I don’t know what she experienced. I am not into the woo woo stuff, but just an example of the kind of thing that could have happened is this. She could have been exhausted or sleep deprived from a long day(s) of traveling. Once on the plane she could have briefly fallen asleep and had what is called a False Awakening. In essence she was in a brief dream state with many of the details of the reality around her with something weird tossed in by the dream…then started to an awake state seamlessly. In that instant she might have failed to discern reality from the dream. I have had false awakenings in my life and they can be extremely realistic until an odd event throws it into something bazar. Not an opinion of what happened but just a suggestion of what I view as likely.

I too have had what you describe but being a guy fascinated with the spiritual and Jungian psychological constructs I leave the door open for other than what you would consider the reasonable or rationale explanation based upon our current level of understanding of science / physics . Sometimes a dream is just a dream , sometimes it could be much more . Both my father ( PHD electrical engineer ) and I have had and been verified by other people as having had premonitive dreams for instance . The details surrounding the events that parrelel the dreams are too out of the ordinary to be coincidental .Two of the three of my sisters( one now departed) have histories of strange dream episodes as well .And both of them are like my father , very high functioning individuals , one was a mathematician and the other a medical Doctor ( I’m the black sheep of the family ) The thing about the current sum of our understanding of things ( science /physics/ metaphysics)that you might want to ask yourself is first :do we know everything ? , if the answer to that question is no as I personally beleive it obviously should be then the next question would be ; how much do we not yet know? I believe that the sum of what we don’t know may outstrip the sum of what we do think we know by orders of magnitude .Just sayin , as a simplecarpenter with a tenth grade education level .

Every time I fly it feels like being stuffed in a sardine can. Three seats on each side jammed pack, fuck that. maybe one more trip to the Oregon coast and probably going to fly but weighing any possible alternative. I hate sardine packed airplanes and airports.

My thought about her was “Why don’t you grow up, it’s not like you were never an annoying crying baby in your youth.”
What did I do?
I said nothing, and let her kvetch the entire 5.5 hours flight. When it was time to deplane, I conspicuously helped my wife and son. Then that moment our eyes met before exiting the plane she knew, that I knew, this lady? was a friggin cahunt.

Flying makes people behave in very weird ways. It is compounded by an order of magnitude when drugs are involved.
I will say that flight attendants and some pilots are agitators as well. Well over half of the removals were due to dickbag airborne waitresses/waiters and primadonna pilots.
