I’ll have to dedicate more time to thinking about this than I have now, but wanted to say thanks to Stephanie for posting it.

Meh, no additional commentary necessary, but will give it anyway.
You seem angry.
It’s ok bro.
Been there. Done that. I understand what it was like when I hadn’t yet found the connection to everything.

It is up to you to get yourself out of the delusions.
A tip:
Try as many memory building techniques as one can. It is possible to revisit one’s own past and discover when and where one was handed a belief or banner that is now causing harm to oneself and ones ability to interact peacefully with others.

Peace and Good Luck!

NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL TESTIMONY

Isn’t what the guy in the video is doing kind of “personal testimony”?

Show them first by your actions through faith. Then share your experience strength and hope when they ask. The fields are white for harvest. It’s time to get busy.

The only christians who had life-changing events I have ever respected kept their religious experiences to themselves, even if I knew the rough circumstances.

Just looking up this guy, a pig, a preacher, and a tv and jewtube personality. No thanks.

No, the instincts of a man can be read by their choices. It would be naive of me to NOT judge someone for how they pursue their shekels.

I am not a christian. You were a lot more bearable when you didn’t pretend to promote it.

He could consider the “forensics” of Jesus recruiting professional fisherman, and a fishy miracle claim or two later.*

No way did the ancients ever fake anything.
________

I had read, the entire Jesus story was fabricated by the Romans, to break the stranglehold of religious extremism in Judea. The idea was to split the Jews with a messiah according to their prophets.
Then, the project got away from them because people started believing the tales being told in ancient Judeawood.
Can not recall where I read this.

*It’s true.

Found a link story:

“In Caesar’s Messiah, Joseph Atwill showed that the Flavian Caesars, Vespasian and Titus, invented Christianity, more or less in the form we know it today. Remarkably, the emperors left behind a veiled confession (or boast) of their work, embedded in the Gospels and the works of Josephus. The religion was invented as wartime propaganda, primarily targeted at Hellenistic Jews of the Diaspora, and also at the Gentiles (who were being approached by Jewish evangelists.) This covert act of psychological warfare was successful beyond the Romans’ wildest dreams: even today, the dominant view is that Christianity arose in humble circumstances, and grew to massive proportions while being driven by a variety of philosophical and religious trends, if not by God himself. However, as Atwill pointed out:

… as Christianity describes its origins, it was not only supernatural but also historically illogical. Christianity, a movement that encouraged pacifism and obedience to Rome, claims to have emerged from a nation engaged in a century-long struggle with Rome.”

Christianity is Flavian Vanity

no it’s not bullshit. your comments show your ignorance on the subject. if you could read the gospels and new testament literature for what they are, you wouldn’t make such bullshit statements. but you can’t read them for what they are because you are a brain washed “believer.”

atwill convincingly proved his thesis that one of the jesuses in the gospels was an avatar for titus.

physical force is not sufficient to battle a large segment of the roman empire. just as the united states invests billions upon trillions in psychological warfare, so too did the romans.

there isn’t a shred of contemporary historical documentation for the existence of jesus. and there are multiple jesuses in the gospels. you have to sweep away your bullshit to see it. atwill deals with the flimsy evidence for which you might be reaching at this moment.

Nah, that’s bullshit. If the Romans wanted to break the religious stronghold on Judea they wouldn’t create a new God to do it.

You may be right, or maybe they tried this plan and it backfired and they had to crush the zealots anyway.

I like pondering as many angles as possible.

I can intersperse the epic of gilgamesh with pages from the silmarillion. That would be unique as shit. And certainly more entertaining than jewish gibberish and sermons on hills with ass-backwards values.

All disgusting and also all very typically jewish (transhumanism is completely so). As I mentioned in other threads, mutilation/castration has ancient roots in christianity. Early christianity was indistinguishable from the woke mobs of today.

What are the “superior” values of modernity but Orwellian Newspeak to the values of the old world. Tell me the sermon on the mount isn’t subversion.

Transvaluation of values.

Great point, Stephanie.

The only thing interpretation that agrees with all the facts is that the Bible is all true, but the deluded are not willing to see. The Bible explains that, too.

If you truly seek the truth, there is only one destination, which is the Way, the Life, and the Truth.

Completely the opposite. Who was the power of the world? Rome. Who is in eternal rebellion against anything straightforward, or white, or upright, or powerful? The jew.

The Romans would not have taken jewish sources and fabricated a messiah because the entire thing was beneath them. Think of Pilate, for example.

True or False?

Jesus recruited professional fisherman as disciples.
Later, miraculous fish multiplication was claimed.

I read it in the Holy Bible.
Same stories in each translation.

Agree K31. That’s why I’m thankful to God that I was born in these days. Hard not to see the prophesied end times with it’s one world government coalescing.

A club to the cranium is sufficient to get even my attention. Not sure I’d have picked up on the narrative if born much earlier.

I thoroughly enjoyed that video…great post SS!

Of course he gave his personal testimony…while saying no one wants to hear it…I was riveted listening to it…what a captivating unique barbed spiritual hook short testimony.

No one should care about mine either…I’m not going to even try and explain it after God chased me down for months in many ways no one wants to hear about…then physically (and invisibly) tried to pull me into a tent revival as I was walking past it completely alone…knowing it was Him…and still refusing to go in.

(I didn’t think my arms were too short to box with God at the time).

Then He assaults me with a parade of people witnessing to me…and finally comes into my bedroom at 3 am and plays a video in my head of my major sins throughout my life…in chronological order (double feature – no intermission)…and then… only after I cry out is a heartfelt surrender – begging to be cleaned up…does He fill me with supernatural waves of LOVE…followed by supernatural waves of FORGIVENESS.

But, I’m not going to talk about it.

Thanks for sharing mark.
Without faith it is impossible to please God; first we must believe that he exists as who he says he is, and secondly, that he rewards those who seek him. God is a spirit, they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Truth is vitally important, but the personal relationship with the Saviour comes as an experience. It takes faith to continue the walk, because the devils and the people who they speak through will try to convince you that you are deceived.

I like hearing personal testimonies. I’ve actually been longing to hear one. I once saw people’s lives being dramatically changed by their coming to know Messiah. Right now I can’t remember the last time that I heard someone share the joy of coming into a personal relationship with the Messiah.

Some kids in a kitchen and no adults home, suddenly we could sense a great power enter the room, you had to be there to put it mildly.
One kids face turned into that of an old man, another was screaming “make it stop! make it stop!”
Ok, I silently prayed “In the name of Jesus I command you to leave ” a second later I added “Get thee hence satan” and poof, gone.
It was the summer of 1976, I was 11 years old and I wouldn’t believe it had I not seen it with my own eyes.
Quite a while back another commenter wrote “only children and animals can see them ” and I thought, ya.
