Steady Burn

Guest Post by Todd Hayen

I find myself, uncharacteristically, wishing for bad things to happen regarding all this world take-over crap.

I don’t wish for people I love to die, but I can’t help but admit when I read about others dying there is a sudden surge within me that says, “Good! Now maybe these morons will wake up!” Then my senses come back to me, and I think about mothers burying their children, or children burying their mothers, and I curse myself for my wicked thoughts.

Anyone else have similar moments?

I am just not convinced this nightmare is going to end without it getting worse, and if it doesn’t get worse, then I don’t think it is going to end.

I think about my friend the boiling frog. One of my first articles I wrote for Off-Guardian was titled “Slow Boil” and was about the ol’ frog in the pot of water. Apocryphally just sitting there as the heat was turned up oh so slowly. His brain being so small he was incapable of realizing that he would soon be on a plate in a fancy French restaurant.

Not surprisingly many people told me that simply doesn’t happen (friends in denial I suspect). Frogs will jump out before meeting their demise. If so, that means the story is a fictional metaphor made from real human experience, rather than the other way around (or so it seems). That, then, makes it even more poignant.

I think I fear being that frog, ignorant to the lethal slow boil rather than being a lobster thrown into a pot of already boiling water—scalding, horrifying, seasoned, and buttered. Well, I should add this: I fear being the frog who actually realizes he is going to die in a pot of slow boiling water—with nothing he can do about it.

THAT is what I fear the most.

Ignorance is bliss, so it seems, and dying slowly with no knowledge of dying seems to be a preference for most. Somehow it appears not to be as bad a fate as knowing death is imminent. But imminent death WITH a fight, with a WILL to fight, with a strong and immutable DESIRE to set things straight, seems to me far better than ignorance. To die in battle is a noble end, to die a peaceful death in bed while the world is ravaged through unseen fires, is the worst.

Or is it?

Sometimes I wish for that ignorance, and who cares if I end up dead after years of knowing nothing about boiling waters. Somehow, though, I don’t think it will be that easy, nor that peaceful.

The events of the last two and a half years are an indication of that. We got hit with a big missile, one that even the most contented frog felt while basking in his or her stovetop pool. Those of us who recognize incoming weaponry got hit the hardest, but even the sheep got a taste with the inconvenience of lockdowns, masking, social distancing, and such.

Although right now we may be at a holding pattern with the water set to medium for a bit, I don’t question for a second there will be more incoming missiles, and once this plan is fully implemented there will be no doubt that we are not in Kansas anymore.

Anyone who has read much of what I have written know me as Dr. Doom, and as such I am not one to celebrate prematurely. Although at times I nod my head and recognize that things are better than I thought, I have not yet fallen into the complacency of victory.

The fight we are in is an ugly one. And it very well may have been going on for thousands of years. If that is a stretch for you then don’t bother yourself with that possibility, we all have enough to worry about. However, many of you reading this I think would agree.

Even if you can only recognize all this as a result of recent political and philosophical maneuverings, take a little time to read a bit more to expand your understanding. At the very least this all has been in motion since the early part of the 19th Century, and as I suggested above, possibly quite a bit of time before that. Start with Patrick Wood’s amazing, and frightening, book The Evil Twins of Technocracy and Transhumanism.

If that doesn’t shake you up, nothing will. There are many other insights out there as well, and now that you are no longer a sheep (were you ever?) you will be open to quite a bit that is considered, by sheep, to be utter paranoid nonsense.

This scourge of technocracy/transhumanism is a disease much like cancer. It has had enough time to grow to immense proportions without being noticed by most, and its malignancy is intertwined in the fabric of everything—everything. At times I imagine the only way to rid the world of it is to kill the host and start over again. Indeed, that horrible thought may prove to be true.

I do think there is still a smidgeon of hope to kill it from the top down. But to do that, more than likely things will have to get worse before they get better. I recently wrote about this in several other essays: Critically Compromised, Hand Picked, and Perpetual Cognitive Dissonance. If any of these are not yet published, be on the lookout for them.

