RARE COLLECTOR’S ITEM

-----------------------------------------------------
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. I’m offended by how easily some people get offended.

Hardscrabble spoiled us to real maple syrup on the rare occasion we have it.

Wow. When did Karine Jean-Pierre get her own syrup?

I don’t think I was doing Aunt Jemima when that bottle was around. At least I don’t recall.

The Aunt Jemima I knew was probably in a bottle like in the vid although I don’t recall the drip proof spout. Chances are I had Aunt Jemima all over me anyway.

I remember going to the annual Aunt Jemima pancake breakfast sponsored by the local Kiwanis club. There was always a large black woman wearing a dress, apron with a bandana on her head walking around and thanking those who came. It was the only time during the year that I got to eat all the bacon I wanted.

We could not afford Aunt Jemima’s syrup and ate a brand called “Griffin’s”

Haha, imagine that now !

My husband talks fondly of a crossdressing party he went to while he was in college: boys in skirts and dresses and girls in pants, shirts and mustaches painted on faces. Nowadays that would be no different from any other party. Or the dean would expel them all for hate crimes.
