Another Clue Behind Prigozhin’s Death

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin released the following video in June on Telegram. I think it is worth revisiting this video. Prigozhin states that entering Ukraine was an invasion based on lies. He believes that the Defense Ministry was in on the cover up, potentially in cahoots with the West, and that they swindled Vladimir Putin into believing his lie.

If you read my book, “The Plot to Seize Russia,” you understand the calculated corruption of the Russian Oligarchs who hoped to use a Western alliance to regain power. Prigozhin states that false intelligence was leaked to Putin, which led him to believe Ukraine was working with NATO, which is true. However, he said that Russian intelligence reported that Ukraine and NATO were planning a direct attack on Russia, which led to the “special operation” on February 24, 2022.

“What was the point of the war? The war was needed for the self-promotion of a bunch of bastards to show off what a strong army it is so Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu gets a Marshall,” he alleged. Sergei Shoigu has led the Ministry of the Russian Federation since November 6, 2012. Shoigu and Prigozhin have been archenemies, with Shoigu leading from behind the scenes while Prigozhin was on the frontlines with a separate mercenary group. Prigozhin firmly believed that Shoigu needed to be removed from power and believes he failed the invasion of Ukraine. Putin was in the middle of the battle, with both men being personal friends.

However, siding with Prigozhin would mean changing the entire narrative of the February 24 invasion. Declaring Shoigu unfit to lead would weaken the entire military’s image and add to the narrative that the West is decimating Russia. The entire coup by Wagner was to oust Shoigu, not Putin, as he was accused of denying the group ammunition and costing Russian lives. One man said too much, while the other was complacent with the narrative. There is a possibility that a divide within the military would have grown if both men were permitted to live.

How is this a clue? This was all in the open.

“There is a possibility that a divide within the military would have grown if both men were permitted to live.”
A divide would not have grown. The divide was already there and now is set in stone, especially with the people being imprisoned or disappeared.

Armstrong cites that video as evidence? What a dolt. Sure, the Ukie counteroffensive is going swimmingly. They got Russia on the run. /sarc

More likely, Prigozhin got a big payment from the CIA to both try a coup against the government and also cast the invasion as a big misunderstanding. NATO wasn’t making the Ukraine into a defacto member at all. Vice President Skank hadn’t proposed Ukraine joining NATO at all. America didn’t want to instigate a war to “weaken Russia” at all. Western Ukraine hadn’t been shelling eastern Ukraine for eight years at all. American russophobes hadn’t been plotting the vivisection of Russia for thirty years at all. Riiiight.

Criminy, this guy Armstrong gets his thoughts directly from the American and British media.

Russia can sit and hit transformers and ports with missiles, and not be losing ground, 6 gorillion ukrainians can be dying, none of that means Russia is actually winning anything. They aren’t even protecting the areas that are their ostensible reason for the ‘operation.’

Calling it a misunderstanding with bad intelligence was to allow others beside Shoigu and Gerasimov to save face. You can support Russia’s stated goals and still think the not-war has been terrible mishandled.

The simplest explanation is that Russia is led by liars and crooks just like us and everyone else. That was the real lesson of covid.

The demilitarization of NATO is progressing splendidly.

Though I think Prigozhin is dead, he might not be dead. I think Putin ordered it because “if you strike the king you must kill him”. It is what it is. Deal with it.

It will make others think twice, but if they do, their resolve will be unshakeable.

What a ridiculously half-assed article.
The statement “Russian intelligence reported that Ukraine and NATO were planning a direct attack on Russia [which led to the “special operation” on February 24, 2022]”
isn’t even disputed, much less any contrary facts presented.

The video isn’t any help, with most of it consisting of badly aged propaganda.

The more I think about this, the more I think this guy is still alive. None of it makes any sense going back to the supposed coup attempt.
I have no idea what is actually going on, the only thing I know is I don’t believe anything the media or govt. has to say.

What no one tells you is that those planes were heavily guarded, and dogs were used to search for explosives.
The second thing they do not tell you is that when those planes fly, they are packed with arms and ammunition, including grenades and other explosives. May have been a plot, but it most probably was a stupid accident.
