I was ‘always told’ if it doesn’t make sense, follow the money! The other advise that seems to be ‘always true’ is, don’t go deaf or blind because you haven’t seen or heard it all yet! Good luck with life.

I was among them per se as a USAF Officer and when I’d chastise MF’ers for cowardassness of silence they would always say that saying anything would harm their career (True). Better other people die than their career be harmed. Everybody adopted the very “Jewish” corporate attitude of the Generals being promoted by the democrats it seemed to me; I served under Gen Melvin Zais (famous for Pork Chop Hill Strategy) and he was arrogant, stupid, self-centered, spoiled, mean, show boat, rule breaker himself, greedy, gold plated asshole, etc. Gen Hague (NATO Commander) was haughty I think and spoiled too.

COVID: unvaccinated people may be seen as ‘free riders’ and face discrimination

The authors of the study interpret this finding through the lens of the psychology of human cooperation. That is, in countries with a pronounced sense of civic duty and individual responsibility towards the common good, people who benefit from the collective effort without contributing their part are perceived as “free riders”.

The power of entitling billions of new “victims” is real. But at this point it’s just more noise in the system that will fall regardless. The cannibalism is well underway.

Most of us Purebloods have already lost some combination of businesses, jobs/careers, opportunities, life savings, friends, social networks, family bonds, and so on.

The ones responsible for propagating the lie and tyranny, regardless of their individual enthusiasm, will be offered a way out of that responsibility. That is for certain.

But they have already burned all the goodwill and allowed the sides to be drawn and us anti-vaxxer/selfish/ignorant/republican/Trumper/conspiracy theorist/Qanon/outcasts to be made into second class nonpersons.

Blaming us will work just like blaming us for not desiring to “date” trannies works. It has more to do with TPTB wrangling the pathologies in the herd than anything.

The sheeple and unfortunates with spikey blood will have their chance to repent and to try to make things right with us. The choice on offer: snip an olive branch or reach for the globohomo monkey branch to keep the spice flowing.

Personally, I like knowing exactly who my enemies are and where the threats are most concentrated. That has been the gift of covid from the beginning. While jarring and disheartening at times to see people lose their minds and fall into total submission so easily, it was illuminating to see just how far gone things are beneath the various facades of modernity.

And to then sort out my personal appetites for risk and proximity to the various carriers of these spiritual and social pestilences. Their blame will go unheard by me because they are dangerous and frankly unpleasant and so I have largely agreed and amplified with their Pureblood purge. The drawbridge will not so easily go down for the repentant. If they choose blame, bring it on. The cauldron of boiling oil is ready to go over the wall.

Here is a WTF!

Just got back from the VA taking my FIL for an inspection of his recent scalp cancer surgery. Looks good!

Besides all the usual questions the doctor said she was now required to ask him if he was Gay or Straight?

Even with hearing aids he is almost deaf but he has learned to read lips…but she is masked up…as he is…but as usual mine is under my chin (no one has ever said a word and that is how I roll when I have to take him).

So she has to repeat the question three times getting louder and louder…and the look on this tough old grizzled West Texas former oil field worker, former Marine, Korean War Vet’s face when he looked at me in confusion and I loudly repeat it to him…starting to laugh…and he finally understands what she was asking him…was priceless.

The doctor then apologized but said that question is now required.

Now I’m laughing hard…he is looking at her speeachless like she is a raving lunatic foaming at the mouth…and she looks at me and says a little embrassed: “I’ll just put down straight”.

Then he says under his breath … “Well, I’m happy…but I’m defiantly not Gay”!

Now I’m doubled over…

Oh yea…and when she asked him if he wanted the flu shot I answered for him with a loud NO!

She was silent…pursed her lips…thought about pushing it or at least asking why…accuretly read my response…then moved on.

Concur, I just changed primary “care” provider this week and they have automated interview system with similar questions but stating, “Federal govt requires we ask the following questions about sexual preference/gender.” Infuriatingly the closest correct answer for my God-given deoxyribonucleic acid being XY was, “Identifies as Male,” not IS MALE.

I answered sexual preference with “Don’t know” because “Why are tax dollars being used to build this unconstitutional database?” wasn’t on the list. Apologies for not getting screen shots but, sooner or later, all citizens/subjects will be navigating this bug-in-a-jar interrogation.

