The wife of Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has died aged 55.
Linda Gail Kramer, who was described by the rock star as the ‘love of his life,’ died on June 22.
According to an obituary posted in the Boston Herald, the 72-year-old drummer and his wife were ‘inseparable’ said family and friends. It also added she ‘loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews.’
Joey’s reps also confirmed the sad news to several news outlets, but no cause of death has been released.

‘Breakin’ star Bruno ‘Pop N Taco’ Falcon dead: Michael Jackson dancer was 58

Bruno Falcon, the trailblazing hip-hop dancer and choreographer known as “Pop N Taco,” died Saturday at his Long Beach, California home. He was 58.
The pop-and-lock legend of the early ’80s cult film “Breakin’ ” passed away of natural causes, his sister Diana Wolgamott confirmed to local news outlets. No official cause of death has been confirmed but she said she believes he might have died of a heart attack.
The East LA native was a mainstay in the street dance scene throughout the ’80s and ’90s.

Eric Francis, 36, from West Palm Beach, Florida, was found dead off the coast of Guadeloupe during a race in the Caribbean on Saturday, just weeks before the birth of his second daughter.
The Floridian nicknamed ‘Eric the Eagle’ was married to British world champion jet skier Sophie Francis, 26.

Famous Minecraft personality Technoblade has passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was just 23 years old.
Having revealed his diagnosis to fans last year, the YouTube star was mostly away from the spotlight as he went through chemotherapy.
In a devastating update on June 30, Technoblade’s father appeared in one last upload, sharing news that his son had passed away. Technoblade used his father’s laptop to write his final message, passing away just eight hours later.

New report finds pilot had chest pains before deadly crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Action News 5 has an update on a plane crash that killed a Mid-South pilot back in May.
A new report from the National Transportation Safety Board now gives us a better picture of the moments before Malcolm King’s plane crashed near Memphis.
According to the preliminary accident report, the 62-year-old told air traffic controllers in Memphis he was experiencing chest pains just minutes before his plane began to nose-dive.
King was piloting a single-engine Cessna 172 plane that went down in a portion of Shelby County, west of the Mississippi River and east of Dacus Lake. Airport officials confirmed the plane took off from General DeWitt Spain Airport in Memphis.

Los Angeles – A Southern California family is in mourning after their son, a UPS driver, died just a day after his 24th birthday. Esteban Chavez Jr. of Downey was delivering packages in the Pasadena area last Saturday when he collapsed. The family believes he may have died from heat stroke. Records show Pasadena hit temperatures in the upper 90s on that day, June 25.
According to the family, Esteban apparently passed out in his truck in the early afternoon, and there was at least a 20-minute gap before someone noticed and called for help. “This is all so sudden,” said his father, Esteban Chavez Sr. “He just turned 24 on Friday and he ended up passing away the day after, which was the 25th.”
The coroner’s office is still working to determine the official cause of Esteban’s death. But his family hopes the tragedy can at least serve as a warning and reminder to others who work in the summer heat: Take precautions, drink plenty of water and keep cool.

UPS has more than 540,000 employees around the world, mostly front-line workers, including unionized drivers and package handlers, who have not had the option to work from home during the pandemic. Shock And Grief Over Bazivamo Son’s Death In US Varsity

Shock and grief have engulfed the family of Christophe Bazivamo, following the death of his 23-year-old son who was studying in the US, in the University of Arkansas.
Police in the state of Arkansas are investigating the circumstances under which Brice Hirwa Nshuti, whose body was discovered within the university premises, died, with details remaining scanty.
Bazivamo, who is the Deputy Secretary General of the East African Community (EAC), in charge of Productive and Social Sectors and the Vice Chairman of the ruling party, Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF- Inkotanyi), confirmed the death of his son, which he said has left him shocked.
Initial reports indicate that Hirwa had been hanging out with several of his friends at the campus on the evening of June 28 and at around 10pm, they all went to sleep. His body was discovered on the morning of June 29 at 3am, near one of the university buildings.
“It is difficult to lose a child in this way. He had no other problem, no known illness. He was ok. He was communicating and he was enjoying a cordial conversation with his friends the previous evening,” Bazivamo said in an interview.
According to Bazivamo the preliminary information which they were given by university authorities is that Hirwa was hanging out with his friends before they parted ways to go and sleep.
One of his friends confirmed that Hirwa had gone to his bed and switched off the lights, only to be shocked in the morning when they were informed that his body was found 5 minutes away from the block he sleeping in. It was discovered by fellow students.

MYSTERY surrounds the death of a firefighter and mother of two, who died while teaching a water rescue training course.
Alicia Monahan, 41, had served Chesterfield County Fire & EMS for over 11 years and recently helped recover a body from a reservoir in March.
On June 25, Monahan was training a group of fire and EMS workers in swift water rescue techniques on the Nantahala River in North Carolina.
According to Chesterfield Fire, Monahan was familiar with the area and taught multiple classes across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia while off-duty.
Those in the training course said that at one point, it seemed Monahan was having issues in the water.
For reasons still unknown, Monahan became unresponsive.
Chesterfield Fire said she was carried downstream by currents before being removed from the water by individuals who performed CPR.

On Tuesday, June 28, officials announced that Clyde Mongan passed away following a lifetime of service to his county and community. He is being remembered as “the man with all the witty comebacks and his giggle,” while officials fondly recalled that when you’d ask Morgan how he was doing, his reply was always the same: “fat and sassy.”
“Our heartfelt condolences to his family,” a spokesperson for the fire company added. “He was one of a kind for sure.”

