I am currently working at our location on the New Mexico / Mexico border. I can see the border and a legal border crossing from the plant. Today, I personally witnessed 18-20 illegals cross the border dressed in all black with my own eyes. They had cut a hole in the border fence, ran about 500 yards into New Mexico, then picked up by SUV’s within 2 minutes.
One illegal was left behind, hiding in the bushes 20 feet from me. Border Patrol was called but there was no response as of the time that I left (about 20 minutes later). This all happened 200 yards from a legal border crossing staffed with Border Control. I have read the stories, but seeing it first hand brings things to a whole new perspective.
Yes, the border is that bad!

Besides, in many states it’s illegal to hire unlicensed individuals to do work for which a license is required (which often includes public liability insurance requirements). Picture your wetback somehow getting injured on your property or working under your direction as a homeowner … it’s quite possible that the ‘worker’ will end up owing your house and the rest of your stuff … and then go back to mexico or whatever 3d world schitthole from which he/she came to collect it. States will declare the ‘worker’ to have been in your direct employ — and the ‘worker’ will collect on a workers compensation theory … I’ve seen it happen when I used to practice law in CA.
And legitimate contractors that hire these wetbacks are exposing themselves to the same sorts of grifting …
Besides … in all my 25+ years in construction, even 10 wetbacks at $5 an hour aren’t worth one good worker at $20 an hour …
Where I live the factories are desperate for labor. Many high school students are forgoing college because the starting pay is above what an art history major can make at Starbucks.
Yet they cannot find enough employees. If a bus load was sent to my city they would have a job in 24 hours.
Not enough native born workers is a byproduct of having a lucrative welfare system. Two things would fix the illegal alien system.
1. Get rid of the welfare system and make the people work or be supported by family/church
2. Perp walk a couple of high profile CEO’s for hiring illegal aliens and the job will dry up.

When I see the video of the people invading our country, it is at least 75% young males who are of military age. I doubt the media will post any video showing the young male foreigners who are armed and trained crossing. At least the Trojans had an excuse for letting the invaders into their city.
