My TinFoil Hat is Shining

Relating to the picture Madame DeFarge has put up. It is amazing to watch whenever there is a good dumping of snow everyone screams Global Cooling ala Ice Age Farmer and the Solar Minimum, the amount of “recorded sea ice slush” etc. Whenever it is hot, the Warming crew come out and screech pollution, a thinner ozone, anthropogenic, gas stoves and cow farts. I left government manipulation out of both. Because the Government has the ability manipulate weather both ways. This has led to everyone being in one camp or the other. The masses are honestly confused whether we are heating, cooling or staying the same. I have lived in the same general area my whole life. When I was going through school I always would go down to the local creek during the Christmas holidays, and it would be frozen enough to skate on year after year. Some colder years we had never ending(a couple of weeks of) -16c, and the Creek would be frozen by Dec.25th. Mostly it was around -5c . Some warmer years it would always freeze before we went back to school in early Jan. Pretty dependable ice enough to skate on within a week or two. The Frozen Ice would rarely break up before March. And usually around March break. A couple of decades later, we still have winter, but it is totally different. The Creek might actually freeze over during the winter but it never lasts. Neither does a ground pack of snow. We still used to get a fair amount of snow, but now it mostly rains, especially this winter. It hit -16c once this year so far, but higher than freezing day after day. This Fall I have witnessed many interesting forms of “freezing rain and snow”. Such as graupel, ice pellets, rice pellets, and perfect sphere pellets, weird rain that freezes super cold etc. But most interesting is the freezing rain, it seems liquid but still solid, almost like cold molasses. Based on my history of the area, I would come to the conclusion, Warming is happening. In the summer we can get real hot and humid. To be frank our summers haven’t really changed or got much more hotter. In fact this past summer I only used one window air conditioner vs two. Based on that I would say Cooling and Somewhat Same is happening. Overall the effects from it, you would expect to be minor. Far from it. Over this past summer, we had such severe drought approx. 5% of the trees died easy. Another 5% were badly damaged and I expect to see many dead limbs become obvious this spring. During the early summer drought last June, which lasted approx, 6 weeks long. The air almost seemed to be sucking moisture right out of the trees, plants, the ground, and especially the roots and trunks of the trees. By the middle of July you could see leaves start wilting on sacrificed limbs of trees. I wonder if they’ll come back this spring. While some other trees completely wilted and dropped their leaves dead. The tree damage went kinda unnoticed by most people. And some were cut down before winter. The speed at which the trees and even the pine seemed to on edge was surprising. This despite the Sun overall didn’t seem so intense. Maybe this spared the trees this year. So the last couple of summers have seemed cooler but more damage occurred. And this brings us to my point, whether or not the weather is warming, cooling, manipulated, or in outright panic mode moderation by Government/Private entities. The Damage occurring is very real and the intensity is worrying. Flash freeze and deluge events parallel long term drought and heatwaves. You do not need a report or a guru or measurements in degrees ,mph, inches, kPa or acreage burned/flooded. The normal environment enjoyed 2 decades ago is very different from the one we experience today. So whether you believe it is warming or cooling or unchanged. The reality is the Damage to the Ecosystem is worsening.
