A tragic story that is confirmation of the “Darwin Award”.
Anyone looking at that contraption and considering it going to that depth would not consider getting on board. Elementary common sense.
Doomed Titanic sub CEO tried to sell cut-price tickets, saying it was ‘safer than crossing the street’
Property financing tycoon Jay Bloom — a one-time business partner of late “Everwood” star Treat Williams — shared a series of text messages showing how Rush tried to sell him and his son, Sean, spots that eventually went to Shahzada Dawood, 48, and his son Sulaiman, 19.
As far back as April, Rush started pushing a “last-minute price” of $150,000 — a $100,000 discount from the usual $250,000.
That steep discount was offered after Bloom admitted he and his son were worried about the safety of the sub that imploded, killing Rush and his four wealthy Titanic tourists.
“My son’s friend researched what could go wrong and put a little scare in him,” Bloom texted the CEO in February. “He’s excited to go, but concerned about the danger.”
Rush, 61, replied that he was “curious what the uninformed would say the danger is.”
The businessman then listed “perceived threats to the vessel,” including attacks by giant sea creatures and anything that “compromises the hull,” suggesting it was likely “really stupid stuff.”
“Yeah very stupid,” the now-dead CEO replied, dismissively.
“While there’s obviously risk it’s way safer than flying in a helicopter or even scuba diving. There hasn’t even been an injury in 35 years in a non-military sub,” Rush wrote.

There hasn’t even been an injury in 35 years in a non-military sub,” Rush wrote.
I’m interested in watching it but, that has to be one of the shittiest put together trailers I think I’ve ever seen.
Everyone that knows anything about Mechanical Engineering
understands that pressure vessels need to be tested under
maximal forces that would destroy the pressure vessel so
that limits are determined vis-a-vis usage limits that are
safe for human inhabitants of said pressure vessel.
No Engineering firm backed the manufacture or design, but
Rush went around underwriters for certification by claiming
he was using the craft for personal use and not Commercial use.
Rush lied because he’s a risk taker that makes money off of high risk
adventure and high risk behaviour.
Now he’s a dead risk taker and he has no behaviour that would
get his pathetic risk taking life back for him and his sorry ass
family.
Rush is not P.Eng he’s a dead mofo that talked $hit and wound up
in it up to his eyebrows & beyond into the netherworld of the Necropolis
of death beside the Titanic.
Are we having FUN yet?

Hey look, it’s just like the Chinse balloon story, only underwater.
I request a deeper comment than that. How about a comparison to Ernest Shackleton and true expeditions? TIA
I’ll wait until the big gondola story hits, then tie them all together.
Side note: “The Ship Beneath the Ice” chronicles the successful locating and photographing in 2022 of Shackleton’s ship that was trapped and eventually crushed by Antarctic ice in 1915.
I know now why Stephanie Shepard was hot on this topic. It is due to the fact that this event is linked to the Federal Reserve, the institution that she fears may go bankrupt. Specifically, that the Titanic was sunk purposely in order to eliminate several people aboard whom opposed the formation of a central bank. To prevent the fraud of the Titanic being revealed, the Titan was also sunk.
If all of the mainstream media are parroting the same story, ad nauseam, it can be known that an agenda is in play.
And then, some things are just as they appear. An extremely poor design, not test to 4000 meters and breathable air not tested with 5 individuals. In this case, hubris, cockiness & being woke, cost the lives of 5 people. Sad, but true.
TV Ad, 2:00 AM:
“Every home needs the new Titan Mix Master! It slices! It dices! It blends! It even cooks meats in their own juices!”
Not UL Approved.
The results were more “Bass-o-matic” like.
it was a disaster that happened b/c of an unsafe sub —
no conspiracy to blow up the sub ,but conspiracy theories start when incidents like this happen & are then taken advantage of by powerful people/organizations –the navy & thus the coast guard knew within minutes of when the sub went down but sat on it from sunday am until thursday afternoon —
why?could it possibly be that it gave the msm an excuse not to cover the irs whistleblower hearings up on capitol hill?
btw,it was apparently well known that the sub was unsafe –i did not click in & read it but i saw an article that the headline & 1st few lines said that one of the big documentary companies,(nat. geo.,discovery,?),i don’t remember which it was but they were planning a dive to the titantic & canceled it b/c of safety concerns w/the sub —
If it even happened at all.
Oh jeez. Here we go.
Interesting take on the Sub, the Fed past and prologue…and other coming attractions…
Even Billionaires under water hmmm…
But I love this man’s attitude!
at least there is a great heroic soundtrack for this:
(nothing like being instantaneously crushed to death via 375 atmospheres)
It was Spongebob Sunday:
Then there was this one from MAD:
I bet the mock up of the Flying Sub was probably safer too.
The entire crew simultaneously changed their nicknames to “CHUM.”
That would’ve been the Challenger crew…..
Sorry, when I was trying to fix this one, it “disappeared” and I thought it was simply gone.
Remember that the collapsing tanker car is only being imploded by a one atmosphere difference in pressure. Imagine something similar where all the forces are being multiplied by a factor of about four HUNDRED.
Someone correct me on the following statement, because the numbers look all wrong to me. I must be doing something crazy. OK, you have this bubble of air (the submarine) being suddenly compressed to 400 atmospheres and squeezed into a volume 1/400 its original size. It is so sudden that there is no time for the air to cool down (1/100 sec?) so the air heats up to, what? 400 times it’s original room temperature? It was about 300 degrees K (room temp), so it heats up to 120,000K?! Call it 200,000F?! That can’t be right. What am I missing?
Billionaire fools and their money soon part ways especially when
they climb in ‘experimental’ submarines that have no safety
certification by any underwriter involved in manufacturing.
These billionaires imploded themselves with an analogous
ten cases of dynamite via the presure vessel they were dependent
upon for their risk taking behaviour which is outsized in this case
given the carbon fiber hull instead of a titanium hull.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Don’t hang out with stupid billionaires or their enabler banks.

Everyone that thinks this was a complete psyop raise your hand.
No question about the timing for sure. The NAVY supposedly knew on MONDAY, as did James Cameron and supposedly the entire undersea exploration “network.” Obviously it was kept quiet to keep the media and the sheeple distracted from the latest Biden Crime Family revelations. Stupid rich folks do stupid things all the time believing nothing bad will happen to them. Don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be real…but exploited perfectly.
Total BS. Media hype like it was OJ Simpson again. I bet you couldn’t even find billy hicks who would go down in that “sub” let alone billionaires with the world by the tail. As if.
Complete, noise on all channels, the “alternative”too. Even 4chan, a friend told me.
Compression ignition in that sub on a magnitude of pressures far greater than in a Diesel engine.
Did a compression test on a 71 series Detroit Diesel once and as I recall the cranking pressure was only around 400 psi. Pressure at Titanic depth is about 5600 psi.
Another site said that in the 30 milliseconds required for the implosion the air temp would approach that of the surface of the Sun (~10,000 degrees F).
