows where the fuck they are. They could be in the hands of the Ukie military, or they could be in the hands of some Azov fukwad who will sell them to some mooslim terrorist. We just don’t know. It is TOTALLY inconceivable that things will go anywhere but down, at an ever accelerating pace from here. ’til the end. Devolution is the actual real world counter to the the theory of evolution, painfully and blatantly on display. Everywhere. Any arena.

On 28 April 2022 President Lukashenko of Belarus spoke of a possible coming together of various independent countries, former Soviet republics, to join the Russian Federation and Belarus in a ‘Union State’.
A Sovereign Union, composed of sovereign nations with new and just borders, agreed on after referenda, freely co-operating in terms of trade and defence, is possible. These initial sovereign nations, in possible order of membership, could be: The Russian Federation, Belarus, much of the old Ukraine, liberated, with its new name, borders and new government, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Thus would be formed a new USSR, a Union of Sovereign Social Republics, a Sovereign Union (SU). Many would rejoice at this, for the dangerous vacuum, the social injustices, the neo-feudal oligarchs’ kleptocracy and divisions left by the collapse of the old USSR have proved to be extremely destabilising for the whole of Northern Eurasia, one sixth of the Earth’s land surface. And that instability has affected the rest of the world quite profoundly, as we can see at this very moment, which is left shuddering at the possibility, however slight, of World War III.”

It would beat the fuck outta living under the thumb of the E.U. , Lukashenko should sell used cars . That is to say I can visualize what he is saying and proposing . Really though the E.U. just creeps me out , even the flag looks creepy . I don’t understand the attraction or necessity of the E.U. unless you are one of the “constantly broke and borrowing -in-law” countries . Too many dictates by unelected fuckwits . But I am an American raised on bologna and white bread and respect for the flag and a veteran to boot . On a side note ,as a kid who grew up (teens and twenties) in the 70’s and 80’s I think Zelensky is coked up to the gills , loves money and is easily manipulated . He needs to get his ass to the negotiating table with Putin without chaperones , and hammer out a deal , like pronto Tonto , this little war thing is way past going a little south.

So the narrative of one set of people shifts From:
“Putin is the good guy. He’s not trying to re-create the USSR. That’s just NATO propaganda!”
To:
“Putin is the good guy. He is the good guy because he’s trying to re-create the USSR. That this might be a bad thing is just NATO propaganda!”
In a matter of, what? Two months?
I was just commenting on the quote of Lukashenko , I don’t know fuckall about narratives or any set of people . I don’t set parameters on what I may say or feel about a topic from one day to the next . I’m just another dipshit with a keyboard , and make no pretense otherwise . I’ll leave the fixed narratives and heavy lifting to the resident experts , of which there are many . I am more worried about the way cheeto dust sticks to my fingers than Putin and Zelensky and Lukashenko’s vision of a new and improved USSR . I see a fishing pole and a Jim Beam in my future , I will prognosticate that event will come to pass with certainty .
It wasn’t meant as a criticism of you, personally.
Me? I think that nobody wants a re-unified USSR more than NATO and the United States MIC.
But my point was that there’s propaganda and doublespeak from both sides, and it’s interesting to watch some people fall for one line of propaganda only to have to either eat crow, or talk out of the other side of their mouths. All in just several weeks’ time.
I appreciate that , but this military evolution has changed since Feb , Zelensky had through his proxies , what , a couple of sit downs in Turkey (a couple in Belarus?), seemed willing to talk it out , said NATO was a no-go, then money and arms pour in , at his pleading to all who would listen or pay up in either arms or money . I think it is fair and prudent to change ones opinion or thoughts as situations change . See that is a pisser for me , foreign policy should be based on the situation as it is , not how one would like it to be . As I said before , I defer to resident experts , I know as a military vet , many careers were built upon being experts on “Easter european affairs” , should the Cold War end many careers would end, and many desks and entire departments would be unnecessary , from think tanks, DOD ,college campuses , intelligence agencies , and so on . Look at the “Arab Spring ” approach , did nothing but spread money around , supported “moderate rebels” , who went rogue from power vaccuums created through overthrows , killed several of my friends , and created the biggest war induced displaced migrant crisis in my lifetime . In the middle east the “iron fist” is understood , different culture ,(tribal and familial alliances rule) like an eighth grade game of “king of the hill” or as we said in my eighth grade year “smear the queer” . This money being poured into , or promised to be poured into Ukraine , nobody knows where it is going , nor do they know where the arms are going. But the donated weapons will be replenished at a profit for the big arms manufacturers . During Desert Storm , we had Reps from the big companies aboard my ship , flying off and on from hotels in Dubai on CH46’S to observe, video, and tech assist , not to mention to get of retrograde (old stuff) . The shit is a fucking mess , and Ukraine is a new flavor of the week mess .
And one more point , a lot of countries got fucked over with the dissolution of the Soviet Union and are not in a better state . Yeah I fuckin said it . Lately this new version of Democracy ain’t the one I grew up with , we now have a “ministry of truth” under the DHS headed by a rich Cuban refugee who grew up in Beverly Hills , headed by a true believer estrogen fueled shitstorm who is a snarky true believer .
And it rained like a mofo , and me and the dog didn’t go fishin , the garden didn’t get a second turnover , but the Jim Beam flows , and the westerns are on TV.
