Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has alleged in a recent interview that unnamed figures in Washington obstructed his attempts to interview Russian president Vladimir Putin.
“I tried to interview Vladimir Putin, and the US government stopped me,” Carlson claimed in an interview with Swiss publication Die Weltwoche published on Thursday. He also explained that he felt let down by the lack of support for his situation that he says he received from US news media.
He said: “I don’t think there was anybody who said ‘wait a second. I may not like this guy but he has a right to interview anyone he wants, and we have a right to hear what Putin says’.” The 54-year-old added: “You’re not allowed to hear Putin’s voice. Because why? There was no vote on it. No one asked me.”
The often-controversial media personality didn’t elaborate on the circumstances under which he says there was government intrusion into his plans to interview Putin but it appeared to suggest that it was the current Biden administration which was behind the meddling. Carlson also didn’t mention when the interview with the Russian leader was supposed to take place.
“I’m an American citizen,” Carlson told Die Weltwoche. “I’m a much more loyal American than, say, Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, who didn’t even grow up in this country; she grew up in Canada. And they’re telling me what it is to be a loyal American?”
Carlson –previously Fox News’ biggest star– parted ways with the broadcaster in April shortly after the news network settled for $787.5 million a lawsuit with voting-machine company Dominion Voting Systems. Fox News had regularly discussed claims on some of its shows that Dominion’s machines were involved in ‘rigging’ the 2020 US presidential election.
Carlson’s show Tucker Carlson Tonight, during which he frequently discussed issues like gender, race, sexuality and ‘woke’ ideology, was specifically referenced in the Dominion lawsuit.
Since leaving Fox News, Carlson has broadcast abridged versions of his news show on X (formerly Twitter) which regularly draw tens of millions of views.
Meanwhile, Russia TV news channel Rossiya 24 has aired a teaser trailer for a weekend show it says is to be hosted by Carlson. The promo was first broadcast earlier this month and again on September 22 along with the words “at the weekend.” It adds that the “high-profile American presenter is moving to another level. Here.”
Rossiya 24 didn’t state when the show will debut or if it will be original content or translated versions of Carlson’s X broadcasts. (RT)

Tucker has admitted being a sap at times, and he never tried to make himself as perfect. The way he has been attacked and demonized shows he is not an insider. He has shown many a main stream person there is a far different truth than the propaganda reported by the major networks, and he has earned his red badge of Courage.

Well we can’t let the American public see a real leader of a major country. A head of state who is intelligent and clear thinking. Someone who can walk and chew gum at the same time and talk without a script or earpiece.

I don’t believe this story to be true. There would be absolutely nothing stopping him from flying to Russia. Once there, he could easily reach out and make the arrangements.
This Tucker has the means to accomplish this if he so desired, and the audience to share it with. Something doesn’t add up.
Throwing a guess out there, the most logical conclusion is that he doesn’t actually want to conduct this interview.

I agree PS. A couple weeks ago on a thread here I said after Tucker interviewed that Odumbo slimeball there was no way Putin would ever agree to do an interview. I asked if Tucker was trying to be like Jerry Springer. I was attacked for my stance many times and with many downvotes. It’s now obvious I was right. Do not cast your pearls before swine.

The last thing in the world the US Dictatorship wants is for the American people to actually hear Putin’s words.
They are quite aware that if Tucker interviewed Putin, that the American people would see he is not the monster the lying US Dictatorship cons everyone into believing.
They would see for themselves that he is actually the one who is reasonable and wants a peaceful resolution to the conflict. But of course the entire US Dictatorship is on the payroll of the MIC and they are all making bank off this war, so that is all that really matters….
Even if Putin is a brutal dictator, he certainly is not stupid. Whether you agree with his invasion or not, he had legitimate reasons. Reasons US citizens should hear before deciding unlimited support of Ukraine. There are many things being hidden in the US that might moderste or even end support for this war. At least citizens should be well informed before supporting either side in this war. In the end, it should not be our war, and would have never happened if not for US meddling in 2014.

Is this the same old story from before Fox fired Carlson? We knew the US government was spying on his texts and saw that he’d been trying to line up an interview with Putin. That was when he still worked at Fox. Is he implying that a more recent attempt to interview Putin has been stopped by the US government? What law would it be breaking? I think it’s perfectly legal to go to Russia now even though the State Department warns against it and there are no direct flights. He should try again. Honestly, I don’t know why Putin would even want to talk with any western journalist – even Carlson.

The uni-party finally has its dream debate. Fox News announced that Sean Hannity will moderate a debate between Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom scheduled for November 30th at 9 pm Eastern time. Many political insiders speculate that the DNC will install Newsom as their nominee. A Newsom vs. DeSantis general election is a win-win for the uni-party as both candidates support globalist policy.
I can hear the Donald now, “Ron Desanctimonius and Gruesome Newsome.”
Say what you will, but that interview is something I would really love to watch if it was. All other considerations aside.
