SUNDAY MORNING CLASSICS ON TBP

A collaboration of: “The Classic Music Mafia”
Anthony Aaron, and Steve C.

Every Sunday morning we present selections for our TBP family to enjoy.

We present symphonies, ensembles, quartets, octets, etc.

Not all of our music is strictly ‘classical’. We may stray a little, but we strive to make all of our selections ‘classy’.

We offer tips on proper ‘symphony etiquette’ and even some selections that are a bit light-hearted and fun aimed at a younger audience. Those pieces will be so designated, and might be a good way to introduce kids to a world of music that they might not have been exposed to or think of as old and ‘stuffy’.

A full symphony will run as long as it will. We don’t want to cut a symphony short. However, we also include some shorter pieces that we try to keep under fifteen minutes in length. You can sample each and hopefully find one or more that pleases you.

We hope that you enjoy our Sunday selections.

I doubt there are any American 8 year olds, learning a known Russian pop song, who have the talent and courage to go on The Voice in California and sing it.

That first young lady singing like Bocelli nails it. She’s going places.
The reaction from the female judge confirms an appreciation for such range.

An opinion on The greatest piano solo of all time. As there is some deviation these days from orchestras.

Famous guitar music. I may have put one of these up some time ago but it is so very beautiful it should be shared over and over. Hard to understand how only one hand can produce such soothing beautiful music.

THANKS much for providing this much anticipated and appreciated venue to worship the music every Sunday!

I have this up on the big screen TV first thing this morning and the powerful strength of the piece is a good start to any day. Performed in the well-known city square in Munich, to a packed house audience with the fabulous genius of Yuja Wang providing her usual impeccable work to deliver the FIFTY MINUTES of virtuoso performance! Observing her face and hands going from the pounding attack of the keyboard to gently stroking it is marvelous.