If things don’t get worse, then we become the lazy frog. Well, we probably are not lazy per se, but only lazy regarding a fight we can’t see because the enemy has retreated or appears to have retreated.

I do trust it is the intention of the agenda to do this. They hide behind the hill and wait. They do seem to be rather patient (well, Justin Trudeau has the patience of a petulant 5-year-old, but he is an exception). They can wait. And that they do. They will soon hit us with another missile, and we will all scramble—for a few minutes at least, and then settle down in our pot again.

It sure is tempting, even for me. I want to get back to my old life again, at least I am compelled to. I want to travel, to spend time writing about something other than doom and gloom.

I want to have fun again, to feel good, happy, contented. But my intelligence tells me this is far from over, and I must stay at the ready. I feel like the proverbial guard given night watch, slowly falling asleep when the crickets start to drift into slumber. I know there is a war raging just over the hill. But it isn’t here. I can take a break.

What horror…to fall asleep and then wake up like Rip Van Winkle, with the world entirely changed. One day there is cash, the next day there isn’t, and the next day you can’t go into a movie theater without showing your Vax Pass on your smart phone, or on a chip embedded in your hand. One day you can’t visit a friend who lives across town without paying a huge fine (goodbye friend, I can’t afford you now), another day you can’t buy eggs because you have an unpaid parking ticket, one day you can’t…fill in the blank.

It is coming folks, there is no dispute about that. The question is whether we are going to let it creep into our comfortable pot. And what manages to creep in will be a whole lot uglier than what you thought was ok a month ago.

lol. Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure. Or a gibronto metorite, perhaps a worldwide EMP, or maybe the Yellowstone mega volcano blowing it’s top or the entire Ring of Fire? moving who’s left back to the stone ages.

Seven years of Tribulation that’s coming, ‘like the world has never seen before’ tells me one or more of those ideas just may come to fruition.

How about an interplanetary or interstellar birkeland current discharge event?
Way more impressive than our puny nukes.
[See: Grand Canyon]

How about a close encounter electrical discharge between earth and a “rogue planet”?

Or the arcing interstellar current feeding our sun, leaping from our sun across to Mercury, to Venus, Earth, Mars and on to our solar system’s alternate Sun, [Jupiter or Saturn] as the intergalactic feeder current decides?

Or perhaps even a direct hit by a body large enough to change earth axis, orbit, year length, day length.

no worries. It is what it is. Already happened, will happen and there is not one thing anyone can do to hinder, slow or stop it. Or speed up the time. It is fortold what will be, because it already was. It cannot be changed.
Read Velikovsky? More plausible than not.

I was wondering if the human modified electromagnetic state of the earth since 1889 will act as a beacon calling forth a large rock from deep space to come and rebalance the power state of the earth?
__________
Electrical current flowing has rotational torque.

We have entire sections of earth wrapped in transmission lines where that torque (and heat) is always maximized on the daytime side of the planet.
(It also is an unnatural charge recycle system which interupts life processes in all living things to the sub cellular levels.)

Is this force pushing the moon away or pulling it closer?
Is is changing the earth position from the sun?
Is it changing the charge connection to the sun?
Is it speeding or slowing earth rotation?

Also, electrical current running through conductors creates heat.
So if there is global warming maybe this earthwide “inductive space heater” would be an obvious factor to look at?
Yet I have never heard anyone say the electrical grid itself contributes to “the warming problem”.

I’ve not heard anyone ever ask these questions.

You can’t fool older frogs with the slow boiling trick, but if you catch a frog before it leaves the tadpole stage, you can slow boil him for life – to death! You can even get the brainwashed frog generations to slow-boil their own friends for the cause.

“I want to have fun again, to feel good, happy, contented.”

“good, happy, contented”? Synonyms. Entirely up to You.

“But my intelligence tells me this is far from over, and I must stay at the ready.”

Same as it EVER was. But the gold-plating/veneer is wearing off at an ever accelerating pace.

Soon? (Who-knows-when).

ALL the ‘Answers’ are in a Book.