Minneapolis man died of unknown causes on Continental Divide Trail

Nobody knows why Alexander Cahoy died suddenly while hiking the Continental Divide Trail. He was 32, fit and seemingly healthy, an experienced hiker. “I have to come to terms with the fact that I may never know,” said his father, Tom Cahoy of Minneapolis.
The hiker from Minneapolis had been out of contact for a few days when a search team found him June 9 at his campsite in the Colorado mountains. He was in his sleeping bag, his possessions arranged neatly around him. An autopsy produced no answers. “Everybody says there was no trauma, no distress,” Tom said. “He apparently died peacefully in his sleep on top of a mountain at over 12,000 feet.”
When fellow hiker Tim Brugman last saw Alex, a couple of days before he died, he was on “a really sketchy section” of snowy trail called Knife Edge, “walking along with ease.”
Latham man dies while hiking Cascade Mountain

Lake Placid, NY — A 44-year-old hiker died unexpectedly while hiking Cascade Mountain this past Saturday. Forest rangers with the state Department of Environmental Conservation responded to a report of CPR in progress on a man — Gregory Luther, of Latham — approximately one and a half miles from the Cascade Mountain trailhead at 11:11 a.m. on June 25.
Two hikers had found Luther unresponsive on the trail, according to the DEC, and two medical students arrived and started performing CPR. Duffy said they weren’t able to revive Luther. A physician later arrived and determined that Luther had died at 11:45 a.m. He was then transported to the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh for an autopsy, which determined that Luther died of natural causes.
Luther was a certified EMT and volunteered with the Latham Fire Department, according to an obituary published in the Times Union. Luther was “a lover of the outdoors,” “an all-around handyman who could fix just about anything,” and “a quiet, gentle giant who loved children and spending time with his family,” according to the obituary.

A newly elected district attorney in Oklahoma suddenly died just days after voters elected him to the seat. Family and friends are still coming to terms with the death of David Hammer, who was elected Tuesday to be the new district attorney for Pottawatomie and Lincoln counties. His family has not revealed the cause of death as of Monday afternoon.
Hammer’s friends and family described the district attorney-elect as a tireless worker committed to helping victims. “I think they’re pretty much in shock. I’ve seen them, but they didn’t have a whole lot to say. I just think it’s really surprising,” Laura Willis, who was Hammer’s friend, said. Hammer was 47.
“He was very passionate about what he was doing, and that’s really what I think drove most people to him,” Pottawatomie County Republican Party Chair Alan Rogers said.

Maine is on track to see the most deadly motorcycle crashes in 5 years

Maine has seen 18 fatal motorcycle crashes resulting in 18 deaths so far this year, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss. This far surpasses the 11 motorcycle crashes resulting in 11 deaths and nine motorcycle crashes resulting in 10 deaths Maine had seen in the first six months of 2021 and 2020, respectively.
The state hasn’t yet pinpointed one cause behind the increase, as the crashes have multiple contributing factors.
This year’s average of three deadly motorcycle crashes per month is also higher than the state’s monthly average of fatal motorcycle crashes in 2018 through 2021, which ranged from 1.75 to 2.25 crashes. Should the current monthly rate of fatal motorcycle crashes continue, Maine can expect to see the highest annual number of fatal motorcycle crashes in at least five years, according to data from the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Moss said there have been many contributing factors in the state’s reported motorcycle crashes this year, such as speed, reckless driving and failure to yield by both motorcycles and vehicles. However, the state hasn’t pinpointed one common factor to explain the rise in crashes.

WellSpan York, Coroner address increase in sudden unexplained infant deaths; a total of eight babies in York and Adams Counties have died in 2022 so far, which is a significant rise from 2021.

York, Pa. — WellSpan officials and the York County Coroner addressed the dramatic increase in sudden unexplained infant deaths (SUIDs) at a press conference at WellSpan York Hospital on Tuesday. Officials say they’ve seen as many deaths in the past six months as they typically see in an entire year. Four to five babies had died throughout the entirety of 2021. As of 2022, six babies have died so far in York County, and two more have died in Adams County.
The most common theme that officials are seeing in the infant deaths are babies sleeping in an unsafe environment. They stress that babies should only ever be sleeping on their back, with an appropriate mattress, with nothing else in the crib or bassinet. Doctors hope educating people on best practices will greatly reduce risk.

St.Petersburg, FA – A priest who worked closely with Diocese of St. Petersburg Bishop Gregory Parkes died unexpectedly on Thursday, according to a statement from the diocese. The Rev. Carl Melchior Jr. served as Priest Secretary for Parkes and acted as chaplain to St. Petersburg Catholic High School. Melchior, 59, died of cardiac arrest after boarding a plane in Philadelphia. He was preparing to fly to Greece for a pilgrimage, the diocese said.
Beloved photographer and NCAP Director, Maria Markell passed away

Shreveport, La. – Well-known local artist died suddenly, leaving the art community stunned at the loss; she contributed in large ways to our community. Maria Markell suffered from a sudden embolism and passed away on June 23, it was a heart-wrenching day for everyone who knew her.
Markell worked closely with the Spring Street Museum and later became the director of the Noel Community Arts Program(NCAP). Her dedication to the arts impacted the community in massive ways. Markell had just recently gained grant money to allow NCAP the ability to offer scholarships to cover camp and private lesson costs for families in financial need. She also worked with other local nonprofits to offer expanded art outreach experiences. Due to her work, art lessons were held at many different locations including Local friendship houses, Volunteer of America’s Lighthouse program, The Hub Ministry, and Creswell Elementary’s after-school program.