MC, I had mine just done. They asked me nothing of the sort.
Pre-op, I was informed I’d be C tested.
I don’t believe I was.
They did do an iodine swab? of my nasal cavities just prior to going in to
the O.R.
I wasn’t in a position or a lucid enough state of mind to demand they were not to do such a swab.
Did they actually test me for C-19, under the guise of misleading BS?
Not sure.
This is where I need Nurse to weigh in, but, seeing as how this thread is a day or 2 old, not sure if she’ll see it.
Did the swab actually contain something nefarious, and now I possibly have, that is pushing the agenda on unsuspecting non-vaxxed? I don’t know that either.
FYI, my total hip joint replacement went exceptionally well.
Am in healing and recovery mode, but getting around very well, too.
Amazing, how the current state of medical technology performs my procedure these days.
Outpatient surgical center.
In by 10:30; out by 5:30 and sent home.
Over night stay not even an option; nor was it required.
Anterior incision.
Only real bad pain was at the point of incision in post-op. Burning sensation, especially with leg movement, right at the incision point. Felt like acid was on it.
So, too, when I tried to sleep in bed the 1st night at home, lying flat.
Two hours later, woke up in excruciating pain in the repaired leg’s thigh and at the new joint.
Once up, and moving, the pain subsided.
The theory is, while nodding out in that position, in bed, the leg and joint settled into a slightly rotated position, a no no so soon after replacement.
Moved to the recliner, and fell back to sleep, comfortably, especially after dosing 1 or 2 of the pain meds that were advised.
Was only given 2 prescriptions,
1 was a 2 capsules only anti infectant, at 8 hours after surgery, then at 16 hours after surgery. New joint and incision infection vulnerability is a major concern to prevent against, by the people who served me.
The other scrip was Oxycodone, a 30 pill supply, tiny, and only 5 mg.
Besides that, I was advised to use Motrin-Ibuprofen, and Tylenol.
Added an OTC stool softener, and 81 mg aspirin at their instruction.
We staggered the meds, alternating between the 4 types at 4-hour intervals round the clock the first 3 days after surgery.
I felt blessed, that I’ve been able to maintain a pain level of 1-2, on the 1 to 10 pain scale guidelines, which I was told is exceptionally low pain, or exceptionally high pain tolerance.
They insisted on using the compression socks over the calves, and even set me up with a battery operated pair of velcro wrap compression devices that slowly ramp up pressure by squeezing the calves with inflated air, then quickly releasing the pressure.
Once charged, the battery operation compression cycle calf wraps will run for about 8 hours. So they said use those when a sleep session occurs.
Beyond that, drink lots of water, MOVE often. Once per hour, get up and walk, with a walker for assistance, which I abandoned after 3 days post-op, and switched to a cane, frequently not even needing that.
Three days post op, I was able to shower myself, dress myself, and was cooking for myself at home alone.
I only needed a caretaker support person round the clock for the 1st 24 hours, and she was helpful in waking up, and issuing meds in that staggered method every 2 hours.
The 2nd day, a substitute caretaker was with me, but left a few times, at my insistence, as I felt OK to make do on my own.
By the 3rd day post-op, I didn’t even need a support person / caretaker.
Had my 1st physical therapy session on this past Monday night, a mere 3 days after leaving the O.R.
Have some swelling, soreness, and brief instances of mild discomfort, but, by and large, am doing fine.
As of this writing (Wednesday at 10-11 am), feeling great, and moving around very, very well.
Had a 2nd shower today, without the need to even use the shower bench seat I was provided, by a friend who went through 2 hip joint replacements.
Able to dress myself relatively easy, but that process takes a little more time than usual. The hardest part was getting socks and pants legs up and over the foot of the surgically repaired leg.
A sock puller upper helped a lot in that regard.
It’s a flexible plastic half pipe, about 8 inches long, calf width, with ropes and handles to pull the sock on, and up, after cinching the sock to be worn onto the half pipe. Once the sock is part-way on, the half pipe is easily taken away from the leg for removal.
An extended arm grabber, trigger operated is used to grab and reach things, and for helping pull up socks on the repaired leg, as bending down to do so as I’d normally do, or lifting the repaired leg up, is a bitch at first because of the limited range of motion with the thigh muscles, that are weakened from the surgery.
PT is to slowly increase range of motion with the new joint, and to exercise for strength building of the weak, sore muscles of the thigh around the incision point.
It’s been a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, in all aspects of the operation, the post-op, the healing, and the physical therapy.
I’ve already been up and down my basement steps (10-12), to go do a load of laundry, LOL.
Hopefully, my report doesn’t jinx me, and things get more difficult.
The smart phone has been a technological godsend, for communicating with inquiries from family and friend well wishers, asking how I’m doing.
So far, so good.

