I really dodged a bullet here.
I had to give up my gas stove when I moved…and I MISS it SO much! No gas lines to the country. No plans for it either.
Now, I have a smooth electric cooktop. SUCKS too! But, it’s easy to keep clean.
That’s just a testament to my excellent cooking skills – no one has even noticed a difference in my spectacular cuisine at my dinner parties. TRUST me – everyone is begging for an invitation.
Welp, with that attitude, you’ll never know. Yes, SPECTACULAR.

Thought about it. But, it’s not really practical. You have to find an appliance that’s been modified for that – at least that’s what I learned (didn’t research a whole lot). Then, you have to have someone come out and fill the tank when it’s low. Just sounds like too much work.
AA – I have been cooking on electric ranges my whole life and cannot cook very well on a gas stove (which I had 1 year of college). One of the secrets is to turn the burner off before you are finished and let the residual heat finish the meal.

It seems people have a strong preference for one or the other. I just really like cooking on gas ranges, but I’m figuring it all out.
I had gas lines put into two houses with electric stoves. Gas is way better for adjusting your cooking temperature, and you can also light them with a match when the power goes out, and they also heat your home when the power goes out.
And that’s the problem. If the WEF or the regime of former Vice President Biden decide that you’re problamatic, some cold winter night they can use the internet of things smart thermost, or smart stove to shut off your heat. They can shut down specific appliances
Why do you think that the regime is paying people to get new smart breaker boxes and appliances?
Because the usurper could say the climate emergency means that they need to shut down appliances for a day or so.
Can’t do.that with a gas stove, actually have to shut off tue gas to do that.
It’s because the gas stove is something that they can’t easily control, and it drives them crazy.

I grew up with LP gas, not much different. You can get dual bottles or a tank. Yet Biden has increased the cost of that fuel significantly also.
Years ago my mom put in one of those glass.top stove tops and a while later flames came out of the burner.
I’m sure that in the last fifty or so years they have improved them, but I am still going to give them a hard pass.

Frisco already banned wood burning so I guess next they’ll be coming for your Coleman stove. They sure don’t want us to eat do they? I guess ze bugs don’t need cooking.