Longtime business man, Douglas Schulz dies unexpectedly at age 56

Delmar, NY — Long-time business owner, insurance agent and Delmar resident Douglas A. Schulz died at his home on Friday, June 24, at the age of 56. He operated the Schulz Insurance Agency at 163 Delaware Ave for many years.
Doug Schulz interacted with businesses as well as individuals. “At the chamber we are sad to see the loss of a long-time member of our community,” Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce Chairman Vince Crisafulli said. “He will be missed.” He was also known to ride his bike around town even to dinner, especially his favorite local restaurant My Place and Company on Delaware Avenue. “We were shaken at the news at My Place,” Owner Jim Giacone said. “He was loved by everybody.”
According to Bethlehem police, on Friday, June 24 an employee at his office was concerned after he did not arrive for work. He was found later that day. “It is under investigation by detectives,” said Bethlehem police Commander James Rexford on Saturday. “All preliminary indications appear that he died of Natural Causes.” The Albany County coroner’s office has said there is no evidence of foul play and will give an exact cause of death upon the return of toxicology reports, Rexford said.

Investigation underway after Elizabeth City inmate dies 2 days after booked

PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. – The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an inmate.
On Friday, June 24, around 10:30 p.m., The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office responded to Albemarle District Jail in reference to a call for EMS assistance for an inmate that was not breathing.
The inmate, 24-year-old William Adam Seagle, had been in ADJ since Wednesday, June 22, for Failure to Appear on some traffic offenses.
His mother, Kimberly McNary Seagle spoke to News 3. She said she did see her son last Wednesday, the same day he went to jail.
“He gave me a kiss and a hug, and he told me that he appreciated me and loved me and that was the last time I saw or heard from him,” said Seagle.
On Friday, according to a press release, deputies were escorted to B-Block inside of the jail where EMS and Providence Fire Dept. were already on the scene providing life-saving measures to Seagle. The inmate was then taken to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center by EMS where Seagle was pronounced deceased around 11:20 p.m.
According to investigators, officers with ADJ responded to B-Block after observing Seagle lying on the floor at around 10:11 p.m. At 10:12 p.m., with the assistance of other inmates, officers and inmates moved the unconscious inmate from the floor onto a table in the common area of B-Block where officers with ADJ began providing life-saving measures until EMS arrived and took over the role of medical care.
This incident is still under investigation to determine what caused the inmate’s passing. The Sheriff’s Office wrote in the press release that at the time, no foul play was suspected. Since then, News 3 obtained an incident report that reads “suspicious death investigation.”
Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District official has died

Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District (CA) Executive Director and Air Pollution Control Officer Mat Ehrhardt has died, officials announced Tuesday. He passed away Sunday. “We are deeply shocked and saddened by this sudden and tragic loss. It was a great privilege to know him personally and work alongside Mat for more than 28 years,” Paul Hensleigh, deputy air pollution control officer, said in a press statement.
Ehrhardt held a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, where he was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He came to the District in 1997 as an associate air quality engineer, earning his professional engineering license in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. He promoted to supervising air quality engineer in 2000 and to deputy air pollution control officer in 2002. In 2005, he was named the executive director of the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District.

Dutchess County resident Ashley Marie Fortier-Curtis, of Hyde Park, died at home on Thursday, June 23, according to her obituary. Fortier-Curtis was born in Poughkeepsie and worked for Bottini Fuel as an administrative assistant/dispatcher, her obituary said. Before her position at Bottini Fuel, she worked in home health care.

Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) on Tuesday, described the death of 70-year old Amb. Ejeviome Otobo in the U.S. as very sad and painful.
Dabiri-Erewa said in a condolence message signed on her behalf by Mr Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Head of Media and Public Relations, NIDCOM, on behalf that the circumstances surrounding Otobo’s sudden disappearance and eventual death was very disturbing and heart-breaking. She, however, called for independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the sudden disappearance of the diplomat and his eventual death in the U.S.
Otobo, a former Nigeria diplomat and ambassador, was found dead after he had been declared missing and was last seen in Tuckahoe, New York on June 15. The Tuckahoe police department on June 19 announced in a Facebook post that he was missing and requested vital information on his whereabouts from the public. A few days after, the police announced that Otobo had been found dead and sent condolences to his family.

A man has reportedly died suddenly after his friend stole his ATM card and withdrew N700,000 which is over ₵13,000 from his bank account.
The deceased’s wife, Monsurat spoke to reporters and accused his friend Olo of the theft that led to the death of the 60-year-old man who has been identified as Isak Wahab.
He said, “Last week Thursday, my dad was not alright, but I felt it was just ordinary malaria or a small illness. But later, I was told that it was serious and I had to call my siblings. We later learnt from our mother that our father was defrauded by Mr Ola.
St. Marys police officer dies on duty

Saint Marys, KS – The Saint Marys Police Department announced the death of one of their officers while on duty on Saturday. Officer Mark Lamberson died unexpectedly while on duty on July 2. Lamberson’s death is being investigated by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, but no foul play is suspected. Officer Lamberson was a long-time valued member of the department and began his service in 2013. Prior to that, he was a jail deputy at the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office.