But, MC, since you’ve already had one hip done, I suspect much of what I reported here is familiar to you.
But maybe some of what I said was helpful to you, and or others who might be looking at having to get a total hip joint replacement.
I expect 2-3 months of rehab and physical therapy, which should only improve the healing and recovery process as it progresses.
Good Luck with your 2nd one.
They have the technology.
They can rebuild us.
It’s been an interesting adventure, and others who have had it done tell me the arthritis and bone spur pain at the joint will be gone. I’m told I’ll be able to resume normal physical activity pain free, in about 3 months. Woo hoo.
Was also told I will wish I would have done it months ago, instead of delaying or procrastinating getting it done. I feel that way already. Had a great surgeon.
Take care. Mary Christine.
~ Cheers!

Edit / add: an elevated toilet seat was crucial, for the 1st 2 or 3 BM’s, and they were right about the stool softener requirement, as the surgery and meds combo can plug you up a little bit.
And squatting down on the typical commode was beyond the limit, for the comfortable range of motion to bend at 90 degrees from hip to torso, hip to knee, and knee to foot on the floor.

Sounds like you are doing really well! So glad to hear that. I had to stay one night which I was unhappy about but in retrospect I’m glad I did because pain management for me was a problem. My scar is on the side of my hip, anterior ? I think, I forget at the moment.

Regarding the nasal swab, I had some blood tests and a nasal swab the nurse said was to test for MRSA. If they did a Covid test, it did not show up on any EOB I got back from insurance. I have Blue Cross as primary and Medicare as secondary as my husband is still employed.

It sounded like your pre-surgery pain was excruciating so I can see how surgery pain would seem like a breeze. I did not procrastinate so the surgery pain was about the same around 6-7, just different type of pain.

I have been exercising, walking on a treadmill and doing some mild weight lifting and now my thigh is aching somewhat. I just talked to the nurse and she said healing is still in progress and to take it easy for about a week to see if it goes away. Just an FYI.

Ahhh. I’m glad you caught my comment, and grateful to see your response.
Yeah, I was enduring hip pain for about 2-2.5 years, if you can believe that. The reasons for procrastinating are multiple, and I don’t need to go into that here, among the potential critics and their snarky comments.
My hip pain pre-op was never the same level, never constant until the last few months, and it would come and go, based on my activity level for exercise.
I was an athlete all my life, and when the hip started acting up, I had to dial back way too much of the workout sports I formerly enjoyed. Had to quit playing hockey, quit cycling, roller blading, and more. The net effect was, my leg muscles weakened due to minimal activity, where formerly I had good strong muscle mass.
Not big, and not a lot of body fat made me a prime candidate for this procedure to be easy for the surgeon, and yes, in retrospect,
I should have had it done months ago.
Sometimes it would just ache, and other times I hardly noticed it.
Other times, with a certain movement, it felt like someone was shivving me with an ice pick deep into the joint. Sucked. Those instances were pain level 8 or 9, easily.
I was popping NSAIDs as preventative, just so I could comfortably walk around the golf course.
Toward the end, I had a noticeable limp that sports friends and coworkers were always asking me what was up, Gimpy?
Re: Anterior cut vs. Posterior cut, I believe mine, at top of thigh, and yours, at side of thigh are both considered anterior / front entry cuts.
I was told anterior surgery is a piece of cake, and the healing time is easier. A friend just had a hip resurfacing, vs. replacement. I’m not sure why, but they did him with a posterior cut, and had to cut through tendons and ligaments? if I have it right, and I was told his recovery is more painful and longer lasting. His incision is more toward the rear, way closer to his ass cheek. Longer cut, too.
I haven’t seen it yet, but I believe I’ll have a 4-5 inch scar, but I don’t care about that, as long as it heals and doesn’t get infected.
Re: your first one, I can’t remember what you said before…how long ago was that one done? I’m guessing relatively recently, if you working out caused your PT consultant to advise you not to push too hard, and it’s still healing.
Kudos to you, for scheduling your 2nd one so close to the first.
Damn. I’m impressed.

