Renewables, money to run out before stupidity

Australia should abandon its ridiculous Green targets and the fantasy that adjusting Co2 levels will adjust the climate to humans preferred climate settings.

A study involving The University of Melbourne, The University of Queensland, Princeton University’s Andlinger Centre for Energy and Environment, and Nous Group, provided an analysis of Australia’s path to achieving net zero carbon emissions, saying Australia would need $1.5 trillion to build out enough renewables to meet 2050 targets.

The average person has no idea how much a trillion dollars is, so let’s clarify it. Go back a trillion seconds and Neanderthals were on the Earth, and not just in Canberra as they still are today. Australia’s entire GDP is approx. US$1.5 Trillion, That is the entire output of the country in a year.

The report estimates the workforce needed to install and operate new generation assets, transmission lines, and decarbonisation efforts to be at least 200,000 people by 2030 and potentially reach 700,000-850,000 people by 2060, comprising up to 4% of Australia’s total workforce.

Eventually this stupidity will become obvious to even the Labor Government

The likely scenario is that in coming decades it will be so obvious that renewables with existing technology, cannot replace fossil fuels and that Co2 cannot be adjusted to fine tune the climate to the average punter’s liking, the whole renewables thing will be either cancelled, or the economy will be so wrecked, that there will not be enough money or ability to raised Debt capital to carry out the climate control fantasy.

The only way private investors will build out sufficient renewables is if the Government guarantees income throughout the entire life of the project despite weather impacts and despite energy actually generated. At least that will be how it is for a while, until private investors realise even the Government isn’t worth taking a punt on.

In short the money runs out before the stupidity

Looking from a Global perspective debt is pushing 300% of GDP, meaning scope to continue to accumulate debt is coming to an end. The Globalists and their flying monkey Greens attacks on fossil fuels and food production will only push inflation/living costs even higher, increasing debt servicing costs and reducing the scope to increase debt.

The Wolf Cometh, Global Debt Explodes Higher

As Margaret Thatcher once said, “The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money,” and so it will be with the Greens and Labor Government.

Comparatively viable Wind Energy a Fantasy

Remember in the meantime it will become so obvious, even to dim wit Greens, who suddenly will not be able to afford to drink lattes from a jar in a coffee shop, that renewables with existing technology will not work to replace fossil fuels, renewables efforts will fizzle out, as they are already doing in Germany. What a pity that this will likely happen after so much money has been wasted, that could have been used to drought proof the entire country, build out nuclear power and/or end poverty in Australia.

Reality Bites: Germany’s Wind & Solar Transition Declared Abject Failure

“one German State’s Prime Minister, Michael Kretschmer has come out and said what everyone has known all along: Germany’s asserted wind and solar transition is nothing short of a failure – one designed by dimwitted ideologues and cunning profiteers.”

‘Environmental madness’: Scottish Power wind turbines hooked up to diesel generators

So the people to feel sorry for are the Australian’s doing it tough financially as Green renewables racketeers make off will billions, nay trillions of dollars that could have been spent on something to improve their lot in life.

Wind energy losses mount

Even with huge Government subsidies wind energy is an economic loss maker for most companies that foolishly get involved in a sector where China controls approximately 80% of the component market.

This was demonstrated again this week as German Company, Siemens Energy booked $2.4 billion in charges on wind turbines. The Company is expected to book a 4.5 billion euro loss in 2023, as the German renewables sector flounders.

Perhaps an early indicator of the future for Western Australian wind energy projects.

Most Wind Projects are not correctly costed

This is just the start for loss making wind energy projects and manufacturers around the world, where wind project promoters are in this economist’s opinion, grossly underestimating maintenance costs, project lifetime weather risk, and are under costing environmental damage, and bushfire risk.

Losses continue at Nordex, but wind turbine maker eyes return to profit

Siemens Energy shares closed down 37.3%, on June 24 when the company announced a range of problems with its wind turbines, and have continued to trade lower following the recent booked loss announcement.

My ancestors relied on wind and solar energy. The lived in waddle and daub thatched huts, tilled the land by hand and lived short, filthy, parasite ridden lives. Boy, I can’t wait to NOT do that.

Not true liberals.
They flipped the script on liberalism..as was done with the rainbow.

Look up classical liberalism:

Basically, classical liberalism is the belief in liberty. Even today, one of the clearest statements of this philosophy is found in Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence. At that time, as is the case today, most people believed that rights came from government.

People thought they only had such rights as government elected to give them. But following the British philosopher John Locke, Jefferson argued that it’s the other way around. People have rights apart from government, as part of their nature. Further, people can form governments and dissolve them. The only legitimate purpose of government is to protect these rights.

What Is Classical Liberalism?

_____
See?
Some here, are classical liberals.

We need more of every kind of energy product. Maybe the demand will be less in the future when people keep dying for some unexplained reason. I did have a funny idea for a video. A diesel generator that needs rings running and smoking like hell while people are shown dumping waste oil into its fuel tank. This would drive some people crazy.

stupid will never go away. according to Einstein, it may be more abundant than Hydrogen, the most ubiquitous element in the universe. one cannot say Einstein was wrong looking around today.