Starkville, MS — Dispatch sports editor Tom Rysinski, 56, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home. He joined the staff in July 2021, leading the sports staff and directing the section’s coverage while also writing features, game stories and columns. He focused much of his writing on high school, recreational and Mississippi University for Women sports coverage.
“Tom had an easy way about him that made him well-liked throughout the building,” Dispatch Publisher Peter Imes said. “He understood the importance of sports in community journalism and particularly liked covering under-reported teams and sports. He will certainly be missed.”

Former Duval County emergency preparedness director dies

Jacksonville, Fla. – Former Duval County Emergency Preparedness Director Steven Woodard has died, the city of Jacksonville announced Friday. He was 64. Woodard joined the city in 2013 and led the Emergency Preparedness Divison until this March, when he retired.
Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry said he was “deeply saddened to learn of the sudden loss.” Woodard was responsible for overseeing the preparation, prevention, response, recovery and mitigation during disasters that included hurricanes Matthew in 2016 and Irma in 2017.

Over his lifetime, Pete Johnson had created thousands of surfboards and rode tens of thousands of waves, all over the world. He managed the Rusty Surfboard company for ten years and specialized in the food industry, opening or managing ten Chart House restaurants.
He surfed for 50 years, eight of those as a professional surfer. He had three major tournament wins and surfed on the Chart House Professional Longboard Team.

Nate attended Western Technical College in La Crosse and graduated as an automotive technician. He worked at Farm & Fleet and Dahl Ford. Just the day before he fell ill, Bob had enjoyed touring the caverns of Mammoth Cave in Kentucky.

Lake City, MN – Robert (Bob) Doyscher, 70, formerly of Marshall, died unexpectedly Friday, June 17, 2022. Once Bob had an interest in a subject, he went all in. Examples include wooden boat building, ham radio, birding, fly fishing, kite building, antique bicycles, his Slovenian ancestry, thrifting for vintage Pyrex – the list goes on and on. He was an expert on countless topics, and if you asked him a question, he often gave you more than you bargained for. If you look up the phrase “the gift of gab,” Bob’s picture should be next to it. He could talk to anyone about just about anything, and he never shied away from correcting you if you were wrong. (Just ask anyone who attempted to tie a boat to a dock. His knowledge of knots knew no bounds.) He mellowed with age, but his will to impart knowledge never did.
Bob married the love of his life, Lia Leirfallom Ash, in 1989. Bob was stepdad to Lia’s three girls, whom he taught to drive a stick shift and run power tools. He was so proud of them for being fiercely independent. Bob loved to tell stories of how the girls helped build their own house in Pepin, WI, hanging sheetrock like pros. It was during their time in Pepin that Bob, through sheer orneriness, beat the demons of alcohol and cigarettes in order to reset to a life of good health.
Bob and Lia most recently lived in Lake City, MN where Bob loved to camp, boat, golf, take pictures of the weather over Lake Pepin, and promote the growth of clover and other pollinator-friendly plants in his yard. After hearing of Bob’s passing, his sister Mary said, “A world without Bob will be a whole lot quieter.” His friend Jerry added, “And a whole lot less interesting.”

Elizabeth’s greatest achievement was overcoming the limitations of Grieg’s syndrome to become an active and beloved contributor to the Trinity Learning Center, Trinity Cathedral, and her city. She let no adversity overwhelm her. Affectionately known as “Little Boss” and the “Queen of Hugs,” Elizabeth had an immense capacity to love and expressed love exuberantly through her sunny spirit, engagement with others and keen sense of humor and irony. She brought tremendous joy to all who knew her. Her guts, grit and gusto carried her gracefully through a life fraught with many challenges. Never one to complain, speak ill of another or to disappoint, she left the world a better place, having been here for too short a time. She will be sorely missed by the many people and furry friends who loved her.

New York, NY – Ioannis “John” Milios, tech pioneer, serial entrepreneur and overall revolutionary, died suddenly in his sleep on June 10. He was 68.
Born in Thessaloniki to a family of Greeks from Asia Minor, Milios spent his childhood in Athens where, at the age of 19, he became a key leader of the student group instrumental in the eventual overthrow of the Greek Junta. Forced into hiding after the events of the November 17th, 1973 Athens Polytechnic uprising, he was eventually captured, imprisoned and tortured. During his captivity, he shared a cell with actor and activist Yorgos Kotanidis, who used their unoccupied time together to perform the entire catalog of Shakespeare’s plays (all roles). Milios never again saw another work of the Bard.
The name of the student group he led included both the terms anti-fascist (before it was fashionable) and anti-capitalist. He didn’t stay anti-capitalist for long. Upon his release from jail in 1974, following the restoration of Greek Democracy, he went on to graduate with a BS in Physics and MS in Automation from the University of Athens. Though awarded a Fulbright for further studies in the United States, he rejected their terms and instead accepted a full-ride scholarship to Columbia University Engineering. Milios, an avid musician, studied under the legendary master of acoustics, Cyril M. Harris, but was mostly concerned with developments in the nascent computer industry. At Columbia, he designed the first computer classroom for IBM, taught Columbia’s first course on microcontrollers as an Associate Professor, and was awarded a Ph.M.
A lifelong Japan Karate Association (JKA) karateka with a 5th dan black belt, Milios embraced the philosophy of the dojo kun: seek perfection of character; be faithful; endeavor; respect others; and refrain from violence. A man who always did what was right, even if it was hard, he is survived by his daughter, Myrto Miliou, her partner, Vince Turpin, grandchildren, Markos and Stephanos, sister, Nana Vetta, brother Nikos Korovilas, and his partner of more than 30 years, Ellen Gooch.

