When I was a boy/young man, it was common for nut cases to believe they were Napoleon.
These people would be examined to determine if they were a danger to themselves or others. If found harmless they were sent on their way.

By the way, I tried the approach of ignoring the masked people in the store today. No “hello”, no “how’ya’doing”, no “have a nice day”. Cashier at the grocery store appeared to be confused or taken aback and started talking to herself, since I was not answering. She might have thought I was deaf. Perhaps, she also thought I was autistic or something, since I stared at my bananas instead of making eye contact.
Hahaha. Was a lot of fun, although a bit uncomfortable at first, since I tend to want to be friendly to people. I think I will stick to it, and stick it to them in the process.
I would be more careful about staring at my banana(s?) in public.

There is a case to be made for bullying. But it’s ignored. Bullying is mischaracterized as an unmitigated bad. Unless, except, when it is done by “institutions.” Like boot camp. Including the boot camps known as “public education.”
I’ll take it further. The only real education I got in those first twelve years was in the subject of bullies. “Peer”/cohort bullies & the institutional bullies that ran the inmates. The rest was shite. And that was back in what too many wax nostalgic about being the good old days.
There were wimps back then who would take whatever was dished out. But “peer”/cohort bullies have largely been suppressed in polite Shawshankindergartens. And the result is a whole lotta more wimps – who prove, with their love of “micro-aggressions” & other rot, that they *need* bullies. Deprived of them, skim milk, whipped into empty foam, is settled for – & extolled.
Insecurities are not, cannot, be “securitized” by third parties. You gotta do it yourself. “Schools” have been made progressively more insecure. They are active shooter magnets – on purpose. And that insecurity is “thought” to be an argument – by cowards & nitwits & tyrants – for expanding that same insecurity everywhere beyond the “schools.”
That’s the good news, btw, about all the bastards who think they are insulated by surrounding security forces.
