Every week there’s an article calling us cowards and the author saying we should start taking up arms and fight; issue is nobody is going to pick up a gun and start firing wildly with no plan, safe houses, intelligence, etc.
These authors expect their readers to be martyrs while sitting comfortably which is unrealistic; people are never going to follow if you don’t have an infrastructure set up for your rebellion.
Look at the gulag in the District of Corruption at the people who only protested and walked through the capitol building to see why there are no leaders stepping forward. I’ve always used the old ” the thinking that got us into the problem isn’t the thinking that will get us out of the problem” to express essentially the same sentiment . They cant hear what we are trying to say because its such a radical departure from their orthodoxy so they dismiss it . The main issue is that they believe they are the beneficiaries of the status quo , which they are in a fleeting and strictly material sense and so you could also argue they simply have no “incentive” to either listen or consider a different course of action . If you cant reach them is it moral to effectively “shortsale”( figure out a way to profit from the disaster you tried to warn them they were doing their part to ensure ) their stupidity ?