He spent his life as a champion for free expression, speaking truth to power, and turning dreams into reality. Bou-Matar died suddenly last week while touring a show through Hungary. He was 47.

Kamloops, BC – Eight Alapaha blue-blood bulldog puppies were taken from a Kamloops breeder’s home after she suddenly died, her sister says. A woman is urging the public to be on the lookout for eight rare-breed puppies she says were stolen from her sister’s Kamloops home hours after she died suddenly last week.
Kearston Burton-Weatherhead said she recently made the three and a half hour drive from her Chilliwack home to Kamloops to look for the puppies. She is offering a cash reward for their safe return. “We honestly just want these puppies back. We want to be able to lay my sister to rest without the constant worry of where her puppies are,” Burton-Weatherhead said. “This was already a horrible, horrible thing that we’re going through. And then on top of this, we just feel absolutely gutted.”
Burton-Weatherhead said her sister, Dainya Watson, died suddenly at 33 in her Kamloops home on Tuesday. According to Burton-Weatherhead, Watson had been a dog breeder for about seven or eight years, well-known in the dog community for breeding Alapaha blue-blood bulldogs. Watson had been caring for the latest litter of eight puppies when she died. Burton-Weatherhead said Kamloops police attended Watson’s house — which she shared with two roommates — after she died, and left at about 5 a.m.
“What we were told was between 5 and 6 a.m., the roommates went inside. And within a few minutes of them being in the home, they heard a commotion outside and went and checked,” Burton-Weatherhead said. “There was a van speeding away from their home, and all the puppies had been taken from outside in the front yard.” The van is described as a black or dark grey 2000 Honda Odyssey.

A man died due to cardiorespiratory arrest while traveling to the province of Ambo, in the Huánuco region. This is Mario Jesús Sebastián Moreno, 42 years old, who was an environmental engineer by profession and also provided a taxi service.
It should be noted that the deceased was a worker of the Municipality of Ambo and worked as a sanitation supervisor, in addition, he was a faithful member of a Christian church. According to the investigations of the authorities, on June 30, Mario Sebastián felt a strong pain in his chest, without thinking that it would be a pre-infarction [heart attack]. Due to the strong pain that was intensifying every time, he felt that he was losing consciousness and called a family member to help him.

Andy Goram, the former Scotland and Rangers goalkeeper, and the last man to play for his country in both cricket and football, has died at the age of 58 after a short battle with cancer. As a left-handed batter, wicketkeeper and right-arm medium-paced bowler, Goram grew up as a keen league cricketer in the Saddleworth League in Oldham. However, his opportunities to play at a higher level were limited by his football career, and effectively ended with his £1 million transfer from Hibernian to Rangers in 1991, when his new manager, Walter Smith, ordered him to focus exclusively on football.
Goram announced in April that he had been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer, and had been given six months to live. Known simply as “The Goalie”, in a 2001 poll of Rangers fans, he was named as the greatest goalkeeper in the club’s history.

Tributes have been paid to a ‘kind and devoted’ doctor who worked at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital after she died suddenly. The tragic death of Dr Vaishnavi Kumar comes just two-weeks after the passing of another doctor from the same city hospital.
Dr Kumar, 35, had previously told how the pandemic had “taken its toll” on the NHS profession in the West Midlands. The medic, who specialised in diabetes and endocrinology – hormone-related diseases – was described as a “much-loved and highly respected doctor, friend and colleague” by her hospital Trust.
The tragedy comes just a fortnight after the death of QE doctor Andrew Haldane who went missing after leaving work. Healthy girl, 16, died ‘out of the blue’ in her sleep at home in Dagenham after her heart ‘stopped beating’

A teenager died suddenly in her sleep at her family home in Dagenham after her heart “simply stopped beating”, an inquest has heard. Amy Forde-Jury, 16, was last seen by her mum on the evening of November 22, 2021, when she appeared perfectly well, but she was found unresponsive in her bedroom the following morning.
Despite a lengthy post-mortem which involved a number of tests, a cause of death has not been ascertained, and her death has been ruled as a sudden adult death, which could have been caused by an irregular beat of the heart. An inquest at Waltham Forest Coroners Court on June 17 heard that this type of arrhythmia occurs “simply out of the blue”, without any signs or symptoms appearing beforehand.
Prior to her death, Amy had had no significant medical treatment, aside from being diagnosed with asthma in 2019 and suffering heartburn in 2013 when she was a young child. The evening before she had passed away, she had given her mum Tanya “no reason” to believe she was unwell, before retiring to her bedroom.
Acting Senior Coroner Dr Graeme Irvine summarised: “It was only the following morning, a typical busy morning in that household where everybody is getting ready to go out, that Tanya had the tragic finding of her daughter unresponsive in bed. It seems to me that Tanya did everything she could, emergency services were called and attended swiftly but unfortunately there was very little they could do, and despite their best efforts, Amy could not be resuscitated and she was declared deceased.”
Following a number of tests, including toxicology, microbiology and examining samples from the liver, spleen and kidney, the consultant pathologist could find no “illness, injury or condition” which could have contributed to her death. Dr Simi George explained: “In these circumstances, we’d have essentially a negative post-mortem examination. We had no positive findings, nothing that we could see was a naturally occurring process, and in the past maybe one would have called this unascertained.”

