The clip is the boy asking a robot about the future of mankind who replies that it is in our nature to destroy ourselves referring to our tendency to always make war. I think that is not a totally unsupportable statement; man has always waged war and destroyed millions and millions over the millennia. The robot does not claim that we wont make it (makes no reference about that); only that war is in our nature. The boy, however, rises above this dismal view and survives and becomes a better man, a soldier, a resistance fighter and leader of men.
