And yet the human cattle are still living in fear of the virus and won’t hesitate to jump on the needle at the first opportunity.
Went to the doctor yesterday. Big signs about wearing mask MANDATORY.
Except they are not. Questioned the head Karen at the desk, “are you still claiming mask make a difference? You do know they are NOT mandatory indoors and you are making up rules?”.
Indignant, beet red face, “Mask protect us!”, “It is the law!”. It is not a law and never has been. It WAS a decree with no legal teeth.
I wore a mask from reception to examination room, then tossed it in the bin. Sat in examination room for 10 minutes. In walks doctor, mask hanging from ear. Takes it off and sits down, 3 feet from me. Room is only 6 feet long so no ‘social distancing’.
Seems the doctor has some sense. Turns out he is from Yugoslavia. He laughed about the mask and the Karen’s behavior when I mentioned it. He said that they are afraid and think that having people wear masks protects them and he has no interest in debating it with them. I assume that his ‘ear protecting’ mask is what has the girls in front so pissed off.
Great doctor, idiot staff.
