LOOK AT ALL THOSE DECORATIONS FOR VALOR

What a great warrior this vitriolic pansy must be to have all those decorations on his uniform. He must have won many wars and personally put his life on the line in defending our great nation. Or is he just a bloviating joke of a human being – a cardboard cutout warrior who got his decorations in a cereal box.

Kirby was an OCS, Officer Candidate School graduate, which is a warning sign all by itself.

When I went thru my military experience, senior leadership informed and warned us about that OCS “products”. They are a minority of the officer population, and were an overwhelming percentage amount of the “problem children” for honor code, ethical, and even criminal violations of multiple military rules, laws and regulations, the UCMJ. It seems like OCS grads made up 10-15% of the Officer corps, and was responsible for 50-60% of problems. The problem primarily was since active OCS was only 90 days, but service academies were 4 years, and even the shortest ROTC programs were 1.5 to 2 years, it was easier for the OCS “shake’n’bake” to hide unethical behaviors that over time, would normally eliminate them from commissioned officer leadership positions.

General, or Flag, ranked officers are simply put, pure political animals throughout all the services. Ambition, politicking, walking over the bodies of subordinates, and alliances with other like minded Officers are primarily how they get ahead in their careers. The service academies graduates dominate these types of positions. These guys are not called “ring-knockers” for nothing. Because almost all of them have never worked at a civilian job, based on objective results, in their life and they value group-think and senior leader approval over results. Hence, as a result, the US public gets the disastrous military leadership and battlefield disasters we have had for the last 30 or so years.

So Kirby, OCS product, just made admiral (political) rank shortly before his retirement, and was “courted” by elected officials, jumps ship, literally, to politics, and we all see him where he is today.

I detest swamp creatures like him even more than (s)elected officials, since he’s turned his back on all the little patriots who volunteered for service, ignorant of the evil that FEDGOV does.

Time for Benedict Arnold’s like him to “walk the plank”!!!

All the POS officers I suffered were products of the service academies. ROTC were hands down the best. West Pointer became severe pejorative among officers and enlisted alike, because those political animals are so absolutely lacking in morals, ethics, and leadership qualities.

My recollection from my cousin who served in the US Army in the ’60s is that many of those ribbons are likely unit citations … anyone joining the unit gets the one that unit has earned.

Correct me if I’m misinformed …

Hmmm.
The Pharisees, who like to stand up as honorable practitioners, displaying their phylacteries for all to see.
Woe to the scribes (lawyers) and Pharisees.
You load burdens on the backs of those you rule over, and never bear such burdens yourselves.

He loathed them, and for good reason.
False leaders. No skin in the game.
Shameful.

I used to find it amusing when I saw all the North Korean generals with half their uniforms covered in medals or Fidel Castro still wearing the same “revolutionary” military fatigues when he was in his 80’s. Now we’ve become a joke too.

It’s a People’s Democratic Socialist Banana Republic requirement to have an over-abundance of decorations, medals and accompanying ribbons.

and other totalitarian regimes loves them some Rococco military bling too.

There is a new ribbon given to USAF folks for referring a friend if they enlist or sign up!
At least the “longevity” ribbon required 3 years service.

And this is exactly why everybody calls the USAF “chair force”. At this point even the US Coast Guard is more badass than the Air Force.

Kirby became a PAO (Public Affairs Officer) early in his career which means he was always in the rear with the gear and a spokesperson for his command. Basically, a puppet. He is told what to say and when. He is told do not add anything or detract anything and parrot the company line in every answer to any question. He does this so well he continues to do it for the Biden administration. As for his awards, awards started to be handed out like candy in the Navy in the late 90s and continues to this day. Of course, high ranking officers have to get the highest awards because you know they are senior! Even a PAO! Look for a combat action ribbon or a “V” for valor on the awards worn
may indicate a person was in combat as well as a purple heart of course.
