And no, it’s not just their cauliflower sandwich, though now that was clearly a sign that the company had strayed.
No, Chick-Fil-A has gone full woke Marxist, although I doubt any of the boomers in charge know it, endorsing wokeness with a department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

You can slap some Bible verses in your DEI statement, you can couch it in the friendliest language possible, as Chick-Fil-A does in their statement, but that doesn’t change the nature of DEI, or, as Gad Saad presciently dubbed it, “DIE.”
Because everything it touches dies.
Now, the DEI program at CFA does some nice things. It’s based on caring and community service.
So, if those are good things, why rag on CFA?
Simply speaking, it’s because running a company based on DEI means seeing everything through the lens of woke race politics as well as gender and sexuality politics as well.
There’s no such thing as DEI without wokeness.
It’s a way for Chick-Fil-A to try to appease the woke mob that has been its enemies for years since the founders, the Cathys, vocally supported traditional marriage.
They want to prove that they aren’t “bigots” and one way to do that is to allow the wokeness into the organization to shape their company.
This DEI department has been part of Chick-Fil-A since at least 2020, a year when A LOT of companies found out that they had to have DEI departments in order to be aNti-RaCisT.
Eric McReynolds is now the Vice President of CFA in charge of DEI, but in 2020 he was put into the position of executive director of DEI.
(Meaning the influence of the woke DEI wing of Chick-Fil-A is moving up the food chain.)
Wokeness is capturing all the formerly Christian institutions, including the Christian chicken joint.
Because if you aren’t explicitly Christian, then leftism will take you over and transform you into its image.

Having a vegetarian item (cauliflower) on the menu is their way of enabling vegetarians to eat at the restaurant with their friends/co workers in a way that works for them without supporting the GMO fake meat industry. If its being on the menu troubles you, then explain why fries don’t. And obviously the DIE thing is horrible.
I’ve boycotted them for years, when I found out they had an avid Obama supporter on the board of their foundation. They’ve been woke for awhile.
Chik fila sucks and so do the dweebs who sit in a mile long drive thru for a chicken sandwich blocking me from leaving an adjacent business in a large truck. I went one time ONE. They shorted me a chicken sandwich at almost 4 bucks.

I never could figure out how people went ga-ga for Chick-Fil-A. Anytime I ate their “famous” fried chicken biscuit I got Heartburn from the depths of hell, and I mean every time. Half the time I made sure I knew where a bathroom was at. Just more poison that people are eating now then having chronic health problems by the time they hit 50.

I don’t get why people wait in long lines at Chick-Fil-A for their just OK chicken products when they can just go across the street to Wendy’s and grab lunch there and be on their way back to work while the people in line a Chick-Fil-A are still waiting to place their order. About 8 months ago I got Hepatitis A from eating at a local fast food restaurant in my town. It wasn’t Chick Fila that did it to me, but it still took me about 3 months to completely get over that whole deal. I didn’t know what the hell was wrong with me for about the first 3 weeks of the illness. Once I finally got the diagnosis, I decided that was the end of fast food for me. Since then I’ve lost 27 pounds by doing nothing more than just not eating that crap. I can honestly say that I don’t miss it at all.

Only time I eat that crap is if I’m on the road and it’s not often usually a sausage biscuit from Burger Sling. Never anyone’s hamburgers. Actually the crap I eat on the road is usually a Ballpark hot dog at Q-T along with a coffee refill. Yeah, dogs are crap but not fried. The bun is not health food but WTH, the mustard , onions and sauerkraut cancel out the bad. Traveling I usually have a can of Polar brand smoked kipper snacks, saltine crackers , oranges, real food etc. etc.
