The Kremlin has demonstrated that Russia is reluctant to take decisive action

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The Kremlin has demonstrated that Russia is reluctant to take decisive action.  That doesn’t mean Russia won’t.  Indeed, the Kremlin’s reluctance almost guarantees that Russia will be forced into decisive action.

Ukraine steals Russian  assets — https://www.rt.com/business/560345-ukraine-seized-russian-assets/ — and Ukraine outside Donbass is permitted life as a country at peace. There is no Russian interference with the government with which it is at war. This encourages more Ukrainian provocations.

Instead of retaliation against her enemies, Russia cooperates with them. Russia permits Ukrainian grain to flow, thus providing Ukraine with more funds for war with Russia.  Is the Kremlin more concerned with the hunger of foreigners than with the life of its own soldiers? https://www.rt.com/russia/560389-grain-ships-ports-turkey/  Washington wants to brand Russia a terrorist state, and Russia continues to ferry US astronauts to the space station, carrying on a partnership with a country with which Russia is at war.

Russia tolerates Ukraine’s attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear reactor with artillery fire.  Why permit Ukrainian forces anywhere close to a nuclear reactor?  Surely at this late stage the Kremlin doesn’t assume the Ukrainian government has any sense or any humanity.  https://sputniknews.com/20220806/russian-military-calls-kievs-shelling-of-zaporozhye-npp-nuclear-terrorism-1099343688.html Despite being at war with the US and Europe, which keep the “limited military operation” in Donbass going with weapons supplied to Ukraine, the Kremlin continues to enable Russia’s enemies by continuing to supply Europe with energy.

The West does not see these as actions of a country that goes to war with serious intent.

If the Kremlin had turned off the energy, the Kremlin could have brought NATO and Ukraine to their knees without a “limited military operation.”

If the Kremlin had accepted Donbass back into Russia in 2014, as Russia did for Crimea, there would have been no Ukrainian attacks on Donbass requiring Russian intervention.

The Kremlin has created the impression that it is incapable of proactive thought and action, and only reacts when there is no other choice.

The Kremlin does not understand politics or the media.  Extremely defensive, the leadership rushes to deny every accusation, which keeps the accusations in the news.  Russia’s denials mean nothing to the West.  The Kremlin would benefit from ignoring the accusations and cutting off all supplies and cooperation with the West.

Will the Kremlin ever learn that Russia does not benefit from the Goody Two Shoes role?  This role conveys weakness and does nothing but encourage more provocations of Russia, thus building up to a larger and more serious conflict.

Will the Kremlin’s Goody Two Shoes restraint result in a Ukrainian Chernobyl?

Another ridiculous article by Paul Craig Roberts on the subject of Russian passivity. Russia took decisive action by invading Ukraine. They are also winning the war through detailed, incremental action. It is typically modern American to want issues settled immediately, but the Russians have a historical view which favours long term planning, and implementation. Now that Pelosi has roused the Chinese dragon Russia has time even more on their side, as the Chinese will support the Russians with whatever resources they need. Previous to the speakers visit to Taiwan the Chinese support to Russia was qualified by a policy of limiting action so as not to anger the Americans too much. Time is now definitely on the Russians side. Another war the North Atlantic Treat Organization nations are losing.

Well said, PCR is a joke. The real war for Americans is right here and right now on own soil against our own Government. When will we break the chains? When will we say, enough?

We won’t. Football season upon us! Gotta get the beer and Cheetos to add on the extra 10 lbs for this year. Most Americans don’t have a clue as to what is going on and no desire to learn.

Here’s another angle — what if at the highest levels of the Deep-St8s & beyond, this is all choreographed?

Then these things would make much more sense:
—Russia permits Ukrainian grain to flow
—Russia continues to ferry US astronauts to the space station
—Russia continues to supply Europe with energy

“Pattern is prophecy” — or better yet, go with the conclusion that the data leads you to.

It doesn’t [make sense]?
What are you saying here: that the real goal of Russia was (or should be) to starve everybody else?

Bullshit!
The USSA is being systematically destroyed by Russia. The best part is that the US is doing the heavy lifting against itself. Sanctions imposition that hurt it’s very own people. Engaging in self destructive proxy wars. Depleting arms stores by supplying those wars. Mass genocide of it’s children by pedophilia, vaccination and abortion. Destruction of the family unit in so many ways. Uncontrolled borders is likely the last straw.

PCR absolutely insists that Russia fight the way the USA!USA!USA! fights. That is to say, SHOCK & AWE!!. Yeah, baby, let’s destroy water filtration plants, power plants, communications … all in the first two days!! So fucken what if half a million CIVILIANS die in the process. Didn’t Satan’s girlfriend, Madeline Allnotsobright, say it was worth it? It’s just collateral damage, dontchya know, —> and it’s OK if WE do it!

He is too damned stupid to even grasp the idea that Russia has it’s own military doctrine. And, btw, that doctrine is decimating Ukraine one day at a time.

It’s a goddamn shame that that POS gets so much air time here, especially since I believe there are not 5 TPBers who find his “analysis” worth reading.