One other thing. At my Ortho Doc / Surgeons evaluation on 12/29, they took x-rays, and he did a couple manipulations to gauge range of motion and watched how I moved, his diagnosis was severe arthritis with bone spurs, but also said the socket of my sacrum, where the ball joint goes in, was genetically not 100% grown out where it should be, completely over the ball.
He might have said I could have problems on the left side eventually; I’ll have to ask him in my post-op follow up appt. at his office on 2/2/23.
Hell, I might have to become a two-fer just like you.
But, he said my right side should be good for 30 years.
I chose that, over getting a cortisone steroid shot for temporary relief / band aid fix, that could last as little as one month, and as long as possibly 6 months.
I’m glad I got it done.
Last points…
During my consultation / evaluation, I told him: Look. I’m not vaxxed and don’t want to be. His response:
“I don’t give a damn about that.” Very cool.

One of the best moves I made heading into this affair?
A two pronged effort to grease the skids, and ensure I’d be taken care of well.
On pre-op office visit at Ortho’s office, 3 days before surgery, I took a baked goodies gift basket in there for 6-8 people that cost me $50.
Then, bought another one, at $80, and carried that into the outpatient surgery center, addressed to O.R. staff.
That was a big hit, with everybody there. Muffins, cookies, scones, tea cakes, brownies.
Just before surgery, my knife comes to see me and asks me:
“What? Do you drive around with gift baskets in your car? WTF?”

It’s amazing how well you get treated, when you bring small tokens or goodies for all the people working on you before the event, than waiting to check results, and thanking them after.
It’s a good karma technique that I highly recommend.
They frickin’ loved me.

“Did the swab actually contain something nefarious, and now I possibly have, that is pushing the agenda on unsuspecting non-vaxxed? I don’t know that either.”

There have been rumors, and I have wondered about that myself. My current thought? Probably not. If there were some even moderately reliable way of doing whatever it is they want to do (i.e., killing as many of us as possible) by use of swabs, then they could have just implemented a swab testing program WITHOUT the need for such massive vaxxing. Or they could likely do the same thing with simple misting. I would expect them to have just used mosquito control spraying, street washers, nose sprays, perfumes, bathroom blow dryers, or any number of public ways to spread the poison. It took a LOT of fear porn to make people line up for the injections. I think that whatever they had in mind REQUIRED an injection.

Just my two cents worth.

The last straw for me was when I was new to the Kaiser system 10 years ago and the idiot doc wanted to know if I have guns in the house. Told him it was none of his or Kaiser’s business.

Parody? Maybe — but read the other articles. Yes, they are all unhinged, but they sure READ like Progressive anti-reason. I may be wrong, but I think they are for real. I do hold out a slim chance that they are written by AI, after being requested specifically for an extreme anti-vaxx subject and treatment.

I do. I like that there is consequence.

This is people paying for their own arrogance and willful ignorance (stupidity) with their lives or health.

I did not cause it. I did not want it. I am not happy about it. But I will enjoy watching the “you are paranoid”, “you don’t know more than the doctors” and “you are selfishly endangering others” types drop dead.

Fuck them and the horse named Sanctimony they rode in on.

Another liberal blaming others for their own innate insouciant stupidity. I told people to not take the Shot and why, even handed out a leaflet I wrote explaining what mRNA is, how it works in the body, the harmful sequences spliced into the CV-19 Spike Proteins and why it would be stupid to take the Shot. Most people took the shot, even my son. Now they blame the unvaccinated Conservatives for their own liberal hard headed know-it-all refusal to listen to more intelligent people, and their own lazy ignorance to learn basic human biology themselves. The same applies to economics, politics esp vote fraud, climate, sociology, prepping, the Holy Shroud and True Bible History, etc. There is no hope for Neanderthals, Luddites, and liberals. They breed like rats but follow the Hollywood and Sports heroes like Lemmings off every fad cliff. Congratulations on winning the Darwin Award.
