I have been urging people all over the world, on media such as this, to get to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, for the time of His coming is getting nearer. It is amazing how many sites have banned me.

I once considered living there. It’s a nice place but…Many joggers and Turks. I once talked to my wife about moving to Joplin Mo. Then a week later that big tornado just about leveled the place. My wife tortured me for a while about this.
Iâve been through and stayed in Joplin quite a bit, not sure what would attract someone to the area. The tornado was very bad, when I returned I was hard pressed to find a landmark I recognized aside from street signs.
Areas around Springfield in Southern MO and northern AR seem pretty nice, in the Ozarks. Avoid Branson and if you find yourself in AR, itâs good to research if youâre in a dry county if thatâs important to you. Wifey and I found ourselves taking some long drives to resupply during a vacation near Jasper (Grand canyon of the ozarks).

Good advice “if that’s important to you”. Remember that dry counties do not forbid people from possessing or drinking alcohol; they just do not allow its sale. You can always drive one or two counties over, buy some and take it home. But if you need a liquor store handy, if you like to go out drinking somewhere, you are out of luck. Also, dry counties tend to have a higher percentage of church goers, a higher number of churches, and a greater number of people who take religious beliefs seriously. You might find that the cultural attributes which keep a county dry are more important and valuable to you than having instant access to alcohol.

My take is that in the generations after this current Arc of history has ended, and if there’s a future where there are historians, even if they are just story tellers around the campfire. The current position of time where we find ourselves will most certainly be at virtually the end of that arc.

I note that the Roman Empire had been collapsed for a century before the residents of the Italian peninsula began to notice that maybe things were starting to go a bit off.
For 20 years here the power went out only when there was a massive snow storm, or during the melt after as, branches fell on lines. During the ‘not winter’ maybe 10 outages in 20 years.
In the last year the power has been out 7 times. Only once in winter.
Maybe just a weird statistical anomaly? Seems unlikely. Lack of maintenance? Seems more likely.

I upvoted because weâre definitely on the brink of a collapse, though Iâm not sure Iâd call it a civilizational collapse. Societal collapse? Government collapse, economic collapse, etc. Not sure what I would call it or exactly what it will look like, but a collapse of some sort by 2033 seems a good bet.