Believe It. Or Not.

Free Will.

For instance…

Matthew
Chapter 24
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

From the article:
‘It sure is tempting, even for me. I want to get back to my old life again, at least I am compelled to. I want to travel, to spend time writing about something other than doom and gloom…..
I want to have fun again, to feel good, happy, contented.’

From the mouth of Jesus as you just posted which is to everyone and just not to the Jews as some imply:
“38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Jesus is the solution.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Good luck to any clinging to this gospel. You’re gonna need it.

Wouldn’t you rather be saved today?

2 Corinthians 6:2 KJB… “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.)”

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJB… “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Do you not see clearly the dichotomy between these two gospel messages? For the earthly kingdom saints, their gospel or good news (the kingdom itself) comes after the faithful endurance of the times of JACOBS trouble.

The gospel of grace saves one from having to endure such suffering. Who in their right mind would willingly choose NOT to be saved right this very minute by believing that Christ died the substitutionary death we deserve as payment for our sin? God is trying to save us from that wrath! This is the very reason why He called Paul at all.

Romans 5:8-9 KJB… “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being NOW justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Where is “endurance till the end” found in the above scripture? Answer: it’s not!!! Christ took all the punishment we deserve! His grace is THAT amazing!

Lucky 13?

Just put the whole thing in for context. Imho?

NOT into the whole “one will be taken and the other left” IF i’m paraphrasing.

Another paraphrase. Maybe.

When Jesus comes again? The dead righteous/saved/Whatever will be raised first. The rest of same will rise into the air to meet Him.

No such thing as too much info/opinion/etc.

I want to have fun again, to feel good, happy, contented.

“Choose not to be harmed‚and you won’t feel harmed. Don’t feel harmed‚and you haven’t been.” Marcus Aurelius

The other night my youngest son and I were out snowplowing. We’d been at it most of the day and it was just getting dark when we hit one of our most difficult driveways. It was uphill at a 20 percent grade with steep drop-offs on both sides of the road. We’d almost made it to the hard right turn that led to the homestead when we lost momentum and suddenly the truck started rolling backwards. I had no control, the fresh plowed drive behind me was slick and the only thing I could do was to drop the plow blade and luckily it worked. We got out and in the falling darkness tried to dig the truck out. After a while it became clear that there was nothing more we could do without another truck or a winch, neither of which were available, so we set to walking back home in the storm. It was about 4 miles, trees and power lines were down in several places and the only other people we saw the entire way back were two of the big town plows and one guy on a snowmobile ripping down the road at 80 mph or better. We were exhausted from working at it since before dawn, it was cold, and it was pitch black except for the glow of the snow.

It could have been one of those really crappy experiences or it could have been what it was, which was an excellent adventure and bonding experience as we trudged through the night, telling each other stories and talking about how great it was going to be when we finally made it home.

That’s what life is. There are an endless series of events that occur and which we are a part of, but they are neither good nor bad intrinsically, but rather what we choose for them to be. Most people in the modren era are more like passive bystanders to their own lives. The world is what goes on around them and they are merely passengers with no will of their own, travelling through time and space without the understanding that their journey is unique. Each of us is part of something larger, but our personal destiny is completely ours to decide.

If you want to have fun, to feel good, to be happy, choose wisely the way you react to every moment and you will.

That’s a pretty defeatist way to look at what I wrote.

Destiny embodies limitations, that’s why they call it destiny. The etymology clearly defines those parameters-

“purpose for which anything is intended or appointed.”

We have a purpose no less than a hammer or a wheel, the variables are in how we chose to be human.

“Wisdom is a right understanding, a faculty of discerning good from evil, what is to be chosen and what rejected; a judgment grounded upon the value of things, and not the common opinion of them. It sets a watch over our words and deeds, and makes us invincible by either good or evil fortune. It has for its object things past and things to come, things transitory and things eternal. It examines all the circumstances of time, and the nature and operation of the mind.”

There are an endless series of events that occur and which we are a part of, but they are neither good nor bad intrinsically, but rather what we choose for them to be.

