It would be much safer, more convenient, and more sanitary, for both the homeless people and everyone else, if the cities with large homeless populations built campgrounds (or converted existing parks) for the homeless to pitch their tents. This would give the homeless people bathrooms, trash removal, etc, and the cost of these services to the city would be much less than the money they currently spend policing and cleaning up after the homeless. It would also keep them from blocking sidewalks and otherwise obstructing people. (You notice how the pedestrians in this video are walking in the street because the sidewalks are blocked.) This is such a no-brainer that I can’t understand why it isn’t already being done. There must be some sort of political correctness reason why this is unacceptable to the woke people who run these cities. Of course it would be better if they actually came up with a solution to the homelessness problem, but given the fact that these cities are run by woke libtards it is unlikely that that will ever happen. But short of that they could at least manage the problem better.

I think we should give them 3/4 of Nevada. Separate the mentally incapacitated from the hopelessly irresponsible and force them to create communities and live with each other. Have their survival dependent on growing their own food and policing themselves. They want total freedom? They get to have it and the consequences, and responsible society is free of them willing to accept back any truly reformed after the rude awakening.
I suspect that the still free but potential future losers in the other 49 states might just suddenly figure out how to stay stable knowing where they’re headed if they don’t keep it together. I don’t think this radical idea is necessarily crazy. Got a better one? It can’t be something already tried and failed.

If you are living on the streets you obviously cannot take care of yourself so the State needs to take you into custody and decide what your issue is. People who are too mentally ill to care for themselves need to be taken care of, and the rest need to be put in work camps somewhere outside the cities. If and when you prove you can take care of yourself you can be released, but if you relapse, you go right back. These people do not have the right to degrade the standard of living for everyone else. If they want to be shitbums, they better go hide in the woods like the old days.
Go on youtube and look at New York and San Francisco in the 1940’s and 1950’s when they had vagrancy laws. They were clean decent places to live.
