Being a police officer in America has to be one of the least appealing jobs in today’s day and age. After 2020 and the rise of the BLM movement, there were countless calls to defund police agencies. Officers in blue cities must sit idly and watch their hometowns burn because those in charge are light on crime, and no one wants to become the next target of a police brutality campaign. The people in power who they protect know this and are worried.
As civil unrest rises into 2024, US cops will be in the middle of a brewing civil war. A number of active police also serve in the military reserves, and I know of a few young men personally who have been called to serve overseas in lands surrounding Ukraine. As for those who remain on the force, the government will not allow them to have personal privacy.
New Jersey implemented a new law requiring all officers to disclose their social media accounts to the government by 2024. They will also be required to disclose any organizations they are affiliated with, including religious groups. This will spread to other states as well because the government knows their cities will fall if the police side with the people who WILL protest and cause upheaval in the time leading up to the election.
Cops are resigning at a rapid pace. The NYPD, once a proud force, saw 3,701 cops leave the force in 2022. That marks the highest number of officers leaving the force since the 9/11 attacks. Philadelphia’s police force fell from 6,590 officers in 2019 to only 5,983 by 2022. The city of Philadelphia believes there will be less than 5,200 cops in the city by 2025. The Chicago Police Department lost 1,000 officers in 2022 and hundreds more are threatening to resign. This is happening across the US. Police Executive Research Forum, an independent think tank, reported that resignations rose 43% and retirements increased 24% from 2019 to 2022, and that number is growing.
Cops in NJ and elsewhere must also undergo a psychiatric evaluation, which seems reasonable. But why is the same not required for our government officials, especially the one with the nuke codes who is mentally incapacitated in all of his speaking engagements? Revolutions succeed when the police turn their backs on the government and side with the people. Governments then call in the military, but it is too late because they too will section off based on who they believe needs to be protected.

In the 1970s everyone wanted to be a police officer . Waiting lists for people who did well on the tests and psych eval . Then they started giving extra points to the victim class all downhill ever since.

Couple months ago I got a ticket from a hidden motorcycle cop for a ridiculous, chicken shit, rolling stop at a stop sign with clear vision both ways for a hundred yards. $280 !!
After I sign the citation the asshole says “your free to go now”.

Fucking hate cops. I went to school with some guys who are now cops and they were all zit faced, chubby nerds that girls made fun of. Only sociopaths with an ax to grind would want to be cops now.
Yes, it seems they fall into three categories:
The schoolyard bully who likes to push people around. (And wants to continue)
The schoolyard wimp who got pushed around and now wants his pound of flesh. (Wants revenge)
And the knight in shining armor who just wants to help people and do good. (Until he becomes disillusioned and bitter due to the people he works with (above) and the people he comes in contact with (typical criminal/loser humanity with substance abuse issues).
The first two start bad and stay that way. The last becomes worse than the first after not too long a time.
Dad was the third kind. But he quit in disgust before changing.
BTW, that was in the 1960’s. 60+ years of getting worse I am sure.

A bully/cop bully experience with three incidents: After this former schoolyard bully grew up (we never had a direct boyhood incident – but he was a bully with others – I heard about him – then he pulled some bully shit with one of my running buddies…I wasn’t there…but he got the living shit beat out of him. I mean Jackie didn’t look like much, but he had two fists…LIGHTENING & THUNDER.
Years later (he lost all his local bully mojo with that vicious beating from Jackie) the former bully became a local cop I had two run ins with, before I called him out. Now this was after he washed out of the Marines during boot camp (1968)…the same year I was there. Some type of medical discharge was the rumor. Trust me to get washed out of the Marines in 68 there was something hinky going on…I suspect a nervous breakdown…but don’t know that for sure. I saw three of them while I was there.
His family was well-connected so he made it onto my boyhood town’s police force on that, it took that to get on…no civil service. I’m home from Nam and just out of the Marines in early 71 when it started.
First I got berated by him on a minor traffic issue, no ticket but a huge overbearing long lecture. Then a month later a dog was hit by a car in busy traffic at night…I used my MG midget to block other cars from hitting the dog a second time…he pulls up lights flashing…I’m directing traffic around the helpless dog…and I get another long winded overbearing lecture on interfering and risking a more serious accident with my car blocking traffic…no ticket. (I had a couple of empty beer cans in the MG…and took the verbal beating with a silent glare).
Two ass chewing’s from a loudmouth (now flabby) former school bully who couldn’t hack Parris Island, came from a well-connected local family, and is back in his bully role but now with a badge and a gun…and he has goaded me twice with his cop horns. We remembered one another – he knows I was Jack’s running buddy.
I tell my Father about both incidents…he tells me the cop hangs at the VFW as a ‘regular guest’ and is considered just a big mouth drunk, but he is there by himself constantly. No friends, no girlfriend, but gets loud as he pours them down.
There was a walking beat he was on a couple of days a week, part of it down a shopping center I could see from my parent’s kitchen window. I watched him on it twice.
The Third time I saw him on the beat I was stewing and stirring in my post Nam PTSD juices (hindsight being 20-20)…I jumped the back fence…trotted to the strip center…slipped into the tiny laundromat…that was perfect…empty as he walked past it.
When he was strolling past the door I yelled: “OFFICER…let’s have a talk”.
It was just me and him.
I called him out on both overbearing bullshit lectures…he was stunned and started to defend himself. I cut him off and said. “I hear you hang at the VFW…I’m a member…how about we meet there late tonight and settle this in the grove behind the building man to man. Tell no one and either will I. Because you not going to fuck with me a third time”.
He was rattled and flustered and went back to his BS cop justification talk. I walked up to him and pointed my finger walking past…and growled… “Don’t fuck with me again or I’ll be at the VFW every night”.
He didn’t say a word…
I saw him twice after that and he saw me…both times he quickly looked away.
About a year later he was fired from the local police force…never found out why…it seems to have been hushed up.
My Dad said he had also stopped coming to the VFW…probably moved to The Americn Legion.

If there are any bad cops, there are no good cops. The “Thin Blue Line” makes them all culpable. And there are plenty of bad cops. Being a cop is incompatible with being a “good guy”.

The destruction of America’s police forces is not being done in the name of George Floyd or social justice, per se, but with the end-goal of forcing out of police work the last remaining heritage Americans who honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights and the old ways. Once those chiefs and officers have been purged, the way will be open for the formation of a national police force, i.e., the new NKVD/KGB, Red Guards, Stasi, etc. That’s what it will be, regardless of how it is named or what it is called.
And since the new force will have been cleansed of heritage Americans, the regime will build its force using only those people known to be ideologically-reliable communists. They may even import foreigners to do the dirty work, another tactic the Reds have employed overseas in various places.
Without fail, when communist regimes take over, they always move to seize and consolidate control of the enforcement arms of the state, the police and the armed forces. That is the lesson of history, and it is being repeated here in the former United States.

At the range the other day, I pressed him into being willing to share some of that training and knowledge with the membership. Some cops are worth keeping, sadly most are not our friends.
