Back in the late 80’s there was a block party at one of the parks in Atlanta by the black college students. They did it in the ATL because the beach was was for white people and they wanted something of their own. It didn’t keep the same venue more than 2 years in a row as the communities that allowed it wanted noting to do with it because of all the destruction it left in it’s wake. It grew and became a more law lawless party of petty theft, rape, and multiple people missing or killed during the week. Crime jumped 50 to 100 fold the week before, during and the week after Freeknik. It finally got moved out of the Atlanta I thought it had died. Nope they are just crashing Beech week. They are not college students but just just trouble.
