Captain, you usually post some really good stuff on here. As in you’ve done your research. But it sounds like you have a hair across your ass regarding golf and golfers. I am at golf courses multiple times per week. I play in leagues and associate with many golfers. Very few doctors and lawyers around.
Pro golfers pay taxes on their earnings.
A number of courses where PGA tour events are held are actually public courses owned by municipalities. For just two examples I give you Bethpage State park in NY which has five golf courses one of which frequently hosts the U.S. Open. And the famed Torrey Pines in San Diego which hosts a PGA Tour event every spring while also hosting many other USGA and PGA events.
Yeah, I was talkin’ out my ass a little bit there in regards to the PGA. I mainly just wanted to point out how they’re acting with regards to LIV, they’re really throwing shade on their rivals. Plus, the PGA does need to have some competition, it’s healthy and good for golf.
But their hypocrisy about where LIV’s getting their money is just too much for me.