The family of a mother-of-four who died suddenly, after coming back from holiday, have paid tribute to her. Jennifer Moseley collapsed at her farm shortly after milking the cows.
Her husband David explained that she had told doctors she was having chest pains two weeks before her tragic and sudden death. The doctors thought she had strained a muscle. David and Jennifer went on a mini-break to Llandudno when her health improved, Stoke on Trent Live reports.
The 48-year-old said: “She was across the yard, looking after her horses, she loved horses. Somebody came on to the farm and she went up to them as she does with anyone. She said she felt unwell, turned around to go in and just collapsed on the yard.
“A fortnight before she died she had been unwell. She had pains in her chest but the doctor said she’d hurt a muscle in her chest. The doctors gave her a blood test but they should have given her a scan. I don’t know what they missed, she had so much pain she could hardly stand up. She was delirious.
“They gave her some painkillers and when she came home she got better and better. We had just been to Llandudno for two days. She didn’t feel unwell on the holiday. She looked radiant to be honest. She always did do no matter what she was doing.”

Osahon Osawe, who was fit and healthy and had no known underlying conditions, suffered an unexpected cardiac arrest on Thursday, May 26. Os, as he was lovingly known by friends and family, had dinner with Charlotte and their one-year-old son, Tobias, before he left for his regular game with pals. “He’d fed and washed Tobias and then left and never came back,” Charlotte said. “He just died, immediately. It’s the most heart-breaking, tragic thing to ever happen – we had only just started our lives.”

Tributes have been paid to Cleckheaton man Michael Brame who tragically died after battling a rare form of cancer and sepsis. Michael died on June 23 after his life support machine was switched off. The 29-year-old had been diagnosed with sepsis in May and was receiving treatment at the Intensive care units at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds.
He was later diagnosed with Anaplastic large-cell lymphoma – a rare type of blood cancer, days before his death. Doctors told the family that there was no treatment that could keep him alive. His brother, Robert King said his family and friends have been left in shock following his death. Michael, who was autistic, has been described as a “much loved and lovely man” who will be missed by his family and friends.

Police were called to the house in Hartington Street, Brierfield, at around 3.20 pm to reports of a sudden death. Emergency services discovered a body, believed to be that of a man aged in his 30s, whose death is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
Det Insp Iain Czapowski, of Lancashire Police, said: “We attended the address and sadly found the body of a man, and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time. On attendance at the address we also found a potentially hazardous material, however this is contained and is not believed to pose any danger to the wider public. A cordon is in place around the address as a precaution and the material is being removed by specialist officers. A joint investigation with the fire service is now underway to establish the exact circumstances and the findings will be passed to the coroner in due course.”

Shortly before 8 am, Lancashire Constabulary were called to a “sudden death” at the centre in Manchester Road, Haslingden. A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called around 7.45 am today (Monday, July 4) to a report of a sudden death at the Haslingden Health Centre in Manchester Road, Haslingden. Emergency services attended with the body of a man, found inside the building. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.”

A man has suddenly died after an incident which took place in Truro during the early hours of this morning (July 3). At around 2.20 am officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were called to reports of a disturbance. Police say a man was located and arrested before he became unwell at the scene, where officers immediately administered emergency treatment. The ambulance was called however, despite best efforts, the man was declared deceased at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed. Devon and Cornwall Police has made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) following the death of the man, and is fully co-operating with its enquiries.

A 27-year-old engineer died from a blood clot on his brain days after his first Covid jab, an inquest has been told.
Jack Last died on 20 April 2021, exactly three weeks after he was given a coronavirus vaccine on 30 March.
An inquest heard he suffered headaches and vomiting a week after having the jab, the BBC reported.
A CT scan was carried out on 10 April, which revealed Mr Last had a cerebral venous sinus thrombosis – a blood clot.
He had surgery and treatment but died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital on 20 April last year.
Mr Last, from Stowmarket, Suffolk, enjoyed canyoning and bungee jumping and was previously described as “fit as ever”.
His sister Jasmine Last said the family had instructed solicitors to lead inquest proceedings on their behalf.
Last year, Ms Last said she believed her brother’s death was linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
She told a reporter: “We’re waiting for the post-mortem results and the inquest date to be confirmed – but we do believe that his death was linked to the vaccine.
“It was very unusual for Jack to feel unwell at all. To my knowledge, he had never had a day off work due to illness.”
The inquest, at Suffolk Coroners’ Court, was adjourned pending a pre-inquest review.

An inquest into the death of a 27-year-old Stonham Aspal adventurer and engineer, who was described by his sister as having a “unique connection with everyone he met”, has opened. Suffolk Coroners’ Court heard on June 24, that Jack Last died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge from a blood clot on April 20 last year – days after having the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
Opening the inquest into his death, coroner Nigel Parsley noted that Mr Last had received the vaccine on March 30.

Following his death, his sister Jaz paid tribute to her brother, saying “he had a unique connection with everyone and always had a plan for his next adventure.” He worked as an agricultural service engineer at Claas and worked for the company for six months in New Zealand in 2015, where he enjoyed exploring the island. “He managed to fit in so much, including canoeing, canyoning, going in a shark cage, bungee jumping, the world’s longest zip wire, and saw AC/DC live,” said Jaz.
After that, his thirst for travel, which also saw him gain his US pilot’s licence and go to California to fly over the Golden Gate Bridge, saw him employed by the British Antarctic Survey in Antarctica, where he drove a traverse system to drop off scientific equipment.

