Ron and Rand Paul are national treasures. Most, but not all, of the rest of the political establishment is just garbage that needs to be removed.

I used to have hop for Rand. I don’t think it is possible to remain uncorrupted in that chamber.
Rand ain’t Ron. He has much of the same sound money ideas and inputs on war as dad yet loose as a goose with endorsements as in caving to the status quo party line.
What a hero. I love the story of Reagan trying to coax him to support the latest killing machine back in the day. So Reagan took him on Air Force One to pitch him until they got to Houston. Normally that would work on any politician (they all yearn to be HMFWIC) but not Dr. Paul. At the end of Reagan’s pitch, Dr. Paul pulled out a pocket version of the Constitution and told Reagan to find the part that justified the expense. Didn’t work. He never caved. In 44 years. Not once.
I enjoyed the fact Ron Paul does not simply throw endorsements around.