Reminded me of the Sanskrit 9 rules for humans:
1. YOU WILL RECEIVE A BODY.
You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.
2. YOU WILL LEARN LESSONS.
You are enrolled in a full-time, informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
3. THERE ARE NO MISTAKES, ONLY LESSONS.
Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately “works”.
4. A LESSON IS REPEATED UNTIL IT IS LEARNED.
A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. Then you can go on to the next lesson.
5. LEARNING LESSONS DOES NOT END.
There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.
6. “THERE” IS NO BETTER THAN “HERE”.
When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that again, looks better than “here”.
7. OTHERS ARE MERELY MIRRORS OF YOU.
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8. WHAT YOU MAKE OF YOUR LIFE IS UP TO YOU.
You have all the tools and resources you need; what you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. THE ANSWERS LIE INSIDE YOU.
The answers to life’s questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen and trust.

I am in the middle of Patrick Wood’s “The evil twins of technocracy and transhumanism”. It is a sobering and interesting read. I think I have to mix it up with something more uplifting here and there though. Maybe my next one after that will be the “Letters to my son Johannes” by Matthias Claudius [German, 1799]. I am not sure if that is available in English. He writes of how to live a virtuous lives, death, love, the big questions of humanity. Those old white men were wiser than the average these days…

We are only 15 years into the 20 + or – years duration of this 4th turning. And things will become incrementally spicy/kinetic as we reach the end of this cycle. So…chill! Use the time to further prepare. Grow a hard skin. Learn how to blend with the normies. Make it a formal study. We all have areas that need improvement.

Think of the Irish and the IRA. That little dispute is measured in centuries. Take satisfaction in the knowledge that the vastly smaller IRA, in the 1970s, kept 30,000+ British troops stymied, with only a dozen or two actual fighters in total, and thousands of Irish citizens who passively supported them. This defines the teachings of Sun Tzu in the art of war.

When I was divemastering in Malta in 91 I listened to a british bomb disposal guy for three days. He told me of the many ways the IRA would set/spring traps on the soldiers. When a cache of weapons or explosives were found the british would put a squad of soldiers hidden in a ditch waiting for someone to access the cache, most often to no avail. It was very interesting three days before he went back for his third tour of duty.

Divemastering?
Isn’t that like a tour guide for trashy bars?

“Hey! We gonna do a pub crawl. We hired the best divemaster.”

What? Did I get it wrong?
English be very hard for me.
_______

When I immigrated from Uganda using my dead uncles fortune, I come to America, work hard to learn the English.

And now I am successful businessman.
I run two muchomo stands, a gonja stand and a hotdog cart on Wishire blvd, West Los Angeles.
My house has two lion statues in front of it!
And is painted gold and purple!
_______

I love making up stories.

In all seriousness bri, sounded like a sweet gig.

I can’t help but admit when I read about others dying there is a sudden surge within me that says, “Good!
Then my senses come back to me…

No.
I think that’s where you begin to lose your senses.
I’m an individual who believes in freedom.
Freedom to put whatever you want in your body.
Freedom to make your own choices.
Freedom to live (or die) with the consequences of your choices.
The absolute failure to evaluate what is an existential choice does not obviate that freedom.
I derive no joy from it.
I recognize it as another self-solving problem and devote my energies to solving those problems over which I have control and will not solve themselves.
As for your fears;
It’s what people know about themselves inside that makes them afraid…

They’re going to keep shrinking range and lopping off freedoms until we stop them. If we stop them then relent and allow the business to go on even in small part as usual they will resume the attack. Globally, nationally, at the state and local levels they must be stopped. And I haven’t a clue how to do that in a civil manner.

Not killing those who wish to kill you is a serious character flaw.

Not killing those who wish to kill you is a serious character flaw.

How can one tell if someone else wishes to kill them?

I mean, until they take action, we would never know, right?

I’m baffled by the comment.

I guess Readers Digest 1980 was right.
Smoking pot made it impossible for me to understand the differently abled logic of others, but I can totally understand my own sciencey gibberish.
