Hungary Quits Russian-led Bank Day After US Sanctions
Hungary’s government said Thursday it is quitting the Russia-led International Investment Bank (IIB) based in Budapest a day after Washington levied sanctions on the entity and several of its officials.
“The government discussed the situation and found that although the IIB played an important development role in Central and Eastern Europe, the operation of the bank lost its meaning as a result of the imposed American sanctions,” said a statement by the Hungarian Ministry for Economic Development sent to AFP.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban sought to ease tensions with Washington in an interview with state radio on April 14, calling the United States a friend and an important ally, a day after Hungary apparently bowed to US pressure to pull out of the Russian-controlled International Investment Bank (IIB).
The conciliatory move comes after media reports that US lawmakers are preparing draft legislation that would target several former Hungarian government officials and people close to the government with a travel ban to the US.

News flash the US government does not care what US citizens think. They do not care what Hungary thinks. The US government demands all NATO countries, including Hungary, contribute to the war effort against Russia. Russia is the enemy and must be destroyed!
