…anyone who wants their property obscured can request it. And from what I hear, Google is rather compliant with all requests and it’s not at all difficult to have done.
the house next to my 92 yr old grandmother is “obscured” on google maps and she lives out in rural NC. it was built in the early 70’s and some distant relatives live there.

Just for giggles I went to Google Maps and entered “jen psaki’s house”. It came right up as the address on Pollard in Arlington.
It’s described as a “Tourist Attraction”.
