Trump Defends Woke Agenda to Protect Lobbying Interests

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Ron DeSantis revoked Disney’s special district permissions that had allowed it to operate independently from the government since 1967 (see: Reedy Creek Improvement District). Disney shares have continued to fall over the past year as the people seem to agree with DeSantis. This week Donald Trump announced on social media that this “PR plan fizzled” and “Disney’s next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor.”

His son Don Jr. also came out this week to defend the woke agenda by asking conservatives to continue purchasing Bud Light amid the transgender influencer scandal. Again, the people have spoken with their dollars, and Bud Light sales have declined swiftly. Don Jr.’s reasoning – political lobbying. “We looked into the political giving and lobbying history of Anheuser-Busch. And guess what? They actually support Republicans,” he said on his podcast. “Last cycle their employees and their PAC gave about 60 percent to Republicans and 40 percent to Democrats. That’s literally almost unheard of in corporate America, where it’s really easy to go woke, where they do so constantly, where there’s a consequence to actually being a conservative. So 60/40 to the conservative side is kind of a big deal.”

These messages are alienating Trump’s target demographic and seem tone-deaf. Anheuser-Busch could still donate to the GOP without supporting a distorted ideology. If the company actually supports conservatives, its advertising should reflect that too. Donald Sr. is a smart businessman who knows that Disney cannot leave Florida. Disney World’s property in Florida is double the size of Manhattan. They would never find a buyer, first and foremost. They are limited to states with year-round warm weather that are tax-friendly. They already have a park on the west coast and people want to travel to Florida for their vacations. They cannot simply move Disney to a new location financially or logistically.

Trump is either attempting to position himself as more centric than DeSantis or he’s a “Disney adult.” He has also begun selling NFTs again online, which seems a bit desperate. I respect Trump and thought he was a good president who was intent on draining the swamp. His actions this week are extremely disappointing as he seems to be caving into the will of the lobbyists rather than staying firm on his principles.

Not me, but I wasn’t planning to ever vote again. But now I might register as a Democrat to vote for RFK, Jr.
If there’s even a chance he could beat Biden in the Florida primary, I’m going to vote for him. Because I consider that to be the political equivalent of pissing on Biden’s leg.

I would not be too sure of the Swamp fearing Trump. He ran his mouth about draining the Swamp but what did he actually do about it in his four years as president? Nothing that I recall; he filled his cabinet with swamp creatures. Besides that, lately the negative DeSantis stories in the news, like how awful his trip to DC was, have me wondering if the TPTB haven’t already chosen Trump to be the next republican nominee and possible president. To what end I have no idea, but I know it won’t be for the benefit of the country or the world.

…wondering if the TPTB haven’t already chosen Trump to be the next republican nominee and possible president.

I’m fairly convinced of it. “They” can’t pull the plug with one of their own in office. It’ll be pulled with trump so they can forever blame him and conservatives in general.

Then again, I thought this during his first term as well and turned out to be wrong. Time will tell.

Not that it matters, there is no voting our way out of this. The greatest “show” on earth…

A couple of things. Trump wasn’t perfect, but he was sure better than Hillary and anyone else for that matter. Second he had no experience and didn’t realize how big and deep the swamp was, plus he got bad recommendations from is political advisors. I don’t think that will happen again if he gets elected. Trump will take a toll on those people this time if he wins, which I why I doubt they will let Trump win. They are scared to death of him now.
I didn’t vote for Trump either time but voted third party independent. The second time I thought Trump spent to much money and supported domestic spying (to his own determent). The only reason I would vote for Trump this time would to see the havoc he would bring on DC. He is pissed off.

he had no experience

So should a “pilot” with no experience be allowed to fly a commercial airliner. I guess so, kill everyone onboard.

No experience? Good laugh for today. Thanks.

We can observe the cleaving of the GOP into the GOPe/RINO/Appropriate degrading adjective of your choosing Faction and the MAGA faction which is the big dog and starting to act like it. There are two MAGA declared candidates, Trump and Ramaswamy, perhaps Larry Elder is three? MAGA has become somewhat of a philosophy and a surprising amount of it is embraced by a declared Democrat, RFK jr.
Momentum is building against the Kakistocracy.

He never stood firm because the man HAS NO principles! He never did, and IF you 3tards would learn to recognize a lie in your face when it appears, you wouldn’t have your panties in a twist right now.

Voting is meaningless in a society sofa king stupid that it is not taken as the serious matter it once was.

Yes. The stupids in this country vastly outnumber us regular folk. They have no morals, no sense of right vs wrong, no sense of God, etc. They’re like a misguided rocket on its path to destruction. I wouldn’t care if it only affected them, only problem is they’ll take us down with them. Sometimes I think they have no soul.

The whole damn country is like that. Try starting a conversation about long term strategic goals, or the proper role of SCOTUS Justices next time you’re out in public.

I guarantee you it will play out like a Mark Dice video every time!

In my teens, I hung out with Army brats, Navy brats and Marine brats. When we weren’t engaged in pickup football and softball games, we were playing Avalon Hill strategy war games. We discussed current military events in great detail. Today you couldn’t find 1 adult in 25 who could do any of those things.

He’s more like The Music man, a total charlatan a buffoon. But like the Music Man some good things were done, securing the border for one. And the election was stolen from him. That people who would prefer to have a corrupt pervert who molested his own children and was addled with dementia and flagrantly steal an election and then gas light everyone about it tells me that Trump was on the right path, sometimes that he was doing was a serious threat to the deep state permanent Washington Cabal. Some policy or policies he had really had them frealed out. And it maybe not even something obvious like Ukraine or his policies regarding the border or the Red Chinese.
He just couldn’t pick the right people to put in the DOJ and intel community. And they screwed him.

Considering what is happening to the Dollar, it doesn’t matter whether it’s Bidet or Trump, the country going to go broke soon enough either way. And if the vaxx deaths start to ramp up, Deagle style well….

But all that being said I would love to see Trump re re elected and sworn in again, not because it would make a difference in the long run, it is too late for that, but because it would absolutely drive my pink hat wearing libtard sisters crazy. They and the rest of the White Suburban Women who for some perverse reason are so hell bent on destroying the USA would lose their ever loving shit. And that would be a glorious thing to behold. Can you imagine how much psych meds would have to be prescribed in the weeks after the election?

The royal clause has to do with the Rules Against Perpetuates. Basically the RAP holds that a trust can only last during lives in Being 21 years and a period of gestation therin, (9 months).
But the problem that WDW has is that they didn’t properly advertise the meeting or follow the open meeting laws, which they were required to do because Reedy Creek was bound by public meeting laws applicable to government agencies, when they voted for the agreement, and also it’s not clear if the agreement would be valid past the date the old board dissolves based upon the common law rule that one legislative session can’t bind the hands of its successors. And then there’s the simple fact that the old district was abolished and a new one was created. It’s two separate entities. And finally, the Florida legislature can simply pass another law voiding the contract.as.against public policy. Or something akin to that.

Disney still thinks and acts like they are the big dog in this fight, they’re not, they are.only going to make things worse for themselves.
