Good point. I’ll bet it’s greater than that, like +400 and -180. (Probably more like -170 given the slightly greater number of women, due to lower accidental death rates and longer lifespan.)
I also bet this isn’t uniform by race. Black males are probably the most negative by far, and hispanic males might even be positive, or at least close to neutral. (Hispanic being an extremely broad concept, minimally useful.)

True but their bondage had time limits and they were eventually freed. There bondage was generally voluntary as it was a means of passage paid for to the colonies by the owner. Black slave and their descendants remained slaves until emancipation.

They seldom made it to their term though, they were treated just as brutally.

Many did, poor farmers, share croppers and even white indentured servants (slaves but with a time limit). The rich estate owners weren’t going to though, which is why slaves where brought here. Same with in the Caribbean for sugar cane.