Tributes have been paid to a ‘hero’ shopping centre security guard who has died suddenly aged 55. Munir Qureshi worked at Accrington Arndale and died following a cardiac arrest. He had been working at the centre for 17 years and was a well-known face to shoppers in the town.
A family statement sent by his daughter Sadaf read: “He was hardworking, kind, polite, intelligent and pure hearted. He always passed everyone with a smile and had genuine love for everyone. Tributes have been paid to Co Tyrone man Michael Morgan who died suddenly after becoming unwell while at work at Newell Stores in Coalisland on Monday morning. A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said that they received a 999 call at 8.35 am on Monday morning. Two emergency crews were dispatched to the incident and, following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Criagavon Area Hospital.
The supermarket at the Lineside in the town was closed on Monday morning in response to the incident. Local GAA club Edendork GAC said they were “shocked and saddened” to hear of Michael’s death.

Tributes have been paid to fundraiser John Holubjowsky, 58, who died from a heart attack on the final day of a two-week charity ride from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. John, who ran his own electrical engineering business and lived in Stoney Stanton, near Hinckley, had set off on the 1,000-mile trip on June 7.
Shortly after he began the final leg of the trip to the most north-easterly point of Scotland on June 18 he fell off his bike, suffering a heart attack. Others taking part in the ride rushed to help, along with police and paramedics, who kept up the effort to revive him for about 45 minutes.
John leaves his wife, Keeley, their daughters Lottie and Ella and their granddaughter Lawrie-May. Keeley, 51, said her husband had never had any heart problems in the past.
John had also ran the London Marathon for LOROS in the past. He ran several marathons and half-marathons and had switched to cycling challenges due to a knee problem.
She said John had been enjoying the ride from the bottom tip of Cornwall to the north of Scotland, which involved about 10 cyclists riding for various causes. She said: “He had 30 miles to do on the very last day of the ride and was about 10 miles in when he was seen to fall off his bike.
“They could immediately see something was wrong and they started CPR. The police came and took over and then the ambulance came. They carried on trying to save him for about 45 minutes but he was gone.
“He had been training for the ride since Christmas and had been so excited. He phoned me every night while he was away and he said how good it felt to be doing the ride. He was on a real high and finding the cycling fine.”

Team mates have spoken of their shock following the sudden death of former footballer Gary Pearson at just 45 from a suspected heart attack.
The former Darlington FC player was looking forward to starting his new role as the manager of Billingham Town FC, and was well known throughout the North East having played for and managed a number of clubs.
Club chairman Kevin Close said that everyone at the Teesside club was grieving following the news that Gary had died at home on Thursday.
He said: “He was so fit and healthy, we are just in shock. A couple of weeks ago he had a heart attack while on the pitch and was taken to James Cook Hospital. They put a stent in and he was expected to make a full recovery.”He was at home, relaxing like he was told to do, for a few weeks. He said he was feeling unwell and collapsed in the house.”Kevin said the ambulance crew arrived within a few minutes, but despite their best efforts Gary passed away.

A man has died following a serious crash near Dartford. Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision after a motorcyclist was found injured in North Cray Road, in Sidcup. Officers came across the man at approximately 6.30 pm on Wednesday (June 29) and immediately provided first aid. The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance Service attended. However, despite their best efforts, the rider – a man believed to be aged in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, Met Police has confirmed.
A Met Police spokesperson added: “At this early stage, it is not believed that any other vehicles were involved and that the motorcycle may have collided with a traffic island. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Catford are investigating this matter.”

A woman with a wide circle of friends, who was fun to be with and loved company, died suddenly at the age of 71. Jennifer Carrick, of White Ox Way, Penrith, was born in Wigton in 1951, but moved to Penrith at a young age and attended St Catherine’s Primary School. She met husband David at a rugby club dance and they married in 1977 at St. Catherine’s Church, Penrith, and lived initially at Petteril Road.
As for many people, the COVID pandemic was a struggle for Jennifer, as she loved going out and had a wide circle of friends whose company she really missed. “She was fun to be with, had a cheeky smile, and always had a reply for people,” said Dave, to whom she described herself as “your wife, your best friend and your taxi driver!”

Tributes are pouring in for the well-known gardener and RTÉ presenter Dermot O’Neill who died suddenly at the age of 58.
Mr O’Neill passed away on Friday night at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin.
The popular garden, who presented Dermot’s Secret Garden on RTÉ and edited the magazine Garden Heaven battled stomach cancer in 2009 but recovered after his serious illness and lived in Blackrock, Co Dublin.

And while he had been working on a number of archaeology sites in Dublin in recent months, only two weeks previously, he had started “a dream job” as a guide at Donegal Castle, cycling into work from his home each day. His other great passion was fishing and he was never happier than when returning home from a trip on his little boat, with something for the evening meal.

Cllr James Tobin, who was first elected to Waterford County Council 23 years ago, passed away suddenly over the weekend. Tobin, from Knockanore, near Tallow in west Waterford, was a stalwart of Fianna Fáil in the region, topping the poll for the party at the 2009 local elections.

