The Ever Widening War and Ever Widening Censorship

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The longer the Kremlin sits on its butt, the more the conflict widens.  It seems that what Moscow really wants is nuclear war with the US and NATO.

The Kremlin’s inaction guarantees that if there ever is a Russian offensive, Ukraine will be much better equipped to defend against it.

The Western media, a collection of the most disreputable and despicable beings on the planet, continues to cover up the extreme danger of the mRNA vaccine and US responsibility for the act of war against Russia committed by Biden blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines.

Germany Leads Western Nations in ‘Massive’ Excess Death Spike Since Covid Jab Rollout

Among highly vaccinated Western nations, Germany is leading the pack in excess deaths according to available data with a 44 percent increase recorded in January.  Denmark excess deaths spiked 30%. “Why isn’t this being discussed all over the place?” asks Dr. John Campbell.

The Nazi Censorship that controls social media other than Elon Musk’s Twitter Continues to Prohibit Truth from Reaching the people

Youtube has declared Seymour Hersh’s revelation of US responsibility for destroying the Nord Stream pipelines “inappropriate and offensive and a violation of community standards.”  As I have told you for years, the media exists for one purpose only: to fill you with lies and to suppress the truth.  Note that all the real journalists are in the alt-media.  Not a single one can be found at the NYT, NPR, CNN or any of the TV broadcasters.

As I reported the moment the pipelines were blown up, it is completely obvious that the US is responsible.  No other government would have dared to destroy a huge Russian investment and critical energy supply for Germany.  No other country had the capability of blowing the pipelines.  The cover story that Russia blew up its own pipelines is ludicrous.  What Hersh did was to prove the obvious.  https://www.lewrockwell.com/2023/02/ron-unz/banning-seymour-hershs-offensive-ideas/   Originally published in the Unz Review.

Does the Naive, Gullible, Ever-deceived Kremlin Still Think It Can Make a Deal with Neoconservative Regime that Seeks Russia’s Destruction?

The Kremlin has been plagued by difficulty in recognizing reality. A year ago Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov was pleading with US Secretary of State Blinken to go easy on Russia and cooperate on achieving mutual security.  This despite US foreign policy making it clear for three decades that its “principle purpose” is to prevent the rise of any country that can serve as a constraint on US unilateralism. In unilateralism there is no mutual security.  Does the Kremlin not read explicit statements of US foreign policy?  Can the Kremlin not recognize them in operation?  The Kremlin’s unreality is as responsible for the path to nuclear war as Washington’s aggression.  In Lavrov’s deceived mind, after rebuff after rebuff it was still “our Western partners.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday called on the U.S. to drop aggressive rhetoric in dialogue on security guarantees and demonstrate pragmatic approach to this topic, state-owned Tass news agency reports. Lavrov held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in which the Russian diplomat stressed the need to continue working together.

“On our part, it was stressed that it is necessary to continue joint work, as was agreed by Presidents [of Russia Vladimir] Putin and [of the United States Joe] Biden during their telephone call on February 12, in the context of the US and NATO proposals on security guarantees,” TASS quotes the Russian foreign ministry.

“Lavrov specially stressed the inadmissibility of aggressive rhetoric fanned by Washington and its closest allies and called for a pragmatic dialogue on the entire spectrum of issues raised by Russia, with a focus on the principle of indivisible security.”  https://newsaf.cgtn.com/news/2022-02-16/Russia-s-Lavrov-urges-Washington-to-drop-aggressive-rhetoric–17Gq240za1O/index.html

The Kremlin failed to  realize what damage such begging does to its credibility.  Little wonder the West believed Russia could be defeated and forced Russia’s intervention in Donbass.  The unwillingness of the Kremlin to use sufficient force to quickly end the war has resulted in an ever-expanding conflict.

Russia has been quite successful in the Ukraine campaign. Although the military progress has been slower than expected, the Russians are still prevailing on the field of battle. On the sanctions front Russia has trounced the west. The rubble has appreciated since the conflict started, while the economy in Russia has grown. This is verified even by the IMF. Meanwhile the west has been hard hit economically from the effects of losing the Russian supply of raw materials. Finally the Ukrainian conflict has divided NATO. Russia’s eventual success in the military fight has become an existential threat to NATO’s survival.

PCR is a Ukranian corruption cheerleader and a ‘Russia Russia Russia is evil believer’. Blind as a bat to reality on the subject. (Or a disinfo specialist).
Why is the US not held to the same standards? We invade everywhere, while Russia held it’s peace and could no longer do so with the ongoing Ukrainian atrocities on Russian people.

People can have many views that overlap.
People’s views and behavior can and does change over time.

Some people climb atop a soap box to scream “I found it.”
Two weeks later?
Same clown”Found it, better.”
Years later “Really found it! I was
wrong before, but now I’m sure
I’m right, you can totally trust me.”

80 year old to cats”I was wrong about almost everything I worried about”

The Offensive Begins Next Week

All of the signs are pointing to the Russian military transforming the Special Military Operation into a full-blown invasion of Ukraine next week. Simplicius goes into considerable detail about the mobilization and positioning of Russian forces and concludes that the invasion will be conducted on very different principles and will begin on the anniversary of the original operation…

While plans can always be called off or cancelled, I see no reason to doubt his conclusions. I don’t think there is any real question about whether the Russian offensive will begin soon or if it will be successful. Nor do I think there is much reason to fear an escalation to the nuclear level. For me, the real question is whether China is going to open the second front in harmony with the Russian actions, or whether Xi Xinping will continue to be patient in the hopes of a violence-free unification with China’s renegade island.

Regardless, you would do well to remember that the Russians historically prefer to launch offensives that are bigger and much more overwhelming than their enemies anticipate or even believe possible. And they have been preparing for this one for a long, long time. So, I suggest being prepared for the possibility that the media, as well as one’s friends and family, will start shrieking about World War III in a complete state of panic.

Wasn’t there to be a knock out blow by the Ruskies once winter hit and the muddy roads froze? Or has global warming offset those plans?

Censorship is rampant. There is no longer any semblance of free speech in the US. It is the US that is now the evil empire…

Lol, awesome! They’ll gauge public acceptance of this narrative through social media. If necessary, a new PR strategy will issue forth in a week or 2 just as the next semi-scripted crisis bursts into the public unconsciousness.

“Heck of a job, Brownie,” participation awards after these lambs get their slap.

America is not unique in seeming to want to get into unwinnable quagmires. I’m not saying I can prove it, but if you stop thinking of chess and start thinking of forever wars, it makes sense. For the last year, what have the shills said about why Russia wasn’t doing the completely obvious to win the war (or is that “Special Military Operation”)? It’s strategy. Or Putin is a humanitarian who just doesn’t want to hurt civilians, bless his heart. If you believe that, I’ve got an abiotic oilfield to sell you, guaranteed to never run out.

“Excess Death Spike”
It’s not just the mRNA shots. It’s Sputnik, too https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36322565/
And from the same website he links to about Germany and Denmark, https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/cumulative-excess-deaths-per-million-covid
Funny how these people conveniently leave out the countries that don’t fit their narrative.

Just because the West is absolute shit doesn’t mean Russia, China, etc. are any different.
