I think this inflation will not respond to monetary policy.

It is a result of the turn off of the taps from federal lands, by EO, on Jan 20, 2021. It takes so long from application to ‘license’ a drill, then to slot it onto the drilling equipment schedule, etc, that it took a year before Bidet had to tap the strategic reserve to boost Ds through the midterms after we ran down to ‘no longer exporting, now tapping the global supply’ point, when Bidet went hat in hand to producing nations to try to get them to increase output. Oil from here, bad. Oil from ME, Brazil, Venezuela, GOOD. Added bonus, it gives them the profits, 10% for the Big Guys? Or just global agendas? The prices are just increasing to meet the new price points from raw material production, to transportation to use, to transportation to sales, along with the demand from labor to increase labor costs to cover employee rises in costs. We went through this in the 80’s, reverberations even in the 90’s. Inflation, this time, is about increased costs due to energy costs skyrocketing. This time, it’s not only the steel manufacturing environment, which started to come back under Trump but didn’t have time to stabilize before energy costs sucked the wind out of the sales. E.g. aluminum became more expensive to recycle making it unprofitable. I think I read where at least 3 recyclers closed shop. And shipping our plastic to China for recycling was always stupid, because they ground it up and put it in the ocean, but their reaction to Trump, ended that (Xi’s response to tariffs.) The eco terrorists didn’t care about what actually happened to plastic, but now, they’re hollering about microplastics. They are the reason for 95% of it with their virtue signaling, but I’m sure they’ll never point that out.

So, no, some may be from ‘too much money circulating,’ but it is not the biggest driving factor. The banks responding with increased cost of short term ‘payroll loans,’ have put some slick Harvard ‘cost cutting’ strategies such as ‘just in time’ purchases, has cause more manufacturing closures. I think Harvard in the exec suite was a huge poison pill for ‘other plans,’ at the best, at the worst, they compounded the problems with micromanaging by bean counting with long, single source supply lines.

Now that the STR is very very depleted, and most reserve munitions either abandoned or given to Ukraine, with 6 million unvetted illegal entries transported to all over the US, China and the “ISIS” branch of Islam is just about prepared to launch when we are at our weakest. It will be before the next Federal Election. There’s more than one reason they’re not worried about the election, no matter how the alt news trumpets that they are.

Possibly the only reason Trump & family hasn’t been Romanov’d.
