So far, I’ve seen an aerial image of some downed trees, that’s supposed to be where the missing F-35 allegedly went down. I don’t buy it for a minute. Is it safe to say that we are the 1% – 3% in the nation that kinda, sorta get it? That is, are we the only ones (in the category mentioned) who routinely dissect all the ills of what is going on and discuss it with facts, as we know them. Everything from faux elections, the clot shots, the political class ((i.e., uniparty and all that goes with it), depopulation, etc.
Or, are we the ones on the fringe that support each others views and only read articles or watch podcasts that support our views while potentially disregarding other viewpoints that don’t align with ours?
I thought I’d throw this out and see what you all think. I’ve been what I would label a watchman on the wall for about 14 years now. By and large, I think most people that I’ve tried to wake up, especially liberal relatives, and a few liberal friends, think it is all just BS. Others, that I consider rational thinking conservative friends listen but, probably mention to each other there goes Gary again with his passionate views on “blah blah blah”.

I, too, felt like I found a home when I wandered in one Friday afternoon for Friday Fail and then read a couple of articles, one by Admin and especially one by TS that really touched my heart.

A college friend of mine I met up with about 2 years ago told me something similar vis a vis being right all along.
In my undergrad days, whenever politics or current events would be discussed, one of my roommates and I were always sounding the alarm on what was going on and where it would lead. Mind you, this in the ’90s, post-cold war, pre- 9/11, US debt about $4 trillion, pre-patriot act, pre-dot com bubble, pre-housing bubble, etc. Still nominally a Christian country, immigration a problem but nothing like what we’ve seen since. You get the point. (And to any youngsters reading this, yes, this country was vastly different than what you know it as.)
So my friend told me that back in college, he thought my roommate and I didn’t know what we were talking about, that we were funny, we had extreme views, etc. (We didn’t, of course, we were simply putting 2 and 2 together.) Long story short, 2 years ago my friend told me “Man, you guys knew what you were talking about, after all. I had no idea.”
So at least his eyes are open now. We’ll take the small wins where we can get them.
But fuckin’ A, it took him 25 years to see what is going on.

It is an interesting question. To me it seems like we have two big problems.

The combination of these two is deadly. It keeps a large number of people totally misinformed. I was watching War Room yesterday or Monday and they played an extended series of video clips from legacy media news outlets that were simply outrageous. These people were telling out and out blatant in your face lies. Not only were they lying the were telling the exact opposite of the truth. I just sat here stunned. Their lies were easily debunked by 15 mins of research on the net (not using google). The dems I know actually believe the lies. They have been brainwashed by years of being lied to. I have found from talking to them they not only believe the lies, they actually prefer the lies over the truth. If presented with the truth they freak out and refuse to believe it. This is the root of much of the evil in America today.

The way I see it, we live in a less draconian version of the USSR. The media is just as controlled or else marginalized, every major institution in society is controlled by supporters of the same political party, the schools exist to indoctrinate, a controlled opposition stays safely within the Overton Window or they get fired (Tucker) or deplatformed (Alex Jones) or framed (“Russian collusion” charges) or defrauded in the 2020 election and the Supreme Court that heard Al Gore’s weak case over one disputed state suddenly says, “Election fraud in multiple states is a political matter and we’re staying out of it this time.” The “deference pyramid” – people tend to defer to higher status individuals, those with fame, wealth, or power, or other sources of status. There are at most a few thousand people, like a small town, who own or manage almost everything of any size or importance.
Most people never look behind the veil, and if you tell them, they refuse to believe it because it sounds too audacious. I think TBP is a bit of an echo chamber, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. People need to vent and find community of like-minded people.

I’d say “yes” to answer the question – we’re the “tip of the spear” (first to know) when it comes to learning what’s really going on in the world – days/months/years before the general public see what we see (and many never will see).
It’s also easy to forget that we’re in an echo chamber at times – it’s human nature to want to be in a like-minded hive. Though I will read others’ views, just to see what the latest BS they’re coming up with, always keeping in mind the source of that information.
I have one friend who’s as conservative as most people here, but there’s a few areas where he still believes the official narrative. I’ve tried waking up so-called conservative friends once by telling them the covid “virus” is a bioweapon (before the jabs came out) – all I got were blank stares in response. They’ve since gotten their jabs – after previously saying they weren’t gonna get the jabs.
My own family? Forget it! They’re all jabbed except me & my daughter. She even went out to visit my folks on the spur of the moment early this summer, no one was home (she waited an hour), she left flowers for grandma (who she hadn’t seen in 3 years) and left a voice mail. No response from grandma. Grandma’s extremely pissed that my daughter and I are purebloods – my sister told me that not long ago, but I already knew that – one of my last phone calls with mom started out with her going off on me asking if I got jabbed, and why not. Only reason I didn’t hang up on her was to see how long her rant would last!
I’ve heard similar from 2 liberal brothers. On my birthday, 2 years ago, my older brother told me I was selfish for not getting it.

I am worried about this. If some group has managed to break in to the jets automated systems then the jet is basically useless. I am an engineer and have dealt with a lot of complex software stuff. If you know what you are doing it is actually not that hard to get in to systems. There are not a lot of people who know how but there are enough to be a problem.

Anyway, TBP in my observation, is one of the few places where a person can toss out what is their position in many of the fine articles that are posted. In my opinion, this place draws, on average, a higher intellect and mid life onward crowd. I find myself draw to the comments as much as the articles, as that is where thoughts have the ability broaden a persons perspective.
One of my personal favorites over the years has been Stuckey with some of his red hot poker type articles and commentary.

This site has been a daily read for years now. Growing up in NJ, I enjoy many of the references. But I have spent most of my adult life in MI. The COVID shutdown was unbelievable. No American should ever endure that loss of freedom. It made me see that there really was a Deep State and they hated me. Once you start to see the light and you realize that what you wanted to believe was true is just a lie, it is humbling.
I’m now harder to find in the mountains. We have a little land and grow way too much food for just ourselves. There are so many people here now with similar backgrounds, stories and fears. We are all preppers to various degrees.
Thanks to Admin, HSF, and so many more ( Even Stuckey). I fear for our country, our way of life, and our financial future. I try to send small donations on a regular basis to keep this going.