A hiker dies in Moncayo after suffering a heart attack

A 68-year-old man, a resident of Zaragoza, died this Wednesday while hiking in Moncayo after suffering a heart attack.
Around 1:40 p.m. on June 29, a 112 call was received at the Zaragoza Civil Guard emergency center (062), reporting that a person, who was in the Moncayo Natural Park, had entered a cardiorespiratory arrest while hiking together with other colleagues.
The Civil Guard Air Unit, based in Huesca, and specialists from the Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group of that city, as well as 061 health personnel who crew the aircraft, were immediately activated to move to the where the victim was. In addition, the 112 medicalized helicopter was activated.
While the rescue teams arrived at the scene, the victim’s companions began resuscitation work, with the instructions that were provided to them through 112, finally resulting in death.

The reason for the death of the 49-year-old was ascertained, linked to an illness that struck him. The man fell to the ground, on the floor and right there he was, lifeless, upon the arrival of the Ispra firefighters, the first to intervene, followed by the 118 staff and the carabinieri.
It was precisely the military of the Arma who ascertained that there was no involvement of third parties and that there was no other hypothesis under consideration. For these reasons, the body was made available to family members for the funeral, which will be held in the next few days.

Tragedy this morning, Wednesday 29 June, along the A1 Milan-Naples motorway, near Cadeo. A 65-year-old man died following a serious road accident involving his motorcycle. A woman one year younger who was traveling on the passenger seat was also injured. Unfortunately, the efforts of the 118 medical staff arrived on the spot were useless.
According to what was communicated by the Lombardy Regional Emergency Emergency Agency, the motorcyclist, residing in the province of Milan, was found unconscious on the ground. An 18-year-old Albanian girl lost her life in an accident in Castelmassa, Italy. According to the Italian media, Bianca Papushallaj, 18-year-old of Albanian origin, lost her life as a result of the collision of her vehicle with a tree. Hell morning in A1 Crash between Tir, one dead

It started with yet another very serious accident on the motorway on the first weekend with a red sticker. In fact, there are many motorists who set out to travel to the tourist resorts yesterday morning but already found themselves ‘stuck’ in traffic from the early hours of the day. In fact, around one o’clock, between the night of Thursday and Friday, a maxi collision occurred between Reggio and Modena, on the A1, which involved four trucks at kilometer 153, at the height of Rubiera and Campogalliano, on the south lane towards Bologna.
Unfortunately, the toll is of one victim and three injured. In fact, some works were in progress on that stretch with a consequent narrowing of the carriageway. Antonio Cripezzi, singer and keyboardist of the Chameleons, an Italian band born in the 60s, was found dead in a hotel room in San Giovanni Teatino (Chieti). He was 76 years old. Class XI student dies after friend slaps him

Kolkata: A class XI student died after one of his friend hit him beside his ear on Monday afternoon at Dhanberia in Diamond Harbour. Police have detained the accused student for questioning. According to sources, the 17-year-old boy and his friends were having a playful conversation when he got involved in a mock fight around 12:30 pm, during the interval between two periods. Suddenly, one of his friends slapped him beside his ear. As soon as the boy was slapped, he fell inside the classroom and became unconscious.
Immediately other students informed the teachers. The boy was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead. The police were informed by the school. A woman has died in the Whitsundays after having a medical episode while snorkelling in waters off Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays.
Police say emergency services responded to a call-out around midday for a woman aged in her 50s being brought to shore in a critical condition.
Those on a commercial tourism vessel, on which the woman was travelling, were already performing CPR.
The CQ Rescue helicopter was called but soon stood down.

A man who had been married for just a matter of days is now preparing a funeral for his wife.
The couple from Sydney were enjoying their honeymoon on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays when the golf buggy they were in rolled.
The 29-year-old newlywed woman fell from the buggy and died at the scene.
Her husband, who was driving, was not seriously injured.
Ambulance officers have praised the efforts of first responders to try and save the woman who was in cardiac arrest when a local paramedic arrived on scene. [It is unclear whether the woman’s cardiac arrest preceded, or was caused by, the accident.]
Mackay Acting Inspector Anthony Cowan said it appeared to be a tragic accident.
“There is no indication of alcohol or dangerous driving. It was tragic accident,” he said.
“Maybe through inexperience of driving those type of vehicles it’s rolled on its side and the female has fallen out and suffered life-threatening injuries.”
Acting Inspector Cowan said it appeared the driver was attempting a U-turn on Whitsunday Boulevard at about 4:40pm Monday when the buggy rolled.
Police have confirmed the buggy was fitted with seatbelts, but initial investigations suggest the woman was not wearing one at the time of the crash.

The European (EEA and non-EEA countries) database of suspected drug reaction reports is EudraVigilance, verified by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and they are now reporting 46,160 fatalities, and 4,623,724 injuries following injections of five experimental COVID-19 shots:
• COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE MODERNA (CX-024414)
• COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE PFIZER-BIONTECH
• COVID-19 VACCINE ASTRAZENECA (CHADOX1 NCOV-19)
• COVID-19 VACCINE JANSSEN (AD26.COV2.S)
• COVID-19 VACCINE NOVAVAX (NVX-COV2373)
From the total of injuries recorded, almost half of them (2,106,816) are serious injuries.
“Seriousness provides information on the suspected undesirable effect; it can be classified as ‘serious’ if it corresponds to a medical occurrence that results in death, is life-threatening, requires inpatient hospitalisation, results in another medically important condition, or prolongation of existing hospitalisation, results in persistent or significant disability or incapacity, or is a congenital anomaly/birth defect.”
A Health Impact News subscriber in Europe ran the reports for each of the four COVID-19 shots we are including here. It is a lot of work to tabulate each reaction with injuries and fatalities, since there is no place on the EudraVigilance system we have found that tabulates all the results.
