People working at MDs should be making $25/hr or more to make a wage they can live on. These then same people complain and can’t understand why that $5 burger is now $12. They floated the trial balloon a couple of days ago and have already announced they have no plans to ban gas cooking stoves. Some idiot came up with the idea, but the public did not buy into it. The idea will be mothballed for a year or so and then brought back up to see if it can gain traction.

When our furnace failed in the middle of January up here in the Great White North, we were able to keep the house from freezing by using our gas fire place for a couple days until a replacement furnace could be installed. No worries about freezing pipes. Made a note that any place we buy going forward must have at least 2 heat sources available, be it electric, natural gas, propane or wood stove, just in case.
If the past couple years hasn’t made it clear that the Davos crowd hates you and they believe you are the carbon that needs to be eliminated, what more evidence do you need? They want you trapped near cities with your electric car, with a smart meter on your house and no gas furnace or alternate heat source, and they mean to starve or freeze you to death in the name of saving the planet, while achieving their real goal of taking all the world’s spoils for themselves. Going all electric will collapse the electrical grids, end Western civilization and lead to the deaths of millions of people, which is exactly what the predator class of elites want.
It would be nice if Gates would take up hunting. No end of guides lining up to help him get the big one.

ChingCheneyI just went to buy a couple of chicken sandwiches. At Popeye’s they wanted $9 just for the sandwich; Wendy’s was $7.70; Church’s had a combo meal for only $8. Guess who won my business.
Chicken, milk, eggs and meat have all gone up at least $2-3 each in the last year, and everything else has gone up too — our sacrificing for Ukraine no doubt — along with many of our fertilizer plants and gas refineries. (You farmers know how ridiculous fertilizer has gotten better than me. I feel the gas sting because I do deliveries.)
Does anyone here believe this is only a “recession” or a “transitory” thing? Or is it all planned? Do they perhaps have everything they intend to do to crash the world and its economy written down somewhere (surely not; only truly arrogant psychos would do such a thing)?
Here is a great example of where this is headed: I recently received a job offer for almost the same thing I did up until about 5 years ago making $30/hr; now, this same job starts at $22/hr. — $25 with experience.

It is quite apparent that lower pay, higher taxes and governmental malfeasance is how the playing field has been tilted in favor of banks and corporations. They made record profits last year, unsurprisingly since our attention has been on Ukraine! and Ye and Twitter Files and racism and whatever string of letters they make up, like BLM and LGBTQ and CONVID, and this trend will continue until we have been deprived of all our wealth and wake up homeless on the very Continent our Forefathers conquered, to paraphrase a smarter man than me.
What amazes me is, we all know who is doing this, yet we allow it to continue. Well, I suppose, the good news is we do not have much road left, and we passed the Last Call gas station (or the last charging stand) about 50 years back.
The bad news is, I think I am destined to be here for The End. Hopefully of everything. So nobody can ever do this again.

Arch- I set the timer and put it on “Nero Wolfe” youtubes. Listening to Nero rant and rave does it for me. Try it you’ll like it, it’s a lot like a day of being on the TBP comment board.

Reminds of when I was a Boy Scout on a weekend overnight with the guys. About 11pm the storm rolls in and by midnight every tent is sitting in 3″ of water with not a dry thing anywhere.
