Be your own central bank.

Pay off your debt now!

Do not buy a new car or house. Do not go on vacation or out to eat until your debt is paid off.

You will thank me when the economy tanks.

Honest question. I personally do not have any debt, always lived debt free as I personally do not like living beholden to any one.

BUT… Why be debt free if the economy is going to collapse?? Your debt will be finished along with everything else. Plus if you have debt not tied to inflation you could use the wildly devalued money to pay off your debt.

I hear the argument that you’ll lose everything. I’m thinking that won’t necessaily be the case. What would any loan/bank institution do with the millions of houses, cars, land etc etc?? They could not confiscate everything but would likely try make an example of a few to frighten the many into volunteering to leave their properties.

Reasonable or not?? What do people think?? Maybe the show would be hastened by everyone going into as much debt as possible and defaulting…
